Wife and I are one month into a year long trip cross N America. So far, Jesse gets top nod! We were very hungry looking for late breakfast and found this place thru Unilocal.WOW. Delicious food served in a super fresh, super clean, super friendly, great atmosphere –tho you would never guess from the highway. It’s one of those rare places where ALL ingredients are prepared with forethought and love and the results speak for themselves. Jesse is a good guy with a good thing going, go see him!

The best breakfast burrito place in the Brazos valley! Made right in front of you, nothing hidden, just down right home made and made to order. The staff is awesome and Jesse is ALWAYS there overseeing everything and making sure his customers are take. Care of! I love the lunch menu too, great prices and LOCALLY owned and operated! Well done Jesse!

We are from Austin and were in town for a conference. Unilocaled this place and it was so worth the search. Tacos are amazing and HUGE! We highly recommend coming here if you’re from out of town or just a local Aggie. Took some tacos to go also

This place is perfect. Homemade tortillas, barbacoa on point. I suggest the breakfast plate, you get a ton of food for $ 10.00. Also the pan dulce is fantastic. They don’t have a huge selection of sweet bread & they do have some American desserts so it’s not completely Mexican. The empanadas however are awesome & so are their Mexican tea cakes. Highly recommend!

My daughter heard great things about the breakfast tacos, so we tried them today. ¡Muy delicioso! We both had the Mexican egg, potato & bacon tacos with homemade flour tortillas. The mild sauce had just enough kick, not too hot and not bland, perfect! Service was excellent, the line moved quickly, and $ 3.50 for a 3-​item super stuffed taco was cheap. We’ll definitely be back.

Wanted a quick lunch, but not fast food. Stopped by Jesse’s and was even served at one point by Jesse. As usual it was great food and everyone (working there or not) was friendly.

This place is SO deserving of these great reviews. I had the crispy taco/​chicken enchilada combo plus an extra tamale and it did me in for lunch. He brought out a little sampler of hot sauces with recommendations, and loved them all.
The tamale was hot and fresh, the crispy taco was simple yet tasty, and the enchilada’s flavor was great. Plenty of rice, beans and cheese made this an absolute steal at $ 11.34 after tax.
My only critique would be the lack of a plainly posted menu. If you miss the «specials“white board on the way in, you have to crane your neck to see the «deli style» red letters on white pushboard way above the ordering area. Tiny detail, though. Loved the place.

The tortillas are homemade and the best you can get in a restaurant in this town. I’ve only had breakfast here, so I can only speak about the breakfast tacos. They are huge. Two tacos and I am stuffed. Three, and I can’t move and I need to take a nap.
It is almost like a subway or free birds, in the aspect of ordering in line, buffet style with the employee grabbing the ingredients.
The green sauce is delicious. The people are great and I always feel welcomed here. Completely recommend this place.

Good quality tacos, good service, but a bit complicated to order. Downside was that the taco broke apart while being eaten. Overall well worth a visit while in the area yet a bit pricey for the type of food. $ 12 for two tacos… and who adds $ 0.75 for cheese?
We were not charged for water cups, though.

The food here is quality. I was here 1^st thing in the morning when everything was fresh. Not only is it quality it is also huge. It is a name your own taco place. I had a breakfast and a barbecoa. The barbecoa was lacking to say the least. My breakfast had chorizo, bacon, potato and egg. It was pretty good. Last but not least I tried a tamale. Also enjoyed the tamale… all of this for breakfast. I will say them main reason for it not getting a 4^th star is I feel the prices are a little high. As well I got charged for a water glass. Wasn’t thrilled about that. Worth a stop though.

Excellent customer service! Tacos are huge and delicious! One is more than enough for me. Breakfast tacos are served all day and they have daily lunch specials. Another plus is they also have bottled mexican cokes which is another plus. Definitely check them out!

I just moved near this place, and stopped by this weekend. Woohoo, awesome breakfast tacos that are served after 11 AM on weekends!
The tacos are immense — like the size of one of those Subway style burrito places, but half the price. If you’re not a huge dude or of those Amazon Snu Snu ladies from Futurama, stick to a single taco. The choice of fillings is short, but everything I got in mine was tasty. Especially the potatoes. Man, they’re good potatoes. Get potatoes! The eggs a la Mexicana have a few veggies in them, and refried beans were good. Also, the plain thinly shredded cheddar worked really well. Not a fancy cheddar, just normal ass cheddar.
The tortillas are thick and soft and warm, so good. The cheese gets all melty once they wrap everything up in its floury blanket inside its little foil shell. I kinda just threw my veg out the door and figured there was lard in everything but tried to ignore it (I could definitely get hints (not hunks) of bacon, but I powered through. Sorry little animal friends). They had some really good looking desserts (a seasonal pumpkin cheescake thing) and pan dulces and cookies and stuff, but seeing the tacos, I knew I wouldn’t even be able to finish one, let alone a treat. Now I know for next time!
I got a hotter green salsa, and a milder red salsa. Both were very very good, and fresh and flavorful. Sometimes you go to places and the salsa is all heat and no flavor, or just sort of a watery tomato juice. Next time I’ll load up on extras.
Everyone was really nice and helpful, and this place is cheap. Cheap! I look forward to this becoming our go to breakfast taco place when bands stay over.
They reheat nicely and easily (in their little foil shell and all) the next day too, if your eyes are bigger than your stomach.
