Oak Express

Comes as recommended by my wife and I. We bought an Oak table here three years ago and it has proven to be very durable and wears well. Very good quality. No cheap laminated particle board like from Wally World. Good quality. Stopped by again today and found the same friendly service as before. This is a good one.

We got a bookcase and a buffet table from Oak Express. First of all, the staff was unfriendly and kept saying «huh» when we asked them questions. The buffet table we bought was sold «as is», and we did get a pretty good deal. The problem came when the furniture was delivered. When they moved the table into the house, two of the draws fell out. The drivers said, «oops we’ll fix it», got in their truck with the draws and left… They never came back. We called 2 times about the issue, and the guy on the phone was horrible. He kept saying, «what are you getting at»… What am I getting at!!! I have a buffet table with 2 draws instead of 4!
We drove up to the store about a week later (we went out of town right after the furniture delivery) and asked a sales guy about the draws. He was friendly and went in the back room and showed up with our 2 draws. They had been fixed, but one of them had a spot where someone had driven a nail almost all the way through the front.
In conclusion, it was more of a hassle than I would have liked, and I doubt I’ll do business there again.
