Always good customer service at this location, And it’s always clean and organized

When it comes to grocery shopping or household misc shopping, this is my go to wal mart. I don’t feel like driving all the way across town when this store is close to home. Reasons why I gave a 2 star rating are as follows:
1. Customer service is awful. I went in today, for example, to buy a specific item that showed up on my
as available. I asked a manager who was stocking toys if the item was here because I could not find it. Instead of taking me to the aisle, I was pointed in the direction to go. I searched again and couldn’t find the item. I told the same man and he got up from stocking toys and went to the beginning of the aisle, pointed and said they are out of what I was looking for. I asked if they had any in the back and he asked a worker who was walking around drinking a Dr. pepper to see if any were in the back. She told him she was on break and walked off along with him. Left me there wondering what was going on and if I was being helped. Awful customer service.
2. The chicken thighs in the bags are always busted and leak. We have came home and unloaded groceries only to smell rotten chicken more than once. I mentioned it to a man in that department one day when every single bag I picked up was leaking.
I choose this store for location only. If there was another store closer I would not choose to go to this store.

I work here, for opening a new store with associates with no experience this store turned out amazing, and we have come a long way I believe this is best customer service store in the area.

This has to be a welcome foray for the people that live in this part of Bryan. It’s the first grocery store in the area. During a visit today it seems that the staff have been very well trained as everyone was friendly. It’s super clean since it just opened recently. The grocery selection is the same as the other 3 Walmarts in Aggieland.

While I agree this is your typical Walmart when it comes to things they carry, I have to say, so far it is not your typical Walmart when it comes to customer service. I stopped in here to get a few things and hopefully miss out on the lines in the College Station Walmart (they refuse to open extra lanes even when the lines are 5 carts long) and I was pleasantly surprised by the employees.
The place was clean and every person I walked by had something nice to say and a smile on their face. I rarely see even the greeters at a Walmart smile, so this to me was a big deal.
I am sure it will turn into just another filthy Walmart with no customer service, but until then I won’t walk through the door of any other BCS Walmart!
