Over the last few months, I have dropped by this location between three and four in the afternoon, and I have found that it’s a great time to avoid the crowds. I can usually be in and out of the place in under ten minutes. Since there are few people in the store during this time, the manager recognizes me, knows my name, and has my order ready quickly. If you love Cosi’s bread, which I do, you’ll appreciate that this location always seems to have bread for you to munch on while waiting for your order. The food quality has been on par with other Cosi restaurants that I have visited.

Stopped in while visiting town for a volleyball tournament. Great atmosphere, great food, fun to see them actually baking their own bagels, very reasonably priced. Will definitely be back when in the area. Thanks for making our morning!

Called in an order and was told that it would be ready in 15 minutes. When I arrived there to pick up the order — the soup was still in the frozen bags and not started … AND this is AFTER the fact that I had to ask where the soup was and they had not even realized they were out of it and it was missing from my order. I also agree with an earlier review that all of the employees look miserable. The manager was in fact very nice about the situation and promised to refund the money… BUT we are now a week later and I have not received a refund. Will not be returning to them for business.

My favourite restaurant. The food is so fresh and delicious — big proportion sizes and the staff are so friendly. One time I came here we waited about 5 mins longer for one of our meals to arrive so staff gave us a complimentary sandwich and the following time we were given brownies on the house just because!

I went there for a snack and found myself eating more than that. I got a small pizza for myself, I took a bite and ate the rest so fast I didn’t realize I wasn’t enjoying my food. After my pizza, I got a crumb cake and it was brilliant. I think everyone should try this place.

Ok lunch food. Quick and easy. Very limited handicap accessible seating indoors and outdoor seating on small walkway makes in inaccessible in the warmer months.

Ten years ago, this might have been a five star location. I’ve loved this place before the name change, when it was called X and O. In recent years, I’ve watched the place slowly decline and I find myself wanting to return less and less. They’ve simplified their menu and ordering, but removed some of the best meals I’ve had. As staff changes, there aren’t anymore employees who can still make the old menu items for me. They changed how you order your meals, possibly to cut down on people ordering their food without paying. I think it is more confusing now and the wait appears to be longer. The quality of everything seems to have degraded a bit. A few months ago, I cashed in the rest of my rewards thinking that this place might seriously close soon.

Not a huge fan of chain type of places. Having recently moved here and wanting to try just about every spot, me and the boo hit up Cosi one morning for breakfast. There is a lack of breakfast spots that aren’t chains in Bryn Mawr. So we went there not expecting much but ended up loving it. I ordered the Santa Fe wrap and he ordered the bacon egg and cheese croissant. I’m almost embarrassed to admit that it was one of the best breakfast sandwiches I’ve ever had. The pico was perfect and the eggs were fluffy and cheesy. The bread on his sandwich was crispy outisde, soft inside, and flaky. They make the bread in-house. Oh heck yes. And the iced coffees are stinkin incredible. I always get the honey vanilla. Mmm. We bring our friends here for hangover breakfasts often. Love me some Cosi’s.

I’ve been here many times but for some reason did not think of posting a review of the place. I love coming here for lattes. They’re just sweet enough for me. I also like some of their egg sandwich choices. What I don’t like is how they don’t take the effort to clean up the place after customers have been through there. Sometimes it feels like someone has just ransacked the place and they’re waiting for the cops to come check it out before they put everything back in order. Very untidy at times that I myself feel like taking extra effort to clean up a bit. The other thing I don’t like is that it’s so hard to find parking. Imagine having to park far away and walking for 10 minutes in the cold just to get a cup of latte. It naturally becomes a deterrent when there are other choices nearby that don’t have this problem. I guess this turned out to be a rant but really apart from these issues, this Cosi is a nice place to cozy down. but just for a bit though.

They have GF selections but there is no option for just oil and vinegar for salad dressing. Had the tomato basil soup which came tepid. Had to send it back to be heated. My friend’s turkey chili was also barely warm.

I am a big fan of Cosi, and I love to come to this location when I am visiting friends in Bryn Mawr. The Turkey Avocado Sandwich they released recently is amazing. My old favorite is the Turkey & Brie – also to die for. I really like how quick and friendly the service is, especially during peak lunch hours. This place can get really crowded and chaotic, but I’ve never had to wait for very long for my food or had any mix-ups. The reason I am deducting a star is because the parking lot for the shopping plaza is a mess. I’ve had to circle around for over 15 minutes before finding a far-away spot, or worse, street parking down the block. It’s not the fault of Cosi specifically, but it does add frustration to the eating experience here. I try to take the train whenever possible. Overall though, it’s really great.

Somehow Cosi does not understand that eggs are a protein than can be horribly overlooked like a steak. The breakfast sandwiches are pretty poor largely due to their cooking their eggs until they taste like rubber.

I’ve been going here for years. Since it was X and O LOOOONG ago and they served alcohol! The X and O and alcohol are long gone, but I am still a fan of this place. Since the alcohol is gone so are the droves of HS kids that used to hang around here. Numerous coffee spots in Bryn Mawr, but this one has the best parking hands down. They also have the best food options available. You aren’t limited to prepackaged sandwiches and such… they actually cook\prepare food onsite. I’m mostly a breakfast person here, but the flatbreads(sandwiches\pizzas) and salads do look good. For breakfast they have Steel Cut Oatmeal… the good stuff that has to cook for 30 minutes with fresh toppings like strawberries, brown sugar, raisins, fresh crème…They also have their version of the bagel called the squagel(it’s square, not round). And some very good breakfast sandwiches. I like the Western, scrambled egg, ham, cheese, red pepper on a croissant. As far as I know they don’t crack eggs here, but they do have egg whites available. I’ve never seen a whole egg or a pan in use, but the eggs are decent in my book. I’m gonna ask next time I’m there, but they seem to use an egg beater type product. The breakfast sandwich is assembled then runs thru the«conveyor belt toaster» where it comes out quite nicely! You can also build your own omelette sandwich or grab a yogurt parfait, muffin, squagel and so on… And as Nando mentioned… the Smores dessert is KILLER! Great fall snack! Plenty of parking, plenty of seating, good food, good drink, good service… Definitely a fan of Cosi! Stop in, bring your laptop, set down and stay a while! I bet you forget all about the ding your car got last time you parked at Starbucks!

Stood by the register to order but no one was around and no one came forward. After standing there and looking at the employees behind the counter, a woman came passed me and went behind the counter and into the back but didn’t come out. Waited a little longer, then left. Zoe’s Kitchen, 2 doors down, certainly welcomed our business engaging us as we entered. We won’t be going back to this Cosi.

Simple and safe. I much prefer Panera to Cosi, but Cosi is pretty good. Their breakfast sandwiches are descent(I prefer the wraps) and the coffee is solid. Average, run of the mill chain place, but still a pretty descent option as you know what to expect.

The chain itself has pretty decent food and a wide range of offerings, but the service can be on or off. The baristas are usually fantastic and great about substituting soy for milk in my espresso drinks, which I really appreciate. They do run out of the squagels very quickly on weekends so get here early! There have been several instances when I was stuck with a cranberry orange squagel despite harboring a craving for an everything or asiago. On one of these occasions, the manager actually sold my basil parmesan to someone who placed her order after mine. No big deal but it definitely knocks a star off for customer service. If you are here for breakfast, it’s only $ 1 more for a coffee, which is a nice perk. Try the sausage and pepper frittata squagel, which has peppers, feta, sausage, egg(obviously), and the house spread on an asiago squagel, You also have the option of building your own omelette squagel. I have tried a spinach, onion, and mozzarella on an everything, which I really liked since it’s hard to find a breakfast sandwich with spinach. Believe me, I’ve tried. The panini-like melts here are pretty good, and my pick has to be the chicken TBM, which has grilled chicken, basil, tomato, mozzarella, and a sun dried tomato spread pressed between two pieces of the house flatbread. They have their own version of Panera’s You Pick Two but you can’t really get a specialty salad with a half sandwich or soup so I tend to just get the whole sandwich with a side of baby carrots to get my veggie serving. My family loves the flatbreads here, although I’m so spoiled by Emma’s and Jules that I found them to be just okay: good but not amazing. The individual-sized portion is nice though, since you can try more varieties. Although that doesn’t stop dad from ordering a «shareable» all for himself. The chicken margherita is always a safe bet, as is the sausage and red peppers. The crust is thin, crispy, and hearth-baked, which gives it that great artisan-like taste. The sauce isn’t as flavorful as I tend to like but it isn’t bad for a large chain. The seating is similar to Panera’s but the café itself is more dimly lit. It’s also not as busy here, either. Personally, I like the hustle and bustle of Panera’s but your mileage may vary. Overall, there are some kinks, but it’s a solid café with solid food and service.

Nice little corner spot, for a coffee, i used to come here atleast 4x a month to relax and enjoy some of the desserts, throw down some java. They did change things up since the last time I was in here. The did away with the bar and alcohol, so you adding a little more octane to your coffee, or tea is no longer there … They do make sandwiches,(flat breads) salads, etc. but with qdoba up the way, and where i just came from bertucci’s. All on the same spot it’s kinda hard to pass them up. Plus if you and your lil lady come in after eating and just want to enjoy a cup or group of friends come in you guys can make S’mores… S’MORES!!! how can you knock that. Yeaa you can’t The young lady who helped me out was nice, if you go, ask for Bridgette. And her special blended/concoction of coffee. she throws in an oreo cookie. She asked if I will be in or out so she knows weather to make it hot or cold… took it on the road and this is good. They do get packed with teenagers and how they deligate to get them in and out is pretty good. The staff are friendly and they do offer advice if you look puzzled in what you want to get. This place also make starbucks look like a joke. Cleaner, more selections, wider variety, more room. plus S’mores… No complaints
