Had a great experience with Dr. Kwak and his staff. They were efficient and over-​the-​top friendly. I have yet to comment on the results of the procedure (sclerotherapy) as it takes some time to see results, but everything about my experience was positive. It seems strange to me that anyone would call their staff rude…

Simply the best cosmetic center in the area. I have personally worked with over a dozen practices in the Philly market. Best equipment, most knowledgeable and friendliest staff. I highly recommend.

A friend referred me to Dr. Kwak for both varicose veins in my legs and Botox. Dr. Kwak is extremely professional, leaves no stone unturned when explaining diagnosis and procedures. His staff was very effective in dealing with my insurance company for my varicose vein surgery and informed me of what my responsibility would be down to the penny; they were also extremely efficient with all of the details and aftercare. The medical side of his practice is very well organized, caring and professional as is his cosmetic side. I also go to Dr. Kwak for Botox and botox is more fun than surgery. He does the injections himself and listens to my needs. The staff is really friendly, his assistant Jessica does a great job. I always enjoy my visits to lumen laser and get great results. They run a tight ship and I feel like I am in good hands – No suprises here.

I also bought the laser hair removal groupon, and I’m hooked! Nicole is so awesome and sweet I would never go to anyone else. I’ve decided after my treatments to get my legs done and its worth every penny. Everyone in the office is really friendly and accommodating. I’ve heard some horror stories about laser at other places, but the really know their stuff here at Lumen

I came to Lumen Laser Center after purchasing their Groupons for sclerotherapy. I had been wanting to fix the horrible looking veins on my legs for years (in college, I had some trauma to my right thigh which caused a huge mass of nasty looking spider veins). I was a little apprehensive, since I’d never done this procedure before, but the staff at Lumen was super-​amazing. I saw Jessica for all of my appointments and she was wonderful. She’s super nice and fun to talk to, which was helpful, since the procedure involves little needle pricks. It didn’t really hurt much, but our great conversations distracted me from any discomfort that there was. Jessica took photos of my legs before and after my series of appointments and the results are incredible. This was the first summer in 15 years that I didn’t feel self-​conscious about my legs when I hit the beach. It’s been about a year since I finished my appointment series and my legs still look amazing. Jessica cautioned that I could have new veins break in the future, since it seems I’m prone to it, but so far, so good. And if I do have more veins to fix, I’d definitely return to Lumen for treatment.

I heard about Lumen Laser Center through a Groupon for laser hair removal (like the other Natalie said, TMI, but whatevs). It was something like $ 200 for 6 sessions (in other words, no hair for the rest of your life!), so I figured I’d try it out.
My treatments were done by Nicole, who is one of the nicest people I’ve ever met. She’s always really cheerful and really knows what she’s doing. We always talk about random stuff, and one day she even gave me her email in case I wanted to ask her about upcoming music festivals (she’s a huge fan).
I’m really happy with my results so far, and I just had my last treatment the other day, so we’ll see how things pan out. Nicole invited me to reach out to her if I’m not completely happy with my results. «Even if it’s just one hair!»
Everyone here is so nice and they have a pretty flexible schedule. They’re open until 6, so it’s great that I don’t have to miss work. They send you an appointment reminder email and call you the day before. I definitely recommend this place!

I first came to LUMEN after purchasing a Groupon for laser hair removal (way to go, TMI on my very first post!) Anyhow, I wasn’t sure what to expect as I couldn’t find any other reviews (which is odd considering how many people bought these things), but I went ahead and scheduled my appointment as my vouchers were about to expire. The desk staff were incredibly nice and accommodating in scheduling my appointment and even emailed me the paper work to fill out ahead of time.
As for the procedure itself– yes, it hurts– but far less than, say, waxing or getting stung by a swarm of wasps. It’s also fairly quick, and the aesthetician is blasting the area with super cold air the whole time to keep things a bit more comfortable. I was treated by Nicole, who was very nice, and explained everything thoroughly– and kept me talking throughout the procedure to keep my mind off of things.
The office, while semi-​difficult to find, is very clean and comfortable. All in all, I am happy so far and look forward to going back.

I purchased a groupon for vaser shape from Lumen. They have a very unprofessional staff that is extremely rude to the clientele. I called several times to make an appointment, and the lady literally said that she doesn’t have time to make the appointment for me. After consistently bugging them, they made me an appointment for 3 months later, indicating they didn’t have the staff or time. My coworkers have also purchased the same groupon and received the same rude treatment. I am ready to forgo the groupon to not have to deal with these people. They are some of the worst professionals I have ever worked with.
