Carolina Mountain Vacations

Stayed in sweet Caroline with my boyfriend. We’re from NYC and this was BEST experience we’ve had together in a long time. The cabin was everything in the pictures and more! The staff is so friendly and accommodating. They recommended incredible things to do around bryson city! Please go tubing down deep creek, drive out to Fontana lake, hike through the Great Smokeys and grab a Sunday at Frydays!!! Can’t wait to go back

Where do I start! Service from the beginning was great, with help planning our trip and activities and answering questions about the area. We stayed several nights in a new cabin, Pride of Glory. We were extremely impressed and didn’t want to leave. The cabin was beautiful. Actually it was perfect for our needs! We traveled with our dogs and they even had luxurious pet beds for them to enjoy. The dogs loved it there.
We hope to return again and enjoy the same cabin with friends. We tell everyone about our stay and show the amazing pictures. We happened to meet a neighbor in the same gated community that actually lived there. He was very nice. I just loved our stay there. Thank you Carolina Mountain Vacations for providing this option. Your company really made our Smokey Mountain vacation special.
Just a note: The cabin is pretty secluded and away from the hustle and bustle, which we wanted… but our cell phones didn’t work while out there. We’d go in towards Bryson City town to get service. But the WiFi worked fine for us, so we could email. There is a phone at the cabin for emergency. Wasn’t really an issue for us.

buyer beware, poor customer service and poor business practices.
holiday weekend stay was unpleasant, unsanitary, and not relaxing due to mice and mice droppings.
Company was unprofessional, not accommodating, and was not accountable when we raised the issue to them. It took a formal business/​credit dispute to force Carolina Mountain Vacations to acknowledge the issue and start to provide a minimal amount of customer service. Adding insult to injury, the company’s account of the issue was blatantly inaccurate and dishonest.

Super friendly staff and an incredible selection of cabins! They never disappoint!

Rented a cabin from them last week. Cabin was fabulous. And clean and so well equipped. Close to tubing and rafting and trails and waterfalls. Plan on doing lots of outdoor stuff while you stay here. Def go to
and plan at least two days there. they are great. Tubing was my families favorite thing and it’s inexpensive and fun for all. Do it at deep creek and get tubes on way in to park. Carolina vacation homes was really organized and had everything in order for us. They have so many cabins to choose from. We stayed at Trails End… it’s a two bed two bath and really cozy.

Best vacation of my life but 4 stars because although nice there appeared a disconnect between them and the properties they managed was given wrong directions to a local attraction. Not sure if they have too many properties to manage or what the issue was but I will use them again because my wife and I lived our respite.

We stayed in the Mountain Hideaway cabin which is just outside of Bryson City. It had a great view and it was comfy and cozy. The bathroom was small and dark but the cabin had satellite TV with the NFL package so I wouldn’t miss my games. It is also equipped with a hot tub, charcoal grill, kitchen with no dishwasher, a fire pit out back and a back porch overlooking the mountains with a couple of rocking chairs. It was very quiet and relaxing with a wonderful view of the mountains that we have a hundred pictures of. Also, there is a hummingbird feeder near the grill that we saw at least four different hummingbirds come to feed at.

Great stay; great cabin. Beautiful area. Wonderful vacation.
