This is nice restaurant, had nice fresh Ribeye steak with mix veggies, great fried calamari with cherry peppers, huge selections of tap beers. I recommend it to everyone to try it.

Great food despite they ran out of Fat Sals sauce and limes. New waitresses appear to not be trained.

Ribs — good. Beer — good. Sauce — good. Fat Sal’s — good. mmmmmm… barbecue. It’s a tight fit, but worth it. Parking is on the other side of the road, but it’s easy enough to get across; follow the chicken. The chicken crosses because it likes the barbecue too.

Took out from here a while back and was not particularly impressed. For starters, parking was a bit difficult and we had to navigate through a very crowded room to the rear to pick up our order. The food was ok but nothing to really rave about. Our orders(burger and pastrami sandwich) seemed to be kind of thrown together and arranged in a very messy fashion. The taste was passable but nothing to travel for. The staff seemed very friendly but the atmosphere was very cramped. For those living in the neighborhood, I guess this is a great spot for a bar & grill experience. However, I don’t think it’s worth the travel. The food is good but nothing outstanding.

Went here with my parents for their«Express Lunch» one afternoon. Prices ranged from $ 9 – 11 but don’t let that get too you. The baby back ribs didn’t even come with a side($ 9). It was literally a slab of meat on a plate. I had to saw the ribs apart and they were really fatty. My moms salad looked like a kids portion and she finished it in about 10 minutes. Go for the full price menu because it’s only a few bucks more and you get more for your money. Our waitress was very attentive though! It was so cold in the restaurant that we had to blow into our hands. Plus the music was super loud, alternative and not exactly family style. Bottom line: poor quality food, bad atmosphere and a small restaurant.

I had almost the same experience as Mike M. I had made a reservation for a Saturday night assuming it would be crowded. Walked in with 10 people and it wasn’t crowded at all. A couple of people at the bar area and couple of tables seated. Food was pretty good, service and Manager were not that friendly. Same answer on refill soda, «it is not a chain restaurant.» After I was charged about $ 25.00 for soda, I was offered a cup of coffee,(after I already had one.)

Went with my wife, another couple, and their two kids. The food was good, but there were three problems. First, our waitress wasn’t very friendly, and when one of the kids wanted to know if the ice cream was soft serve or not, I asked and she told us, «It’s ice cream.» Okay. So our bill arrives, and they charged us for every single soft soda refill at $ 3 a pop. That is certainly not standard at most restaurants, particularly without being advised of it. When I questioned it, I was told by the manager, «This is not a chain restaurant.» Strike two. Finally, I gave the waitress money for the bill and after ten minutes, she didn’t return with the change. I asked the manager and all he did was ask me if I wanted coffee. No thanks. I had to chase her down for the change. Basically, there seems to an attitude issue with this place and the two-star rating I gave is actually quite generous.

We came here for buy one get one burgers on a monday night recently. The deal changed to buy one get one half off. The burgers were really big and juicy so it was still a good deal. The place is a nice pub atmosphere and the staff was efficient. My husnand got buffalo wings which he didnt like but its bc he disnt order them extra crispy which he claims should be a given but i disagree. The wings were quite big and if they were crispier they wouldve been good. All of our fries came out cold and my dad and husband sent them back. The nightly deals menu looks interesting so i would probably go back at some point.

Had a great time at Fat Sals Saturday night. Had seared tuna salad, great choice, well presented and juicy! Will be back during the week for happy hour and other specials. Love this place!!!

No apologies Great bargain don’t get me wrong. Super friendly staff etc. as a frequent diner locally I am offended at paying 2.50 for seltzer water. Plus they charge for refills. So 10 bucks on the tab that should be free. Or maybe a dollar. No big deal right. I forgot they do this and it was too late after she asked. Ok Tacos 7.95 for 5 healthy tacos. You can’t beat that. Unless you add a soufflé cup of Lame guacamole for 1.50 no spice, no cilantro, no lime? No lime wedges with the tacos and a request for Cholula hot sauce resulted in a soufflé cup of Frank’s red hot. No thanks. Besides it wasn’t mentioned that they only had this for hot sauce(why no tobasco?) the Tomatillo salsa verde had no flavor nor did the steak. Wings perfect Burger over cooked Buffalo shrimp if they were not over cooked change the grease they were very dark brown Buffalo sauce for the shrimp is straight hot sauce. Note to cocineros at Fat Sals Salsa Tradutional Buffalo es una combinación de rojo vivo y mantequilla. Ok I’m not saying I will not be back but I do doubt it. Ps those lame ass French fries… How hard is it to run a potato across a mandolin? And what happened to the crinkle cut fries, those were good.

We just can’t try it anymore. We live so close but have crossed this place off of existence. They had: –credit card machine issues(for too long & months after they opened) –telephone issues(days in which their phone numbers literally didn’t work) –order in advance, get there 20 – 30 min later to wait ANOTHER20 – 30 min– more than twice! –and last weekend they suddenly didn’t deliver(on a Saturday) –the food is over-greasy & poor quality frozen. I expect frozen from a joint like this, but this is bottom of the frozen quality chain :-(. –they have good wings & they get 2 stars for that. Ugh! Why can’t we get a nice quick place to eat from around here!

That French Dip sandwich was off the chain and the delivery guy’s the best! I’ve visited the bar and have placed delivery orders since my initial review, but have not been too pleased with the quality of food or service since. Although their menu advertise delivery, it’s been recently denied.

Nothing like I thought it was going to be! Everyone raves about the French dip mine was tough and chewy. Had a very friendly waitress and service was good but the burgers tastes burnt and not sure if I’d be back to eat anytime soon! Bar atmosphere seemed nice and had a couple great specials during the week. Maybe I’ll try again in a couple months

Went last night(Wednesday) Food was great. Got the French dip. It was huge and really tasty. Also got wings and wife got mac and cheese she said was really good. Only down side was we dat at a table in the bar area and some of the guys from the bar kept coming over and telling us what to order then came back after we got our food to see what we ordered. There were 3 or 4 guys really drunk and annoying in the bar. Next time I’ll definitely sit in the restaurant area. Also 2 guys kept coming in from outside to use the restroom for 15 – 20 minutes at a time and everyone in the place had to use the ladies room. Not sure what they were doing in there. But all in all worth it for the food and the price.

If the bar is active, expect lackluster service at the tables. The dining room is very small and in the summer an air conditioner is blasting directly at tables. Not the greatest layout. The food is OK, but not great. I would recommend more as a place to grab a beer and maybe some appetizers.

Sunday lunch with my kids. Service was spot on(Jackie) and the food was as well. We shared wings and a burger and that was plenty for us. The burger was just about perfect. My kids loved the place. We’ll be back soon.

The place is nice looking and new. The food is pretty good. I recommend the meatloaf or the bb back ribs. Day side there’s a tall blonde bartender that looks like a model who is super sweet and helpful. She shook me up a nice Makers Manhattan You can eat at there bar therefore. Nothin too fancy but great pricing and food is done here

Was exploring around upstate & stumbled upon this place for a late lunch. Ribs were terrific, Bull&Barrel Honey Blueberry beer was ice cold deliciousness and the service was good. Cozy atmosphere. If you buy a bottle of their BBQ sauce some of the proceeds go to Autism Speaks. Would go back :) Only complaint, could have been a little warmer in there,(but I’m also 28 going in 90 and am cold wherever I go…)

A new place in a building that has been at least 2 other venues that I know about. It was certainly packed on a Friday night, as you would expect. There’s a small lot across the street so parking could end up being a problem, but we didn’t have one. Lots of folks at the bar, both on our way in and on the way out. We lucked out and got a table right away(it was early-ish). By the time we were leaving, people were waiting for tables. Service was OK but I forgot how small the dining room is, but they do a good job considering. I had the Fat Sal’s Burger and she who cannot be named had Chili and Mac & Cheese with toasted bread crumbs. Hers: The Chili was hotter than expected, but not too hot to eat. She neglected to read the fine print(or maybe ANY of the print) and it turned out to be porterhouse chili with huge chunks of meat, maybe porterhouse, maybe not. Unexpected but interesting. The Mac & Cheese was nothing special; wifey’s Mac Daddy Mac & Cheese is better. My burger… well, I believe that you should eat a burger with your hands. This one required a knife and fork due to the toppings. Burger was good, not great. There was some interplay of flavors that I wasn’t too fond of. Maybe it was the pumpkin beer and the bbq sauce, who knows. We both agreed we would give it at least one more shot. Just couldn’t go to 4 stars.
