Complete Junk all around. From food to personnel. Food is overpriced without the quality and the service is even worse. Incompetent owners that doesn’t know any better managing ill-mannered sushi chef and feeble-minded servers to represent their establishment. Owners are POS wannabe christians that will patronize and antagonize you. Even their psychotic friend try to get physical with me pretending to be tough. However I maintained my composure like a human being and walked away. These so called christians makes me sick. so called sushi chefs are extremely childish, dirty looking monkeys that are cordial with those dish washers. Lastly what can I say about these waiters/waitresses. That’s pretty much it.

My wife and I went there for midnight happy hour. We got free jalapeño bomb for check in on Unilocal. We order the spicy lobster sensation roll, Philadelphia roll, and spicy tuna roll. We really so impressed their service with us! I am highly recommend you get spicy lobster sensation roll on happy hour! If you come in for happy hour and it is reasonable price for sushi place. We will definitely come back.

Okay for a sushi place. I was around the area and had a craving for sushi, so I decided to check this place out. I was here for dinner around 8pm on a Saturday night, and fortunately, it wasn’t too busy. Parking was a nightmare though. The plaza is super crowded on weekends. The jalapeño bomb(free with Unilocal check-in) was good! Perfect hint of spicy, good crunch on the outside from the tempura. I also had their Sashimi Plate(3 pieces each of tuna, yellowtail, salmon) which tasted fresh. I don’t recall what the soy sauce they had on the table was, but it was NOT good. My mom had the Washington rolls(California rolls with Salmon on top), which was okay. The imitation crab meat in the rolls were whatever, but I feel like that’s how most of them are; salmon on top was good though. I generally tend to stay away from the rolls, but mother gets what she wants. The service was meh. Once we were seated and they took our order, the servers only stopped by for a few seconds to drop off our food. They refilled our water, maybe once towards the end of our meal, but that was about it as far as checking on us went. We also had to wait awhile to even get a server’s attention to get our check. The bill was about $ 40 for two, and neither of us were super full. Overall, food is decent, service could be better. Not sure if I would come back again to be honest.

To start with the good, the food was great! I got the Teriyaki Chicken Bento and I really loved the teriyaki sauce. It was a very filling bento considering you also have salad, miso soup, tempura, and california roll. It would’ve been a 5 star experience except that the waitress at the time seemed to be very impatient and a bit annoyed. I understand she was busy, and that can make a person impatient, but I feel there are kinder ways to show it. After she sat us down, she proceeded to yell out something to another staff right as she passed by my ear. Later, she came to take the order and I had a couple questions to ask(as a first time customer) and she seemed annoyed by the questions and proceeded to say something implying that we should place the order since it’s busy. As far as service in general goes, there was no checking on the tables, refilling waters, bringing the napkins we asked for, etc(I got the napkins from a different member of staff much later and she seemed a lot more pleasant to deal with and would have loved to have her as our waitress). if it wasn’t for my much more compassionate wife paying, I either would’ve either tried to tip the cooks somehow for the delicious meal, or omitted the tip altogether. Towards the end, she seemed like she wasn’t as angry and politely told us if we could pay sooner and then take as much time as we wanted to enjoy the meal since her shift was ending soon…

Excellent sushi joint very roomy and great service which is a plus for me! Lots of specialty plates… I ordered the Matrix plate which is spicy tuna, cucumber with deep fried spicy salmon, cream cheese, salmon skin, honey mustard, eel sauce and spicy mayo! Checked in with Unilocal and got a free jalapeño bomb too! Appetizers have a good amount of choices too and not as costly as some places! My new sushi spot!

Lunch bento is great deal! Under $ 10 and plenty to eat… it comes with miso soup too. Also free hot tea ! Nice cool industrial look too. Sorry I was too hungry forgot to check in and no photos… make sure to check in… you get free Jalapeño bomb! Only downside is parking in this shopping mall quite busy due to HMart, 85C Bakery and other few popular stores and eateries.

I was skeptical when I saw the 4.5 stars, how can this place be that good? But man, I was totally blown away! The only thing I like more than a freebie is multiple freebies, and from the moment you sit down, immediately water came with free edamame, which is not typical for your average restaurant. Then, if you check in, you free free jalapeño bombs, which is the ! With it, came free Kim chi and pickled daikons which were also yummy! I ordered the tonkatsu ramen, and I was definitely happy with it. Filled with bamboo shoots, mushrooms, a half an egg, and chashu. Absolutely generous. The service though, was what made it five stars. They were very attentive, and when I asked for a smaller soup spoon for my ramen(it came with a ladle), the waiter brought two choices for me, which I found so funny and endearing :) Great job guys who are working there today(2÷3÷16)−6 pm. Owner, If you are reading this, kudos to those waiters, especially the guy with glasses. definitely will come back!

This place was not good at all. Except the jalapeño bomb. That’s the only thing that saved it from being a 1 star establishment. I’m not a sushi-noob. I heart Nozawa, Sushi Gen, Sugarfish, Cagen, brushstroke-ichimura. I know what I’m eating! First, any place that has as many rolls covered in sauce or super baked on its menu as any of the holy books should send off red flags. But I was trapped in La Mirada with few choices. Unilocal reviews made it sound like this place would be okay. Unilocal, YOULIED! Second, why is the spicy tuna super dark red? Like gochujang red? Is it Korean-Japanese fusion? If it marketed itself as fusion, then fine. Except it wasn’t. You can’t taste any of the fish. Just the hot sauce. Third, the color and texture of the uni signaled that it was not fresh. I shouldn’t have put the slightly brownish leaky mess in my mouth, but had to try. Not only was it not sweet, it was bland and had a faint aftertaste of stagnant diluted seawater. Fourth, service is slower than watching molasses crystallize. Fifth, the soy sauce wasn’t good. But neither was the fish… dunking it in bad soy sauce made it worse. Sixth, quality of the raw fish most likely led to the fetal-position causing stomach pains my girlfriend and I both felt roughly 45 minutes after eating here. W.t.f?! I’ve never gotten sick from fish. This is the first time fish has failed me… and it was from Ki. Gosh. I finally stopped using the bathroom about 14 hours after eating here. Enter at your own risk, mortals.

Came in on a slow night, the service was good and the sushi was delicious! My wife and I shared the dream boat which was more than enough for the two of us. The quality of the fish was really good. My only disappointment was not getting the complimentary jalepeño bomb after checking into Unilocal however, since we were both so full from the food we didn’t ask for it after the fact. I would definitely eat here again.

1. Great tasting fresh fish 2. Hand rolls look like ice cream cones of fish. Also amazing tasting. I stopped by on my way to work just on a whim and my was in for a delicious surprise. I ordered salmon belly sashimi and it was so appealing to the eye and the taste sealed the deal. Now for my handrolls. I had a yellowtail roll and a salmon skin roll. Both of them looked like they were exploding with fish!!! Flavor was on point :) I’m easy, I want fresh fish, I want a lot of it, and I want it now. These guys delivered on all of those. Next, I’m going to have to take the wife to get a second opinion.

We got here about 5:15 pm; party of two. The place wasn’t the busiest at the time. The waitress, didn’t take our orders since there were tables ahead of us that hadn’t ordered… didn’t make sense that if a table is not ready to order yet others have to wait. We ordered two dishes a sashimi dish and a Salmon Teriyaki. The Sashimi made it to the table in about 25 minutes. In defense of the restaurant the sashimi was excellent and very high quality. However, the Salmon just didn’t make it to the table. We waited about forty five minutes for it then cancelled the order and left. As it turns out this was my second time at the restaurant and it was second time my order got screwed up at I had to leave without eating. As I said the Sashimi was great but the service was absolutely awe full. It was nice of the owner to come and apologize but I think I will look for a new place.

Server: Irene But had other servers help me too. Ordered two sushi lunch combinations and agedashi tofu. Their presentation is beautiful and very appetizing. It was good quality fish, 8 out of 10. Price, about $ 20 per person. It was a good lunch dining experience and would definitely come back.

Came here on a Friday evening and it was packed! Luckily it was only two of us and we were seated right away. I’m not going to lie — my friend and i were there for a couple of hours and service was on the slower side. They forgot about our appetizer until after the mains came, and they completely forgot my side of rice… which I ended up cancelling either way but still. In terms of food though — it was spectacular! I loved the sushi and sashimi dinner. It was honestly a giant portion, and even though I was starving, I easily could have shared it. Really loved the variety and the fish was really fresh. Price for the dinner was really reasonable as well although I did note that the fun rolls were a tad expensive. $ 15 for a roll is a bit much. Overall though, really good quality sushi — I’d come back!

I would say this is the best sushi spot in Fullerton in the past 20 years I’ve been living here. Not only is the food here fresh and amazing, the customer service and the owners are friendly and very professional! I always get the Chirashidon and the yellow tail sushi and it always satisfies my sushi cravings. The assorted fish is always fresh and is amazing quality. My friends always get other rolls and appetizers that are served here and I have never heard anything bad from them Happy hour here is amazing as well! If you’re looking to eat good quality sushi that satisfies all your cravings, definitely recommend this spot!

They have really great happy hour deals and their JAPANESERAMEN is sooo good. Also service here is really great too and everyones super nice. I love this place :)

RYANISAWESOME. Girlfriend and I strolled into Ki after a stressful evening — because we went to Knott’s Scary Farm. haha. After all the screaming, and running away from the ghouls, we were pretty much darn hungry. It was a Thursday night around 10 pm– came just in time for Happy Hour! Ryan greeted us and sat us. Ki’s specialty rolls menu was quite impressive– so many selections to choose from! While we really cannot decide what to order, Ryan came by and offered us a few of his favorites. We at the end decided to order the«Spicy Fantasy Roll» and«Spicy Washington Roll». Both rolls were GINORMOUS and delicious. The mixed tempura was also fried to perfection. Everything was perfect. Food, company, and service– however, one of the other staff was not as enthusiastic and helpful compared to Ryan though– maybe he had a rough day. Will definitely return here though!

A SUSHIPLACEOPENTILLMIDNIGHT! Deluxe Sashimi Dinner What a beautiful presentation! Eight compartments filled with variety of sushi. My friend enjoyed it, but couldn’t finish it. Fantasy Roll I’d say the sushi was fresh, but the temperature of the sushi threw me off. A bit too warm for my liking. Ootoro(fatty tuna) The color of the ootoro was a different shade of pink to what I’m familiar with. However, my friend said it was pretty fresh. Service was great! I never had to ask for water and it’s open super late, so it’s a great place to hang out with friends and enjoy drinks.

Pros: 1. Rolls are huge and flavorful 2. Good happy hour 3. Clean environment 4. Big menu choices 5. Complimentary edamame and miso soup Cons: 1. Typical Korean service: wave over waiter for everything 2. Sashimi was decent, not super fresh or juicy Overall, I’d come here again– standard sushi restaurant!

Came here for a post-workout dinner to try and be on the healthier side. Located in the middle of «little-Korea,» I was impressed that this restaurant had a sleek and modern feel to it. There are booths, tables, and bar seating available. The RAINBOWSASHIMISALAD here is delicious. The dressing is light, and not creamy at all– more of a miso-soy based dressing. I loved that they actually give you HUGE pieces of sashimi: Salmon, Tuna, Yellowtail, Shrimp(cooked). The UNI nigiri is bombbb! If you’re a uni lover, then you won’t be disappointed. Not only is the uni creamy and fresh, but they give you large pieces of uni compared to your ordinary sushi restaurant. The YELLOWTAIL nigiri here was also tasty– also, huge, fresh, pieces of sashimi! I also saw a sign out front with special 30% of select food items and appetizers. They also have several large flat screen TV’s around the restaurant. This would be good if you’re trying to watch a game while grubbing.

They have the atmosphere down and most of the dishes were good. One really strange thing was their spicy scallop sushi. It was made with korean red chilli paste, which is weird. I won’t order anything spicy anymore. Other than that, the sushi was pretty good and a decent size. They serve their sushi different depending on the chefs. The hotate seems a little on the dry side and a bit smaller than when served in japanese run restaurants. They sometimes put green onions on top, which was a little weird but ok. I would have preferred yuzu or even just some sprinkle of sea salt. Ordered the scallop dynamite roll bc reviews said so. It was ok. but I’m not much of a roll fan. My mom really enjoyed their tempura udon.(Temp on the side.) We also tried the sashimi boat $ 70 and it was well presented and their sashimi cuts are quite generous. Their tai(red snapper) was especially good this time. It came with miso soup and salad which were both good. I normally don’t like miso soup but i enjoyed theirs. Also came with shrimp and vegetable tempura. My mom went back to try their Al bap(fish egg mixed rice) and she said it was good although small. They seem to have a very good hh menu so I hope to try it someday. :)
