I have been stalking this place for a while and managed to convince my boyfriend to come here instead of going some place else. It’s located inside the Super1 market. We looked at the menu and got the spicy shrimp dumplings and the pork dumplings… The pork dumplings were huge and there was a lot of shrimp dumplings– both were delicious! Our cashier/server was very friendly and recommended a lot of servings to us! No doubt we will be back again!

The food was good, my only criticism is the filling seemed like scraps from the place next door. There were some rubbery pieces that I wasn’t too fond of. Whatever it was, the taste was pretty decent.(Make sure to dip the dumplings into a mix of vinegar and soy sauce or it can be kind of bland) The restaurant itself is a small«whole in the wall» inside of Super One Mark so it can get pretty noisy, but I really didn’t mind. I may have given 4 stars if it weren’t for the service. There was a middle aged women who took our order and she wasn’t the friendliest, I figured she may have had a bad day, until more customers came in and she was as friendly as could be. Luckily there was a younger girl working in back who was super nice; too bad she didn’t take our order.

Too legit! Too legit to quit! This is the song that replayed in my head as I took my first couple bites into the dumplings we ordered. Since new year is right around the corner I wanted to get some frozen dumplings for new years day dumpling and rice cake soup. First place that popped up was here and honestly I was skeptical. You see I’ve lived here my whole life and am well accustomed to this food court and ALWAYS ordered my dumplings from the chinese food place in the food court. I always passed by this place, feeling sorry for it, thinking why would anyone buy dumplings from here when the chinese food place is right there and you can also get jjajangmyun with it. But then I saw the good reviews and decided to check it out. The lady spoke korean, but later heard them speaking chinese. OOh good sign!!! Chinese people know their dumplings. We ordered the wang mandoo(giant puff ball of goodness), the xlb(with its own delicate soup inside) and the pan fried mandoo(so delicious no explanation needed). ZOMG all 3 were to DIEFOR. How stupid I felt for ignoring this place for so long. The wang mandoo bread is that taste that the chinese bread from Peking gourmet had in the 90’s. That familiar, delicious taste that you can’t get anymore because too much crap has been added. The filling is just as good. The xlb had so much flavor with just the right amount of ginger and the pan fried I honestly don’t know how they make it so delicious but it was so good. My husband said the owner looked very satisifed watching me eat because she could tell how much I was enjoying it. I get to pick up my frozen mandoo on Friday and I am so excited to use it in my soup. I already know its going to be DELICIOUS.

My wife is Taiwanese and loves her some dumplings. Before we would have to wait in ridiculous lines at dintaifung to get this type of quality so we were super excited to find this place close to us. The dumplings are just as good as dintaifung and I love supporting these types of business. I talked to one of the workers there and she told me the recipe has been in their family for over 25 years and they’d been making them for that long so they know what they’re doing. Only recommendation is to order over the phone ahead of time or order first and go shopping because the orders are not pre made and are made after you order which is a good thing. Very friendly service and very tasty.

Love love love this place! A simple menu, but everything is fresh and handmade. I love the wang mandoo and could probably eat it everyday. I’ve tried the veggie and kimchi mandoo as well… all very good. I need to go back and try the others. This place is a hidden gem but totally worth the trip!

The fact that this place is semi-hidden in a Korean American market in a busy but manageable suburban part of Buena Park, made my discovery of this dumpling house a major WIN I say win because the dumplings here are actually comparable if not better than Din Tai Fung. Yes — I said it! Despite its nondescript location(very hole in the wall), the xiaolongbao are: 1. Fresh(handmade before yo’ eyes) 2. Tasty(just the right amount of broth inside the dumpling) 3. And made by a team of women from Shanghai(perfectionistic) This honestly has to be my personal Unilocal find of the year; it was worth the wandering(in like 2 aisles of parking lot) and the asking(see phone number on their Unilocal site). Prices are hard to beat. Finally, they speak Korean, Chinese, and English clearly! So get it on. Cheers

This is a small and very hidden shop inside Super one Mart, although their sign is rather big, you can only see it once you’ve entered the market. The menu is limited to 10 items but I’m totally ok with that if what is made is made GOOD. The menu has pictures in addition to Korean and English descriptions of the food. I tried the spicy shrimp dumplings and the dim sum. Both were $ 9, which seemed a little pricey at first. Upon seeing my food, I would say the price was fair for what I got. The dumplings were pretty large in comparison to dim sum at a restaurant. The order of shrimp dumplings had 8 and the dim sum had 10. It takes about 10 mins for your order to be made because they are making the dumplings fresh! Of the two my favorite was the spicy shrimp. It was just what I like, shrimp with a kick. The dim sum was good too but the shrimp is definitely superior to it. In my opinion it just had more flavor. The food was good, and I totally recommend stopping by for lunch or taking a to-go order(I did) CHECKITOUT!

So good that I stopped by to get some after stuffing my face with KBBQ. They have savory and sweet ones. They’re all good and it’s cheap. This is inside a grocery store to the left when you enter.

Their frozen dumpling is the BEST for Mandu-kuk or Ttuck man-du(Korean dumpling soup). Not too salty and they did put lots of shrimp and meat inside the dumpling, other places prefer to put more of veggie and glass noodle to reduce the food cost. Everytime I go there always bought 3 bags of sam-sun frozen dumplings, so I can make delish soup for myself at home lol

MUSTREADREVIEW! Honestly, this place is rediculously fresh. The owner is certified and she makes the dumplings and the rest of the food, as you order. It wasnt a long wait, this place is seriously worth visiting. Location: inside grocery store Price: 7 – 9 $, but tastes like 15 $ This is probably the best dumpling place I have had. Very traditional

Convenient and fast pick– up order. I can tell that they did not add any msg cause i did not get super thirsty after the meal. My favorite one is the super size meat bun. Strongly recommend this place if you want to try home-made dumplings. Price is reasonable.

You might be thinking 4 dumplings for $ 7? Isn’t that kind of expensive? Well, not really because these dumplings are HUGE. Also I think dumplings is a bit of a misnomer, I would call them buns. Four«dumplings» fill up an entire Styrofoam container! They’re steamed to order so they’re piping hot and the bread is so fluffy that I couldn’t stop poking at them. The red bean buns in particular are so cute and look like balls of pizza dough waiting to be rolled out. Not surprisingly the red bean buns are filled with lots of red bean paste and the pork buns have pork, veggies and glass noodles — very much like Japanese niku-man. Workers are super nice as well. I’m going to have to check out more of Super 1 market too. It’s not as slick as H Mart across the street, but they have a bunch of cute little shops and restaurants inside.

My kid can’t stop eating these dumpling. They are fresh and inexpensive but man, they will knock you off your feet. I was a little skeptical when I saw where this place was located but I’m glad I ventured into this market and found King Dumpling. The Duke better watch out because I am hooked on this dim sum. The workers were supper nice and quick to assist me with whatever I needed. If your are in the area, don’t miss out. Eat up
