Went here cautious about the quality because of how good the prices are. Was very very happy. I ordered 3 rolls which was too much and the fish tasted super fresh. Staff was very friendly too. I will be going here lots now!

Have a really bad sushi craving but don’t want to spend too much money? Get your sushi fix here! It’s located in the Hannam food court, this place is definitely a hidden gem. Their menu isn’t extensive but everything is 4.99. Their sushi tastes is decent too! I always get either the Alaskan Roll or the Stinky Roll. $ 10 and my sushi craving is satisfied! CASHONLY place!

Best bang for for your buck if you have a craving for sushi, but don’t wanna spend too much money. My favorite is their sashimi salad(hwedupbap)! It’s only 4.99 for a large sushi sashimi salad that comes with miso soup! They have various sushi rolls that are all around 4.99 for a pretty generous portion.

We eat here every week and are never disappointed. Always fresh, always made to order. You can call on an order and pick it up inside the market. Love it, you can’t beat $ 4.99 sushi! We usually get 2 rolls each and it Fila us up. The salad bowl is really good too.

Yum! I’ve never been in this market, it’s amazing, and the Haru sushi was so good, so cheap and lerfecy. I had udon, a salmon roll with spicy tuna, my son had a California roll and everything was less than $ 15

Good Sushi at a great price. If I could understand what they say over their PA speaker it would be perfect ;)

If they don’t know how to give good service, they shoukd be in training again. I placed two orders for two kids and they pack it in one to go box, when I said it was dine in. One order was supposed to he baked, and it was raw inside and when i had approached them, they said that’s hiw it’s supposed to be… this is wrong… my daughter has been eating baked salmon for several years now and it has never been any raw parts inside. Instead of apologizing, they just said i could cook it more… still no apologies. These girls need to learn how to treat their customers. This place, I give negative 5 stars. If they don’t know how foid is supposed to be made, they shouldn’t be working there.

Don’t expect to be able to pay with your credit or debit card, but the sushi wasn’t bad for a decent price.

I SUUUUUPPERRLOVETHISPLACE! Simply the sushi here is cheap and delicious! I always get the sushi nigiri 10 pcs. $ 8.99+tax. You cannot beat that! Also, you can choose what to put on the sushi plate and I only order 10 pcs. of salmon nigiri. It’s such a delight. Moreover, their tempura roll is competitive. It’s simple yet complete. I think theirs is better than some of the tempura roll I’ve tasted before. Sushi are good and cheap here. Period.

I really enjoyed my meal here! Service was nice and fast! They give you a miso soup with each order/per person. Everything was really tasty! Atmosphere is that of a cafeteria, nothing fancy. It’s a cheap sushi fix! Recommend that giant bowl(picture attached) :D Most things $ 4.99 + tax!!! California roll even cheaper!

This place has recently undergone an ownership change, following a disastrous health and safety review. Facilities inside seem to have been renovated. Located in the Hannam chain food court off beach and Malvern, this little, korean influenced sushi joint is to me the definition of the phrase ’ hidden gem ‘. There are several, standout vendors in this little food court located inside a korean market, but this place represents to me a quality to $ ratio unmatched by any single restaurant, bar, establishment, period. Hwedupbap is $ 4.99 here. That’s a giant, oversized phở bowl of chopped greens, julienned crab meat and seaweed, rice, salted roe, and a generous fistful of mixed, chopped sashimi. Mix together with a sweetened, korean chili paste vinegrette and a little bit of soy and toss vigorously until contents are evenly distributed — What you are then left with is a hefty, flavorful bowl of korean style sashimi salad that delivers fatty raw tuna to your taste buds with every satisfying bite. And O my, many bites there are. When your jaw muscles tire from the spoonfuls of sashimi chunks being delivered to your face, take a break and wash it down with warm sips of deliciously salty miso soup; sprinkled with scallion slices and compliments of the house. This place’s $ to quality ratio is unheralded. Best bang for buck sushi joint in SoCal, period.

Unbelievably cheap price. 4.99 no tax and you get big ass roll and get satisfied. The girl and chef are super nice and talkative(idk if this is only for me cuz i used to work in this market they’re in) I dont really go there anymore because im lazy to wake my dead body up.

At $ 4.99 a roll, this is probably the cheapest rolls you will ever find. I originally didn’t know this place existed, have been a huge fan in the one in Torrance. As for the infestation, if your worried about it, everything is placed in your view while they make it. I don’t think there is much of a problem and chances are, it probably spread from another food vendor place since it sits next to other food places. Been there twice so far, im not sick at all! *knocks on wood*

Haru Sushi is one of the restaurants located inside the hannam korean market foodcourt. Everything there is very cheap… sushi role 4.99…not the best sushi but for the price you pay, its good. Ordered the shrimp roll which had fried shrimp inside with shrimp and avocados on the outside on top. Only complaint is that the fried shrimp inside was not freshly made/fried, but premade. Would be so much better if it had been freshly made/fried…oh well its only $ 4.99!!!

Pretty nice spot. Affordable and fast. Even though it is in a market, I’d be down to come back and get more.

With the exception of 2 Unilocalers, all the other reviews have been made by Unilocalers with no previous reviews and coincidently all have 5 star ratings. This sounds a little fishy to me. Arrived here and immediately left after going online and finding out this place was recently closed due to Vermin activity, cockroach infestation and numerous other reasons. I love my health and appreciate not risking getting sick. Hope you do the same.

This place is closed due to cockroach infestation. Pays to read the paper! I eat at only place(not here) so the low stars are based on the«restaurant closures» article.

Hallelujah! God has answered my prayers!!! Finally a place that sells cheap(er) rolls. No other place is like this! It doesn’t matter how extravagant or special the roll is because it’s all $ 4.99! Even the sashimi vegetable rice is $ 4.99. My order consisted of the haedukbab and spicy albacore roll. And it all cost under twelve dollars. Go and check it out for yourselves. There is a catch though: CASHONLY
