Compared to blaze pizza and pieology, I would say that pizza studio is the best option. They have more variety with their crusts and toppings than the other places. Also, the pizzas come out of the oven in 2 minutes guaranteed which helps a lot especially when I’m in a rush. I like the location of this pizza studio since it’s right next to a chipotle, yogurtland, Marie calendars, habit, jersey mikes, and Starbucks. It gives me choices, desserts, and coffee all in one place

I actually want to give it a 2.5 stars FORTHEPIZZA. I came here a week ago trying to see what the deal was with all these«make your own» pizza places popping up. My sister actually told me to stay away from this place, and she was somewhat right. But, I was hungry & decided to give it a try. …the pizza was SOGGY. With that, I mean the crust. I didn’t even have a lot of toppings, either. Most of these pizza places have a fire and get it cooking evenly, this place had an oven. I asked the guy to have it well done, he said he couldn’t put it through the oven again. Toppings would fall off my pizza so I had to use a fork & knife for it. Never coming back, will go to Pieolgy or Blaze Pizza or some other joint than Pizza Studio.

I attempted to try Pizza Studio today since it was close to my house and it was just another one of those build-your-own pizza places. Upon visiting, I was excited to try their different types of crusts. What stood out to me was the rosemary herb crust since you don’t have the option to choose the crusts at places like Blaze or Pieology. It’s different from Blaze — instead of a high temperature brick oven, they use a conveyor oven. I ordered a pizza with rosemary herb crust, pepperoni & ham as the meats, and red onions, tomatoes, sliced mushrooms, and green bell peppers as the veggies. I topped off the pizza with basil and cilantro. I took the pizza home and when I opened it, I was truly disappointed. The bottom of the pizza was too greasy and soggy. When I picked up the pizza slices, they weren’t fully cut and most of the toppings fell off. In comparison to Blaze, the crusts are crispy and crunchy — they aren’t even oily at all. I wasn’t impressed by this place and I’m not a fan. If I’m ever craving pizza, Blaze is my go-to place — hands down!

Beware, this location doesn’t participate in the cool promotions pizza studio has every now and then. Give your regular business to another location. Boo! This location bites!

$ 5.99 for a Starving Artist pizza. $ 7.99 if your feeling like a boss and want to go with unlimited toppings. I was feeling more like a starving artist then a boss so I got the $ 5.99 pepperoni. I like how they have tapatio here. I’ve been eating my pizza with tapatio for as long as I can remember so I really appreciate that. This is just like any other chipotle style pizza place. You pick the crust, toppings, it bakes in less than 5 minutes and you’re good to go. Fresh ingredients, fast cooking time, no complaints here. Definitely would recommend trying.

This place is just like every other fast pizza place but worse. My pizza was soggy. 2 toppings and everything fell off the pizza. Husband thought it was okay. Staff is really shitty. They roll their eyes at you. Just very sluggish. Overall poor customer service.

These kind of pizza shops seem like they’re popping up everywhere but Pizza Studio stands out amongst the crowd. One of the biggest differences you’ll notice is that they have multiple crust options. Pick from gluten free, plain, firecracker(spicy), wholewheat with flack seed or rosemary herb. Pick your sauce(red, white, BBQ or pesto) and then add your other meats and veggies. Another unique ingredient to Pizza Studio is potato, now I know what you’re thinking but trust me on this one. Lastly, don’t forget to add the finishing ingredients and a shake or two of seasoning; personally, I like the truffle. As far as the rest of the restaurant goes, the décor is awesome with local artists selling their paintings on the wall. The facility is always clean, the staff is attentive and friendly and there’s plenty of parking in the back. Also, for the more health conscious you can build your own salad using all the same ingredients as the pizza or buy a side salad for less than $ 3.00. If you’ve got a sweet tooth, they’ve got that covered too with a wide selection of sorbets and four different types of cookies.

Pizza Studio will be my favorite pizza joint for a long time. My sister lives in the area, so whenever I’m at her house(which is literally all the time) lol I always run over here because I know I’m going to be satisfied. I get the same order every time, which I totally recommend haha I get firecracker crust with BBQ sauce mozzarella cheese bell peppers pineapples and chicken(I always ask for extra) then to top it off I ask for chipotle seasoning and I always always ask for the drizzle of BBQ sauce when it comes out of the oven. Literally the best pizza ever lol if there are new employees or just not the usual people there, they do mess up, but I don’t mind too much. I do wish they had spinach omg that would put the icing on the cake haha. Parking blows but it’s not their fault. *UPDATE* Oh my gosh my prayers have been answered! THEYHAVESPINACH!!! It is over guys, this is officially my favorite pizza joint!

Located on Orangethorpe and Valley View in a lot packed with other eateries. Parking kind of sucks here during busier times. It’s a typical pizza for $ 7.99 with various crusts and endless toppings to satisfy any palette. I have to admit I wasn’t very impressed. If you’re looking for soggy pizza, you’ve come to the right place. Idk if I just got too many toppings or what but I couldn’t even pick up my pizza it was so soggy. I got 5 toppings and they all just fell off. Tip: They have an email club that gives you points for every dollar you spend.

So one of the habits I’ve picked up since moving to California, is frequenting make-your-own pie restaurants. I normally go to Blaze Pizza since it’s the closest to my house, followed by Pieology, but spending the day at Knotts Berry farm with a short two hour karaōke session in nearby Buena Park found us pointed towards the Pizza Studio. Upon arriving at the Pizza Studio, my initial impression was it will probably be no better than Blaze or Pieology, oh man was I wrong. This was probably the best tasting build your own pizza I’ve had in SoCal. The sauce and dough were perfect and the cheese fresh and chewy. Plain and simple, it was delicious and I would recommend the pies here for sure. Even the hair we found in our Cesar salad didn’t ruin the evening or detract from the pizza. On a side note, the manager was quick to replace the salad and handled it perfectly. WILLBEBACK!

Unilocal challenge 2015268⁄365 Typical fast fired pizza. For $ 7.99 They build it, bake it and you eat it within a few minutes. Typical fast paced assembly line as they create your thin crust masterpiece. Various crusts and endless toppings to satsify any palette. My BBQ chicken pizza was good. A little thin and overcooked for my liking. Hubsters thought it was just alright, which means he didn’t like it. Honestly 5 star pizza is going to take longer than 5 minutes in my book. Located on Orangethorpe and Valley View in a lot packed with other eateries. Usually at peak time there is zero parking. Unless your lucky. Outside eating allows for groups to mingle and mix food choices, while joining together to enjoy their meal. Service waa fast and friendly. Employees are confident explaining the menu and get the pies out fast. #747

Love this place, been back 2 times since going 3 weeks ago, they have so many topping options and they don’t skimp out. Online ordering is nice, although it looks like they missed a topping or two… But since I asked for 10+ toppings, I can’t complain. Their vegan pizza is delicious, I had a sample, but I have made my own pizzas with loads of veggies and pepperoni. Who knew potatoes and broccoli were so good on a pizza?! And for $ 8, great deal, and easily 2 meals for the average person. Also, reheats beautifully in the oven.

Have bin coming to this place for a few visits they have a rewards system which gives you a free pizza after a certain number of points are earned. The place is not to big, not to small but can get crowded on a weekend night. They have a few options as far as crust I went with the original and the firecracker thin crust they load it with toppings and it’s cheaper than going to pieology or pizza studio Only cons was I experienced bad customer service one night now it was just one time but it’s still a con as I was ordering my pizza the man making it would pause and shot at another employee on how to do things(they were closing) and didn’t even stop to say sorry he would pause yell for about 2 minutes then look at me and go is that it! Which was highly rude and unprofessional But besides that if you come here it’s worth it

3.75 stars. Pizza Studio is another variation of the now familiar«Subway-style» assembly line pizza. The dough is heavy oiled, pressed by machine and placed onto perforated baking screens where it is docked(holes are punched) ensuring that there is no viable life left in the dough. The pizzas are then baked in two minutes in a Turbo Chef conveyor oven at 575 °F, the same type of oven used by all the national delivery chains. The thin, oily dough, baked in perforated pans gives the dough a light frying on the bottom(see my undercarriage photo). The toppings were pretty good. We ordered two identical pizzas; one with the plain crust and the other was their rosemary crust. Unfortunately the rosemary overpowered pretty much everything. I’d suggest sticking with their regular dough which was OK, but nothing notable. Overall the pizza was pretty good for what it was and the price was reasonable, but I think I’m completely over the McPizza assembly line thing. The«studio’ part of the operation refers to art works created by local artists for sale. The overall service was very good and the parking at the strip mall was adequate.

Wasn’t impressed at all. I walked in impressed at the choices of the crusts but I got a pizza on Rosemary & Herb with LOTS of Veggies & Chicken & it seriously tasted like NOTHING… even the 3 packets of Pepper Flakes & extra Jalapenos I added to the pizza, tasted like nothing. I will not be back… I’m gonna stay dedicated to Pieology. Oh & my friend had asked for a little more sauce on her pizza, she was told, the amount we put on is perfect, any more would make it soggy. I’m surprised he didn’t fight me when I asked for light sauce.

Another create your own pizza chain, just with even more options! 5 different types of crust, my favorite is the whole gran flax seed which has a nice bite to it, and the rosemary, also full of flavor. The crust is very thin, so if you can’t help yourself and pile on too many toppings like I did, the middle gets soggy. I love topping that other places don’t have like several types of roasted veggies and potatoes. Service was excellent, they have an email club that gives you points for every dollar you spend and sends out coupons. So glad to have them close to home, cheap, fresh and tasty!

As big fans of the recent fast-fired pizza craze we were stoked to see this place opening semi-close to home. We gave Pizza Studio a couple of months before we decided to come over and give it a try and see how it compares to the alternatives. The first thing I will say is the parking in this center absolutely sucks. Good luck ever finding parking in the front and the back also fills up fast. Most of the available parking is often reserved for customers of specific restaurants(El Torito, Marie Callendars etc…) and this can get very frustrating at times. It would almost be easier to park across the street and walk over so I may attempt this next time. The inside of Pizza Studio is relatively small but is setup in a way that they are able to maximize the available seating. The two things I really like about this place above the others are the choices in crust firecracker, rosemary herb & whole grain with flax seed in addition to your traditional and gluten free variations. The choices in sauce and toppings also set Pizza Studio apart as they offer a far more varied amount of veggies and meats(zucchini, genoa salami, sweet chicken sausage and even Jamaican jerk and old bay seasoning salt) then some of the competitors out there. The fact that they had roasted zucchini and garlic powder to top off my pizza was a definite win for me. Where Pizza Studio falls a bit flat for me is in the presentation of the product itself. All of these fast fired pizza joints offer the same type of cooking and build your own pizza experience but Pizza Studio’s pizza was far too flimsy and even with the 4 – 5 toppings I had on my pie the structure of the crust simply crumbled into a heap on the tray. Some of the other places out there can withstand 10 toppings or more and be fine but that was not the case for me here on either of my visits to this point. The staff is nice and I love the fact that they also offer a far more substantial array of desserts from cookies to various sorbets. This is a nice addition and something I will definitely need to try on future visits. The pricing is on point for what you get and the selections are nice but they definitely need to find a way for their crust to withstand the toppings without flopping over. Although not my favorite of the bunch, Pizza Studio is for sure a great alternative and I am sure I will be back many more times to come.
