Came here for juice, ended up staying for breakfast. I had the Elvis Parsley juice, which I honestly loved, and had a basil tomato & feta omelette. There was a TON of basil, and tons of feta. This feta was amazing. Next time I am in Buffalo, I will have to grab a few of the ready made juices for my stay so I can have one every morning. I am only giving 4 stars because of the seating, there is so much empty space that can be used to seat more people. We had to wait for someone to leave to sit down.

Ashker’s freaking juice bar. Pretty hip, if I do say so myself. Without a beard and the whole, short-sides, slicked-back top hairdo, I didn’t quite fit in! But I digress, hipster dives are still pretty cool. First I want to say that the dude who took care of me deserves a raise. What a polite and genuine dude.(They don’t wear name tags, but he had long brown hair and white plugs in his ears). But I’ll get into that in a minute. So first, I got this jar-o-juice which was pretty good. I say pretty good because it was very healthy tasting, but had a few notes of flavor I’m not too keen on. Next time I might be your average simpleton and get a berry smoothie or something more average. Then I awaited my food. This is where unfortunately a star must be retracted. My order never went to the kitchen, so I sat for quite a long time wondering what the hold up was. Now I’m a patient guy, so I waited and waited until I know for certain someone who came in after me got their food. Then the kid I ordered from apologized and assured me he’d take care of it and offered me a free juice, which I politely declined. He was very professional about it though which I very much appreciate. So anyways, I get my food and GOODHEAVENSITWASGOOD. I ordered the«Diner breakfast» which is 2 eggs, bacon, hash browns, and toast, but I sub’d pancakes for the toast. I ALWAYS order my bacon extra crispy and my hash browns burnt. .005% of the time do I receive my bacon/browns the way I want them, but damn, they were perfect. The eggs were perfect also and last but not least, BEST. PANCAKES. EVER. I was in my glory gobbling up those flap jacks. Overall, I’d go again for sure. I understand not every restaurant visit is going to be flawless, and it sure did help that the food and people were awesome. Maybe I’ll get some thick rimmed glasses and a fancy haircut so I blend in a bit better.

Ashker’s is the jam spot. I loved this place when it first opened for the consistent quality and vegetarian friendly menu. I moved away for a few years and when I came back to Buffalo, Ashker’s was even cuter than ever. I love the décor and the staff even more, they are always super friendly. My fav is the Zinger juice.

Met up with some friends for lunch. Had a the veggie hummus wrap. It came with a bean salad on the side. SOGOOD! I felt full but not full because I had a heavy meal. Very satisfied. The infused water with orange and sage was a nice touch. Got some juices to bring home to share with my boyfriend. I had Pumped Up Kicks-it is not too sweet and a lot of different flavors came through. boyfriend had a Zinger. Sweet, and also very good. This is a good place to go with friends for a nice lunch. The juices themselves could be a dessert!

I really enjoyed my blueberry burst smoothie from Ashker’s. I had come in with every intention of getting juice, but I was drawn in my the yogurty goodness of blueberries and pineapple. I was a fan of Ashker’s from the first time I tried them at a Buffalo Unilocal event I was invited to last year(I thinK), and I have been wanting to get into their actual location. The location is small, and I like that they have additional seating in the area to the left. I’m not sure what the story is behind it, but there seems to be a wellness center, but there is additional seating here as well. The staff was friendly and informative, and I loved the little flower to let them know I was waiting for my order. Cute and fun! Next time I’m on Elmwood, I’m sure I’ll be in for some juicy goodness.

One of my favorite spots to hit up when I’m DT! Delicious food, healthy, reasonably priced, chill atmosphere. The sunrise quesadilla is my go to on the menu. For juicing fans they have both cold pressed juices(my preference) and centrifugal pressed juices. If you are interested in learning the differences, you may find this huffpost helpful Juices might not be for everyone, and that is totally fine, they also have smoothies that they make fresh right there in front of you, no added sugars either, and they are fantastic! Have tried several different ones and haven’t found one I don’t like yet. All the drinks come in mason jars which I find particularly charming. They seem to have a strong commitment fir bringing the community together and have tons of different events going on all the time. Anything from open nights to potluck share nights every Wednesday. They recently opened a new location on main street, which I unfortunately have not had the chance to check out yet, but have heard good things! Plus I heard they have salsa dancing ago dying to try that!

This is a really good spot if you want something healthy and delicious! Their smoothies are really yummy. They always have some free fruit/vegetable infused water available(self-serve). This place isn’t anything too fancy, it’s a nice place if you want to sit and hang out. You have to walk up to order. I guarantee you though, you won’t regret coming here because the food is just awesome and fresh.

Why did I wait so long to actually come here?!? I’ve had the juice before at a Unilocal event buy haven’t been in the village lately so didn’t get a chance to pop in and try it out for real. Wow! First, how adorable is this place! Second I believe they are expanding next door into what looks like a really cool wellness type of venue. l complete w chiropractor. I love how the juices are displayed and served in the mason jars. Something so charming about that… I would pay 10.00 for this mason jar juice! Anyway tonight I had the golden child juice – hints of turmeric and beets… but all kinds of other deliciousness too. I truly enjoyed my experience here and will be back when I am in the area!

If it wasn’t for Ashker’s smoothies I would probably have scurvy. I’m not a big fan of vegetable juices so I can’t speak to their cold pressed juice. Their house coffee and espresso is so-so but their cold brewed Mexican style coffee is excellent — strong, smooth, will cure even the worst case of the Mondays. Their smoothies are not sweet, a little tart and made with high quality ingredients. You can order off of the menu or create your own, they do use house pressed apple juice as a base for a lot of the smoothies but you can ask to substitute orange juice. You can create a custom smoothies — pineapple, peach, raspberry, yogurt w/OJ and yogurt is my personal favorite combination. Other notably tasty smoothies are the Pina Colada and Raspberry Rush. Don’t let the sometimes seemingly insane line out the door discourage you from waiting, the line moves fast and the turn around is quicker then you would expect — the guys and gals behind the counter are great, awesome customer service.

Ashker’s is one of our go-to spots in Elmwood Village. The food is consistently good and the juices are great. It’s often difficult to find parking in this area, so if you can walk or bike or something, I’d recommend it. There’s a decent amount of seating– even more if weather’s nice and the front patio area is open– but it can get very busy. It’s especially busy weekend mornings. That’s because they have excellent breakfasts. The breakfast scramble is delicious and inexpensive– only around $ 5. Other than breakfast, my girlfriend usually orders a chicken caesar salad or caesar wrap that she loves. I like the Mediterranean tuna and grilled Italian vegetable salads. As for juices, I like anything with ginger, such as the Zinger or Ruby Bliss. The last couple times I’ve come to Ashker’s during what I thought was non-busy hours. One of the times, I expected to do work while my girlfriend read. On both occasions, someone was playing on the piano very loudly(not relaxing but like pounding on the keys) and another there was a similarly distracting music situation happening. I understand that the space is used for many purposes, it’s just difficult to enjoy yourself or concentrate during those times. Several years ago, this was the site of «Comfort Zone Café,» a small coffee shop where I used to do work in college. Maybe I’m holding on to some nostalgia!

I had lunch here today with my best friend after we took a class at BikeorBar down the street. Since we had such a good workout I wanted something healthy. I ordered the black bean burger wrap with an unsweet tea. It was super delicious. Probably the best black bean burger I had. The wrap was very fresh and all the flavors complimented each other. My best friend did not go the healthy route and ordered the French toast. She loved it. I look forward to making a habit of stopping by here after a good workout.

I’ve been coming to Ashker’s since hey opened and had the little flower carts. This place is a favorite of mine. Offhand, their juices and smoothies look pricey but it’s totally worth it to me. My favorite are the fusion smoothies, especially the Blushing Emerald. Their breakfast options are delicious. I’ve had most of them; I really enjoy their quesadillas and the steak salad. The coffee is good and they pair well with the scones. Sometimes the line is long, but I’ve rarely been kept waiting for too long. A perk of this place is that they have a conference room you can rent out for free to hold meetings with maximum of 8 people. Before renting out the room, be sure to find out if any events are going on because it’s hard to hear what’s going on in the conference room if there is an open mic night going on.

What do I say about that place that hasn’t already been covered? This place is a blessing in all forms. Here’s some scenarios that might end with the answer, «Ashker’s.» 1. Where do you find the freshest most dishes? 2. Where do you get a plethora of diet choices that all eat under one roof? 3. Where is the day most enjoyable in the heart of Elmwood? 4. Hangover? 5. Feeling like eating organic, delicious and healthy food? 6. The best kinds of smoothies and juice choices? I mean, you’re seriously not a true Buffalonian if you haven’t stepped in here. ’nuff said.

It saddens me to write this review. I was expecting so much more. The first time I experienced Asker’s was at the Unilocal Without Borders event and I was in love. I am now, only somewhat in love. The juice was still phenomenal! I had the watermelon, lemon, cucumber, pineapple blend. How could that not be good! The atmosphere is very relaxed and casual, which I prefer. Local artists can showcase their work along the walls. Ball Mason jars are not only used to showcase the juice but also as light fixtures which really tie in the whole feel of the venue. Where I was not impressed… the food. I ordered the chicken and roasted red pepper Panini. I am 50⁄50 on this and here is why. The first half, not very good. Not bad but the chicken was a little dry and it only had two tiny pieces of sautéed red onion and red pepper. When I was done eating the first half, I almost threw away the other but was still hungry. The second half was amazing! Somehow all my onion and red pepper was in the second half of my sandwich. The cheese was melted perfectly and you really could taste all the different components. Next to my sandwich in my take out container were some white beans, lettuce and kale. There was absolutely zero flavor to this side. Maybe it is supposed to have a dressing on it? I also asked for a side of balsamic dressing which I did not receive. I will be back to give Ashker’s another try.

I really like Ashkers! I’ve gotten a couple different paninis, a wrap, and a salad and they’ve all been pretty good. The real reason you go to Ashkers however is for their juices. There isn’t one juice that I’ve tried that I didn’t like. You can get all fruit juices, all veggie juices, or a combination of both. All fresh ingredients are used in both their juices and their food and they try to use organic when they can, which is never a bad thing. They also have delicious breakfast, I definitely recommend trying the waffle. Ashkers is such a cute little place on Elmwood. I Especially like going and cooling off with a smoothie after a hot yoga session! Friendly staff and very helpful if you’re a first timer at Ashkers. Highly recommend stopping in for food or even just a juice!

Ashkers is my favorite place in Buffalo(hence my 30+ check-ins). I’ve watched it evolve from a little hole in the wall to what it is today. The vibe in this juice bar/restaurant is electric and unlike anything else in Buffalo. Recently the owners had local interior designers come in to do their magic, and that really is what it is. The aesthetic is natural, pure and slightly modern. The juice is unmatchable! You can get cold pressed(which is my recommendation — because you get the most nutritional benefit from it) or centrifuged juice which is still tasty and more affordable. A neat incentive that Ashkers does is if you buy a cold pressed juice and return the mason jar which it comes in, then you receive a voucher for a dollar off your next juice. Now the food!!! So amazing as well! Fresh and local products. They have a staple menu, but they also offer daily specials(which I have today! Tuna Melt!) The staff is just an amazing addition and probably what keeps this place alive. It’s a younger crowd, mostly hipsters, but everyone I’ve talked to(and I love to talk to everyone) is super genuine and kind.

Ashker’s is right near my friend’s house, so we stop in any time I’m visiting. On the last visit, I had a bacon egg and cheese on an everything bagel which was delicious, and the special mint mojito juice. It was super fresh and tasty. We were about to head out, and I ordered a zinger to go, but wanted it freshly pressed… I know that is a high-maintenance request, and I did feel a bit shunned when I ordered it. They were busy(as usual) but the juice alone took about 10 – 15 minutes to arrive, and they forgot my friend’s latte. Typically service is very friendly and as fast as you can expect with the crowds. I will most definitely be back again and again.

Love Ashker’s for any and every meal of the day. It’s a fresh, healthy and delicious choice for whatever you’re in the mood for. I have tried basically all of their juices and smoothies and you cannot go wrong. My absolute favorites are the green machine juice and the raspberry rush smoothie. They also have fruit infused waters in case you’re not feeling a juice or a smoothie. When I want a bite to eat I usually go for a salad because the chicken they add to it is just divine. Blackened, crispy, and juicy is more than I can ask for. I love both the Greek Grilled Chicken Salad and the Grilled Italian Vegetable Salad. All salads come with delicious grilled flatbread on the side. If you haven’t gone to Ashker’s, you’re long overdue. Also, if you usually have a go-to choice and they have a special that’s catching your eye on the board, get it. It’s guaranteed to be good.

I absolutely love this place so much that I’m giving you guys 10 tips at the bottom of this review to help you with your Ashkers experience. I think you’ll find that you love Ashkers too once you visit! Lol I’ve been coming here for three years and tried just about everything on the menu. All the wraps, panini’s, salads, breakfast foods, juices, smoothies and fusions(veggie/fruit smoothies) are delicious! They sometimes have fresh coconut, chocolate chip scones available, give them a try you won’t be disappointed! Regardless, if you’re looking for quick, healthy eat, Ashkers is the spot to check out on Elmwood in the city! This is the only place around I can come and get a Green Machine(spinach, green apple, cucumber & celery — slightly different everywhere) I crave them, love their juices. Would rather drink a juice than eat my daily serving of vegetables and the juices taste much better. They’re not organic but they do use fresh local produce here and that makes me happy! The people who run the place are awesome and the staff changes regularly but they always hire some great people. They always remember me and call me by name. This place gets busy in the summer and during prime meal hours. Super busy on Sunday’s for breakfast/brunch but they’re still great at getting people their orders as quickly as possible. I have recommended several people to eat here and all love it! Some things that might be helpful for you to know: 1. The menu’s are at the counter. Sometimes they put specials up on the erase boards above the counter. If there is a line, walk up and grab the menu on the counter, then get back in line, so you don’t make everyone wait forever for you to order. 2. They have water fused with cucumbers, basil, etc. off to the side, usually next to the coffee. It’s free, help yourself. 3. They have free wifi but you need to ask staff for the password. 4. People bring their laptops and sit for several hours working on them and anyone is welcomed to do that. Someone gave a review earlier that he couldn’t sit and do homework or something, that’s a lie. 5. The area off the right is usually a seating area, sometimes events are held there(free Zumba, artistic displays, musicians etc.). There are restrooms in both dinning areas. 6. If you want to leave a tip, walk up to the counter and put it in the mason jar. 7. Wait staff doesn’t usually does not come up to you to check and see if your meal is okay because they’re always very busy, don’t wait for them, it’s best to grab their attention or walk up to the counter and ask for help. 8. If you’re going to sit outside, let the cashier know when you’re ordering so the wait staff can find you to give you your order. 9. Any problems with your meal, the owners will redo it or fix it however you like it. I’ve had little problems here or there and they’ve always fixed my order and even gave me a gift card for another future meal. Don’t pout and complain on Unilocal, let them fix your concern, great people here! 10. Lastly, just want to add that this place is always updating their facility so it doesn’t always look quaint and cozy but I personally would prefer to have quality food than a perfect dinning setting. My tip here is, shut up about what the place looks like and enjoy the food!

Delicious! What a great spot! I started going to Ashker’s when I started going to hot yoga at Evolation Yoga, two blocks down. Their food is amazing. It always comes out hot and fresh. I have been practicing some clean eating habits and Ashker’s food is nevery greasy and overly seasoned. Their smoothies are delicious and their juicer is no joke. They always have fresh squeezed juice on display in ready to go mason jars by the cashier so you can quickly grab and go. If you bring the mason jar back, you get $ 1 off your next juice. And believe me, when they are charging $ 6 a juice, you want to bring that mason jar back. Foodwise, I have had their omelets, breakfast hash, salads and panini. This is one of the few places my boyfriend and I can still go since we went paleo. Their food is very healthy and I really enjoy going here, ESPECIALLY after hot yoga for a refreshing smoothie/juice. They also serve flavored water on the side(cucumber, basil, citrus, etc.) which is also deliciously refreshing. I highly recommend coming here. Now that it is nice out, try their outdoor seating!
