One of my favorite Saturday treats if I have the opportunity. Once only at The Farm Shop, now at numerous farmers markets and other shops around town. The croissants are my favorite, simply classic. But their pain au chocolat, buttery Oreos and seasonal brioche are all amazing too. The care and flavor that goes into each bite… Allows you to slow down and really enjoy the moment.

I picked up some of their croissants one Sat morning. I happened to be at the Farm Shop for some of their yogurt at the right moment. There was basically a line forming for the baked goods so of course I picked some of those up too. They were fantastic. I’ve been back since a number of times for those croissants. They are not cheap but they are terrific. I never remembered to get the name of the baker, but today they were reviewed in Gusto. It’s a team of bakers that sell only a few places in town and don’t have a store of their own. They sell croissants, pain au chocolate, brioche and more Saturday’s, but other days they make things that make sense with what’s in season. They even have a version of a pop tart that is fantastic. Ive never had a «real» poptart, but I’m confident they are not as good as this one. If you come across their goods I encourage you to pick some up. They sell out fast and don’t always have the same things available. All these talented bakers in Buffalo. It’s serious competition, which we, the consumers, benefit from greatly as everyone«ups their game» to keep up and stay on top. We are getting the kind of baked goods where«one is enough», they leave you satisfied. Like good chocolate, if it’s good enough, one satisfies. Worth the price.
