Casey’s is always a fun time. The bartenders make you feel so welcomed. Good music, darts, corn hole, quick draw… I always leave happy.

I stopped into this corner bar to go to a friends stag — the event was held in the back room — but the bar was a nice typical corner bar. They did have one or two craft beers but this is mostly a macro beer and shot joint.

Pretty good place, a bit small. we go here for fish fries once in awhile. The fish itself it good, but the breading/batter doesn’t stay on at all and it’s a bit oily. Pretty good food though, and service is great. Very nice waitresses. Cash only though, so come prepared or use the ATM there.

A great neighborhood bar in the Black Rock section of the city. Always found the prices reasonable. Haven’t eaten there, but have noticed others enjoying what they’ve gotten. Caters to a mixed crowd, a lot of blue collar and working class. Bartenders? FRIENDLY. A definite place I enjoy to return to.

I went there on a quiet Monday night with a group of people. The bar is quite spacious with a long wooden bar, plenty of stools and a good sized back room with casual dining tables. The place is a bit of a dive, but I suppose that is part of it’s charm. It’s actually quite clean and so are the bathrooms. We ordered several pitchers of Yingling at $ 7 each. Not bad. Our bartender was extremely friendly and conversational. They offer a decent menu of bar food too. We did not eat so I cannot comment on the food. I’d certainly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a place to enjoy a few beverages in the Black Rock area. They have a parking lot, which is a huge plus.

Tried Casey’s after seeing some online ratings for their fish fry. As a party of 4, we ordered two fish fry and two baked. I tried both of them and rate them as some of the best fish meals I have ever had. It was easily the best fish fry I have ever had. They have an excellent coating on the fry that does not overpower the fish. The cole slaw is made with a vinegar base and is the best cole slaw I have ever had. Not to mention the fun, friendly atmosphere. We instantly felt welcome in this local spot. This also took place during a very busy Friday night during the Lent season when quality tends to drop on local fish frys. We will definitely be going back again soon.

i’ve been coming here pretty much my whole life. located in ‘downtown black rock’, they have the best fish fry in buffalo. bar/restaurant that serves slices of rye bread before dinner, can’t beat that! service is usually pretty friendly. go early on a friday or you will definitely have to wait for a table. but you can grab a drink at the bar while you wait. besides the fish fry, the have typical buffalo bar food. never had anything there i didn’t like.

Not the cleanliest place on Earth. But the wings are 30 cents and are really gooooooood.
