Marco’s Pizza

Please note — I am giving this place 5 stars as compared to other pizza chains in the same class… Pizza Hut, Dominos, Little Cesar’s, Papa Johns, etc.
As compared to other similar pizza places, I think this place has the best quality by far. Chicken products actually resemble and taste like chicken. Cheese is good. I honestly have no complaints as far as chain pizza places go. Folks are friendly.
I’ve ordered from there a couple times due to the convenient location, and will continue to.

The wings are soggy, nasty and will turn your stomach. It haves a pre boiled taste, which is really salty. Save your money and go else wear. Customer service was nice, so I give it one star.

If you’re a Buffalonian and you find yourself eating pizza from Marco’s or places like Papa Johns and you enjoyed it, I’m sorry but there’s definitely something wrong with your taste buds and if you’re giving reviews, you should stop.
My uncle ordered Marco’s the other night because he had a coupon and so I tried a slice of their pizza with cheese and pepperoni and it was super salty and greasy, just plain gross in my opinion. I didn’t even want a second slice and I was hungry.
This location is surrounded by at least three other local pizzerias that I can think of and all three spots serve great pizza, way better than Marco’s and walking distance away. Eat local people!

This pizza was actually pretty darn good. My buddy saw it driving by and suggested we try it. Why not. You can compare it to somewhere like Papa John’s, same kind of place but even better.
We ordered delivery and just like the website said they showed up earlier then the time they told us. We got the «Pepperoni Magnifico» pizza, one of their specialties. It had two kinds of pepperoni and roman seasonings on it. I was pleasantly surprised how good it was. You can choose between classic crust or crispy crust so we got the crispy. The crust and the pepperoni were both quite crispy and delicious.
We also got some parmesan breadsticks and they were phenomenal, and you get a pretty good amount of them. They were fluffy and full of flavor and loaded with cheese.
I don’t think they have wings but at a place like this they don’t need them. They probably wouldn’t be very good anyways. They might have boneless wings but I’m not positive.
Another thing that was a little out of the ordinary was that when ordering online it asked us if we wanted a movie delivered with the pizza! Kind of cool. It must be because it’s inside a Family Video. I’ve never seen something like that before.
All in all we had a good experience and will definitely order from there again. I know I’ve said it before that I don’t really like chains but I do make a few exceptions once in a while!

We love ordering from Marco’s. Online ordering is very simplistic, it WORKS, and all the customizing options are there. Click, click, BAM! Order is in. We haven’t gotten a bad pie from there yet (knock on wood)! Delivery is always prompt, usually a few minutes BEFORE their estimate. In fact, I’m usually caught off guard by the delivery guy. We went on vacation for a week, and it received a phone call from them saying that they missed us since we hadn’t order in a while. (10 days is a while??). I thought is was a great gesture.
Say what you will about the whole chain vs. Local argument, but we really enjoy Marco’s and plan to keep ordering from there.

I’m a huge fan of Marco’s pizza.
I think it is important to note, however, that I am not originally from Buffalo and this isn’t your typical Buffalo pizza. Consider your pizza preferences and read this review accordingly.
Reasons why I love Marcos
(and my husband has limited the frequency with which we can order to once-​a-​week)
1. I really like that they offer two types of pepperoni: Pepperoni and Old-​World Pepperoni.
We go with the Old-​World. When cooked, this is the pepperoni that curls up into a little grease-​bowl with the delightfully crispy edges.
We also go with double pepperoni because I like a little pepperoni in every bite.
2. I like the optional, free crust toppers, which include Parm, Garlic, and Roma.
We get the parm.
3. They offer three crusts, thin, classic, and thick.
We order the thin crust AND IT IS MY FAVORITE.
If you’ve ever had a Donatos pizza (midwestern chain) and miss it as much as I do, this is as close to Donatos as I have found.
It’s not thin in the same way as Romeo and Juliet’s pizza because of the size and crispiness.
4. You can order online.
5. You get free movies from Family Video (attached) with an order of a large pizza.
6. We live close so we always pick up, but I’m told that if you have it delivered, they will also deliver whatever movie you want or return anything that is still sitting on your coffee table from your last movie night.
7. Cost-​effective.
There are always coupons and the free movie deal is great if you, like me, still enjoy wandering around a movie rental store instead streaming from netflix /​amazon prime /​etc.
For me, because I have been in search of non-​Buffalo pizza for almost three years, this is as good as it gets.

Had to wait longer than they told me. I got a supreme pizza, it was undercooked. The pizza was limp not crispy at all. I won’t be returning.

Wife wanted us to try this place over the weekend since we were gonna rent a movie next door. I figured it can’t be that bad so let’s go for it. We ordered a small sub and bread sticks for her and i got am antipasto and a bunch of wings for us to share. The wings were ridiculous… ridiculously awful! They are baked yes I said baked. This is buffalo. Chicken wings are not baked. On top of that they coat them in rice flour which I suppose is to make them crispy but it doesn’t. It just makes a messy putty like substance appear on the wings. We won’t be going back

This place just opened up recently and while shopping for a movie my boyfriend just haddddd to get a slice. Nonetheless a slice turned into a whole pie and what girlfriend can withstand the smell of pizza enough not to try it? It was standard pizza but it was 50% off. A pie was $ 4! I’m not sure how long the opening specials will last but the pizza was decent. I just think it’s hilarious that we fell to the exact goal of this location: we showed up for a movie and walked our with pizza too! Haha
