If I was stranded on a desert and only had mighty to eat I would hope it came with a drink to wash down all the sand I would eat.

Sigh… it makes me sad to write this review. I have loved Mighty for years, often telling out of towners that this is the place to go when they mention Taco Bell. I’m not sure why Mighty has made changes over the years, but in my opinion they are not for the best. Something in my order typically comes out wrong and I just don’t have the energy to ask for a do-over. Chicken is typically overdone and dry. They have changed some of the items they use. The beans used to be a delicious, and somewhat healthier, alternative then some of the other menu items. I find them almost unpalatable now. The only reason they are getting 2 stars is because I am absolutely in love with their hot sauce. Thanks for selling it in a bottle now Mighty… i’ll make my tacos at home.

My fast food favorite! I’m hooked on the nachos deluxe, super mighty and cherry empanada! Obviously not a healthy choice but it sure does taste good! Cheap & convenient

The«Mighty Tango» is the powerful dance they do in Argentina. I’d rather Tango with a 80-year-old man that keeps grabbing my intimate areas, that eat Mighty Taco. You’d have to force-feed it to me. Although you might like that too much. Or maybe I would. This was the Mighty Taco that I was force-fed more than any other. When I started Unilocaling I reviewed a lot of the late night MTs around town that I tried after concerts and nights out, but I neglected the one I visited the most… because I lived right next to it… and so would often be picking stuff up here for the people I care about(but apparently not enough to stop them eating this junk). It seriously made me run to the bathroom every single time I ate it. The minced beef they use in everything is one of the worst tasting things I’ve ever had in my mouth. Even moreso than the 80 year old guy from the opening paragraph. Oh crap I just gave away the truth about my night job. Edit: I’m adding a star because I forgot they have a Vegan menu. That, you have to admit, is super cool.

I go here about twice a year. Seems its just to remind me why I dont frequent the place more often. The chili nachos tasted more like a bland pasta sauce. Yuck. Jims steak out has better tacos… and they arent even trying. The two stars is for their fountain pepsi. LEGIT.

This place was described as «a lot like Taco Bell.» I agree with the general sentiment, but it probably rates a little lower than that for me. The menu was not as diverse as Taco Bell’s, but they had a lot of choices nonetheless. Most of it was your standard Mexican fare, I went with the chicken tacos. Mind you, it was hard to tell the difference between the ground chicken and the ground beef, they looked pretty much the same(and the chicken was cheaper…).

Mighty Taco recently updated their menu to include a whole meatless section to cater to vegetarians and vegans which piqued my interest. Vegan fast food?! That’s new. The vegan burrito comes at around $ 3.00 and features refried breans, peppers, lettuce and you can add guacamole to it for only $ 0.50 or so. You can also opt to get it on a wheat tortilla. I ordered it via the drive-thru and was pleasantly surprised. For $ 3, I got what I feel was a pretty healthy and satisfying meatless meal. Medium had a nice kick to it too. Good for them for diversifying their menu! I’m not a vegan, but sometimes I want something healthy and meatless and this hit the spot.

I don’t think people who are not from Western New York can truly appreciate Mighty Taco. It is basically Buffalo’s version of Taco Bell. I think the quality is a bit better than Taco Bell — a bit less mass produced. But let’s be clear, this is cheap fast food. It has a drive-thru and you can get an entire filling meal for $ 5. For me, the Nachos Deluxe is really where it is at. It’s tortilla chips with cheese sauce, salsa, ground beef and sour cream. It’s great. I like to swap the beef for refried beans and add lettuce, tomato and gaucamole. If you are not from here or didn’t grow up eating it, you will probably find it disgusting. And you might be right. Who knows. I find myself craving it once or twice a month. They even ship their Mighty Tacos around the country frozen, so that should tell you the kind of dedicated following this place has.

This is americanized, wannabe mexican fast food. We came in and ordered 6 burritos, 1 taco, and 1 empenada with apple filling and it was less than $ 20 — — there were 6 of us eating! The bean and cheese burritos come with beans, lettuce, and a small amount of tomatoes with sauce(you choose — mild, medium, or hot). They are supposed to come with cheese(however, I didn’t see any cheese in my burrito, but it may just be a very very very small amount of cheese). We ordered one burrito(for my pre-schooler) that I specifically ordered with beans and cheese only, but it was still made with tomatoes and lettuce…(disappointing since my little one refused to eat it). That being said, the flour tortillas were soft and fresh and the sour cream(in the tacos and burritos) was fresh and«amped» up the flavor overall. The empanadas were just a rolled up flour tortillas with apple pie filling baked with cinnamon sugar on top. It was good but reminded me of McD’s apple pies. Overall, I wouldn’t mind going back — burritos were about 1.50 and the tacos were less than $ 1 and the food isn’t bad. But, I wouldn’t go out of my way to eat here…

I know we’re way north of the border, but seriously? A slice of cheese on the bottom with ground beef on top? Might be good after the bars, but otherwise, no f’n way.

«Taco, burrito, what’s coming out of your speedo? Trouble! Trouble!» — SNL Spartan Cheerleaders. The only thing mightier than these tacos is a myocardial infarction. Truth be told– this is far from Mexican and is a bastardized version of the cultural culinary it claims to represent. You can add chilies, tortilla chips, over-processed salsa and grade D salty meat while you slap a name on a mound of lettuce and cheese… it’s still a Mexican insult. Just because you add the suffix –ito doesn’t make it Mexican. P. S. Could you decrease the amount of salt in your food– by a pillar perhaps. Incase you didn’t get the memo– the CDC and the surgeon general advocate less sodium in the American diet.

This is one of the most consistent MTs. A must stop when visiting for me. The hot sauce is the«business». The old stand-by —mighty pack!

If you want high quality Mexican, you’re at the wrong place. Mighty is dirt cheap yet incredibly delicious. Whenever I don’t know what I want, I always go for Mighty Taco. It never gets old.

This Mighty recently closed and moved about two buildings away from 3190 to 3140 Niagara Falls Boulevard. Rating one Mighty is basically like rating them all(except there was that really sketchy one in Tonawanda which has also since relocated to a nicer building) This is the food that I have to eat every trip home to Buffalo. Recommend: Nacho Deluxe(with no meat — I mean, the meat is fine I just don’t eat beef)
