After seeing all of the news about a rodent infestation and listening to the blithering idiots in charge of this place make excuse after excuse, on top of lie after lie, I’ll take my business elsewhere! Disgusting!

After watching a segment on TV for Redlinski’s Meats I decided to visit the store for their hot dogs. They are the BEST!!! I don’t plan on buying any other brands from now on. Cost a bit more but worth every penny! Such a difference!

Do you Buffalonians know how lucky you are? Do you!?! As a Buffalo ex-pat living in the midwest, a place where people pronounce kielbasa«kolbassy» and pierogi«per-o-gee», I’ve come to appreciate the pork perfection of Redlinski’s. This is a Buffalo gem! So while some people appreciate the dark red gleam imparted by a heaping helping of FDC red #40, true Polskas love the fact that we can get real smoked kielbasa with marjoram, eye watering horseradish and darn near perfect bologna and fresh kielbasa. I miss you Redlinski’s. Someone send me a care package.

My family has been using Redlinski for generations. If you want customer service, GOELSEWHERE. The staff is generally most friendly and helpful but the owner is as cheap and abrasive as they come if theres a problem that might affect two cents of his«bottom line» By and large they do have many quality products you just dont see anymore. Their own ham off the bone cannot be beat. However, if you ever have an issue with any of their products, too bad! Ive learned over the years that theres no sense bringing any issues to the owners attention and that the fact of the matter is on the not-so-rare occasions when the product is substandard, you have just gambled your money and lost. Have purchased pierogis that were as old and dried out as hockey pucks and steaks whose«marbelling» turned out to actually be gristle. And whatever you do STAYAWAY from the«managers special» or «Oops! we made too much» in-store promotions. My experience with these is apparently old stock as they go rancid almost immediately. If you dare to mention it to the guy he always has some kind of insult to your intelligence like«we dont use preservatives». While Im sure thats true and even laudable, you cant tell me a fresh steak wont keep for 36 hrs in my new SubZero fridge. If you need more evidence of just how greedy this guy is, just note that he even has a minimum purchase requirement for poor people on food stamps!

Went here for homemade, handmade pirogi & got what I wanted. Seems that pirogi done this way are slowly becoming a lost art — let’s face it folks, Mrs T’s mass produced, frozen & boxed dumplings just don’t compare to those made at Redlinski’s or the Broadway Market. Anyway, the service was friendly & fast & they taste great when I sautee ‘em with shallots!

For older Polish Americans, the smoked(Polish) sausage is the best around. If you are accustomed to Hillshire Farms Pseudo Sausage –DON“T COMEHERE. If you want the real deal, well, this is the place. Other than having a sometimes thick casing the sausage is consistently good with respect to spicing. While we are talking, try the in house made P and P loaf. Or better yet, buy the best hard salami in the world — Circle U. Sliced on zero. And they will slice on zero.

+ Friendly Service — Terrible tasting Polish Sausage I was in here this past Saturday and although the service was good, the Polish sausage was just terrible when I cooked it. I don’t know what it is about their meats. They all seemed a very light pink color. I’m used to seeing dark red smoked meats but this place doesn’t seem to smoke the meats that much. The polish sausage was very fatty and tasted so strange. I will not be going back.
