I have to at least give three stars though I seriously doubt it’s really worth it. However, they treated me extremely nice — as I went when they were closed — to wait for my wife who was attending a conference. Though they were closed — I was given a large diet Coke for free and was told I could sit back and relax while I waited. The three staff that were there carried on a nice conversation and I actually enjoyed my little stay and chat! I find that the friendly you are — the friendlier they are! This review is entirely based on the staff though and their ability to make me feel welcomed even after hours!

Located on the ground floor of the seriously dated Millennium Hotel it’s pretty much what you might expect, being average Two to Three Star food and service. I only ate here because it’s the only place nearby for a to get a quick lunch or breakfast without having to go to the nearby Galleria Mall or make a dangerous on foot crossing on the four lane Walden Avenue. Breakfast is from 6:30 to 11:00AM and lunch from 11:00AM until 2:00PM. You can expect to see plenty of Canadians who stay at the Millennium in order to get bargain shopping deals unavailable to them in Canadian and who are taking advantage of promotions and deals offered to them by the hotel. I had a cup of their Buffalo Chili and their Beef on Weck. The chili was ok as was their Beef on Weck, however, if no where near the quality of flavor available at Charlie the Butcher’s Kitchen on Werhle or Schwable’s in West Seneca. However, I’ll go Three Stars but only because they do attempt, though feebly so, to be in keeping with the goodness of what is a cuisine unique to Buffalo.

Rooms are very outdated and dirty — requested housekeeping only one out of three days during our stay — considering our room only had to be cleaned one time during our stay — none of the trash was emptied, a dirty rag was left on the counter, no vacuuming or dusting. Rugs dirty. Tub caulking mildewed, ran out of toilet paper. Towels not replaced with cleaning — other rooms put their dirty towels and trash in the hallway. No refrigerator in room. No assistance with luggage. Have to pay to use computer in lobby. The pool area is very nice. None of the housekeeping staff spoke English or could understand even the simplest request. Pricey for the service, facilities and atmosphere. I liked the location and the free breakfast each morning. Front desk staff were hot and cold.

When you’re attending a professional conference at a hotel and have an hour for lunch, most of the time you’ve just got to eat at the hotel restaurant. And, most of the time hotel restaurants are just so-so. This was no exception. Sure, we were given 15% off coupons on our note pads. And, the waiter was very nice and didn’t even appear to mind giving eight of us seated at the table(who had never met before… who wants to figure out how to split THAT bill?) separate checks. My burger was a burger. No more, no less. The size was fine and it was properly cooked. But, the roll was a bit soggy, the tomato anemic, and the sauteed onions had a slightly«funky» taste. The cheese(cheddar) was not adequately melted so I was able to see that it was the shredded kind(like out of a bag). The fries were nice and hot and crisp though. Would I go back if I wasn’t attending a conference? No. The next time I’m attending a conference at this hotel will I feel the need to bring a packed lunch? No. Sometimes that’s as good as it gets.

Very dated hotel, a bit fascinating though. Huge display in water pool with fountains welcomes you in lobby. There is a huge indoor atrium filled with rubber plants & trees with swimming pool connected to a bar so you can drink to forget where you are. It was the only place for an early breakfast Thanksgiving morning. The service was nice and efficient. The breakfast was typical hotel. Nothing horrible, it satisfied.

We ate here since we were staying at the millenium hotel and were given $ 100 credit for food for 4 people. The place had great food as it was cooked well. My moms stuffed chicken breast was moist and juicy and my filet mignon was cooked to perfection and was extremely tender. Buffalo wings were pretty good, but the French onion soup as pretty salty. The picatta sole dish was kinda stingy on portions and not that flavorful. The dessert was excellent. The specialty is the chocolate bomb. It has chocolate cake, mousse, and raspberry filling. Because this place is inside a hotel, it was not busy and the waitress said it never really is busy, there was a max of 4 tables while as were there. The good part is that the personal service matches the great fine dining experience.
