So I went to longhorn yesterday with my bf and 2 friends. The dinner was fine but my friend had a beetle in her salad! And they didn’t even give us a discount on dinner or anything! That is unacceptable and won’t go back there. Texas Roadhouse has better food anyway

If you want a TGI Fridays type meal. Come here folks. Completely different meal than an Outback Steak House. The place is a clown show, very loud and the workers run around with their heads cut off. Still it’s an average chain and they need to work on making Longhorn great again.

Well, I’ll say this. It’s good. It’s not great. But it’s good. I’m not a fan of the prices but as my girls say«good service isn’t cheap and cheap service isn’t good.». They’re right. They’re always right. And they make me feel good. Anyways, I liked the shrimp. Salad was just a salad, like I could pull weeds out of the ground and make a better one but hey I don’t work in food business anymore ever since my accident. Other than that the steak was good but my grill master brother can make a better one. Service was good.

The food is very delicious, the reason for my 3 stars is because all three times I ate her, I got sick immediately after. I only order the crusted chick parm dinner and I do love the flavor and taste but can longer eat here because of how ill I get after. Maybe I will try the steak even though i am not a steak eater.

If you like belt buckles, horns and overweight patrons this place is for you. The salad was an absolute joke. Bottom of the barrel iceberg lettuce with cucumbers sliced up like they were fn chopped onions. Who does that? I’m not impressed with your«chopping» «skills» pal. The flo’s filet, although the name sucks, is a solid choice. The service was good tho.

I would give no stars if I could ordered the new steak friets that are supposed to come with one side however was informed by server that the fries were the side never heared of that before so I just got up and left my co driver stayed and had napa grilled chicken and said that he was not satisfied and never will dine there again

¾ family members had fevers, vomiting and diarrhea after eating here. They closed the restaurant for a sanitizing this week. We were disappointed that they ignored our call. If they took our concern seriously, less people would likely have gotten sick.

Probably one of the better chain steakhouse… I didn’t get any bread at our table… ordered my usually flo filet(mid-rare) with mashed potatoes– streak was cooked right and mashed potatoes were fluffy. The French onion was good, but it wasn’t hot enough when it came to the table, and there was a ton of melted cheese on top which I didn’t mind. I’m sure I’ll be back

I hate going to chain restaurants, but it wasn’t my pick. However, I was more impressed than I anticipated. I had the lunch combo with a chicken avocado sandwich and lobster bisque. Sandwich was awesome… served on a flatbread. Soup wasn’t too great… tasted like typical chainy soup, far from fresh. Loved the blackberry iced tea. My client ordered broccoli for her side dish and it looked perfectly cooked and she indicated it was well seasoned. Normally, I am hesitant of a vegetable side dish for fear of mush. Would I choose to come back again… probably not. Mainly because there are too many great restaurants in the area to resort to a chain. Plus, I don’t eat red meat so m options are limited.

We had a gift card and gave Longhorn a try. It’s an attractive and comfortable restaurant so I have to complement them on the ambience. My wife ordered prime rib and I had the porterhouse. I also ordered a wedge salad, but the salad was not a true wedge salad, which is a wedge of a head of iceberg lettuce that you can cut into with a knife. This«wedge» salad was several strips of lettuce leaves laid across a plate topped with the normal wedge accompaniments but I felt it should not have been advertised as a wedge salad because it failed to meet the definition of a wedge salad. My porterhouse was good. Not great, but good. It was a bit unevenly cooked. My wife’s prime rib, also serviceable, average. Obviously, you can’t compare Longhorn to the best local steakhouses or upscale chains such as Morton’s or Ruth’s Chris. They aren’t trying to be exactly that. However, the food, to us, was not as good as Texas Roadhouse and no better than Outback. It just looks a little nicer. I wouldn’t say to avoid Longhorn, but don’t go out of your way to go there.

This is one chain resturant that I frequent. The good is hood for the most part and the service is fairly quick… that is after you finally get a seat. Wait times are usually very high. I mean like extremely high. But once your butt finds a seat, you’re good to go! I don’t really come here for steak(go figure, it’s a steak resturant lol) Instead I enjoy the parmesan chicken, full serving please! It’s absolutely delicious. Although I recommended it to a friend and she thought it was extremely salty. I guess it depends on your taste buds. The sweet potato is pretty good also, loaded with butter and cinnamon! Like I said, I frequent the place so I know I’ll be back very soon.

I love this place! I have never gotten a bad meal here. Tried a new appetizer, the pretzel sticks with cheese dip and mustard dip. Very good! My steak is cooked perfectly. The mac n cheese is so delicious. I should mention we only waited five mins to be seated. The service is excellent. I could go and on, it’s just that good here.

It was surprisingly crowded for 9pm. There were even lots of families with small children. Perhaps I’m the meanest mom in the whole wide world because when my kids were that young they were not eating steak dinners at that time of night… they had been tucked into their beds for an hour already. We were told it would be about a thirty minute wait for a table, but luckily there were seats at the bar and the friendly bartender told us we could sit there and have our meals. We started with an order of spinach dip with warm(!!!) tortilla chips to share. That dip was ooey-gooey and super delicious. The chips tasted like they were made in-house. They were still warm… and they had just the right crispness and saltiness. Next we each had a burger… the«Steakhouse Burger» with cheddar for me, and the«Primetime Burger»(half-pound beef burger topped with shaved prime rib, sautéed onions, mushrooms and Swiss cheese, and served with au jus, and horseradish sauce) for my boyfriend. His burger came with parmesan garlic fries… and for my side I opted for a loaded baked potato instead of the standard steakhouse fries. The burgers were okay, but they were not really all that impressive. For burgers in a steakhouse I expected something more… perhaps even a hand-formed patty instead of a uniformly stamped disc. I also expected better seasoning. Something was just off. My boyfriend’s fries were so heavily topped with cheese and garlic that the potato flavor was almost lost. And, my baked potato tasted as though it had been reheated more than once. The service was friendly… and the setting was nice. The warm bread and whipped butter that were brought to us even before we ordered our food were absolutely amazing! There are just much better places for good burgers.

Came here with my friend after I won a gift card at a Unilocal event. Also had a free appetizer card which was expiring soon. We arrived at 12:30ish on a hot weekday afternoon and it was not too busy. Waitress seemed newer but was very friendly. It was just every time we were ready for her to take our order, get a refill, bring our bill, etc it took a minute or two longer where you would start looking for her. We got the Pretzel Sticks, even though they are not on the lunch menu(the waitress didn’t know why they weren’t either) so be willing to ask if you want something else. We just had water and ice tea for drinks. Pretzels came out very hot and fresh. The beer cheese sauce is a little grainy and salty to me, but the mustard was good. My friend went with one of the $ 9 combos with the half of Tavern Steak Sandwich. She thought it was tasty, but almost to the edge of being too salty(which takes a lot for her!). She had the mixed green salad on the side with the balsamic dressing, pretty average toppings, but I though the half sandwich looked a little on the skimpy side. It came with a random small cup of like 3 house fried chips with cheese/bacon on them. I went with the Longhorn«Gourmet» burger. I also think it was a little skimpy in the size of the burger as reported. I had them exclude the garlic spinach that was supposed to be on it, but it had some cheddar, crispy onions, and bacon mayo. Cheese flavor didn’t come though too much and would have liked just some regular bacon on it. It was cooked more towards the well side of the medium well I ordered. I subbed in the parmesan garlic fries for a .99 cent upcharge and they were actually very tasty and I had a large portion. I am not a chain restaurant eater, but if I was on a trip/with others/needed takeout in an unfamiliar area, I would consider LongHorn.

Well this was our 2nd time eating here and it will be our last! The 1st time was a horrible experience. Terrible service and we sat there for 1 hour and 15 minutes for SOUP&SALADS! Let me also say the place was dead! We ended up walking out because we had waited long enough, when we were leaving we told the manager why we were leaving and he then offered to go and get our food. We explained he/they have had over an hour to bring 2 very simple items and that we were leaving. I went home later and wrote to the Corp office. They apologized and sent us a $ 30 gift card. This happened to me before I started on Unilocal. Yesterday my husband suggested that we give the restaurant another chance so I called ahead and spoke to the manager Samantha and told her Corp asked me to call her ahead to let her know we were coming in. She seemed happy to hear we were giving them another chance. We arrived at 1 and Samantha was waiting at the door for us. She immediately took us to a table and thanked us again for coming in. That was the last we talked to her! Our waitress came over within a few mins and took our drink ordered and then returned in a few minutes and took our order. I ordered the $ 9 combo, Cheddar bacon burger that came with a salad and I ordered a side if fries. My husband ordered the $ 8 combo, chicken avacado sandwich with a salad. It took exactly 1 hour for us to get our food. During this hour we witnessed 2 tables requesting a manager. Our waitress was an ok server but again an hour was way too long for this good. My fries and burger were warm at best, the burger was overcooked. I would prefer eating burgers at McDonald’s anytime over this restaurant. My husband said his chicken sandwich was ok, he said the chicken tasted very good but the«sandwich«was very small. As for the manager, she walked by our table 4 times, not once did she check in take sure we were happy etc. Very poor customer service if you ask me. We will not be back. There are many great places to go and this isn’t one of them.

I’m the type that drives clear of chain restaurants. I prefer hole-in-the-wall and family run establishments for the higher quality of food and more unique concepts. When a cute girl suggests a steak dinner for two, you don’t complain, you show up! LongHorn Steakhouse on Walden is very easy to find. From the large sign on Walden avenue to their brightly lit front, you won’t miss it. I pulled in and found a spot among their large parking lot and headed in through their large front doors. I was greeted by two young ladies, from their smiles and helpful remarks I instantly felt at home. The restaurant does not take reservations but they will honor a call-ahead. On this night I was seated roughly 10 – 15 minutes before parties who had not used this service. I had waited just under 10 minutes from being greeted to ordering my first drink. The booth I was seated in was just to the left of the fully stocked bar area. This area was packed with drinkers and eaters alike, yet I found my table, with its high right wall, quiet and comfortable. Our server took our drink order quickly and brought us menus, taking the time to answer any questions that we had. We decided on the dinner for 2 special and placed our order. This special provides 1 appetizer or dessert, 2 salads, and 2 entrees for $ 29.99. It turned out to be a very affordable way to try a few things off the menu. The spinach dip we ordered was out, so we settled for spicy chicken wraps. They were served on a bed of lettuce with a dipping sauce. The wraps were flaky and delicious, as was the chicken and sauces. They offer a choice of salads, I had the garden salad with balsamic vinegar while my companion ordered the caesar salad. Both were good. I mean a salad is a salad, we enjoyed them over great conversation and never felt pressured by our server or by steak brought to our table too quickly. Our steaks were mostly the same, mine was additionally wrapped around its edges in bacon. Medium rare usually means cold in the middle at a steak house, so we ordered Medium with caution. Mine was mostly pink and tender, my companion’s was pink with a slight bit of blood. If they had been cooked oppositely we would have been more pleased. Overall the food, experience, atmosphere, and service were enjoyable. Nothing was so amazing that it blew us away, this is the reason for the 4 star rating. Even if my steak had been cooked as perfectly as my companions, I would not have raised this score. In the future I may venture back and try other things off of the menu and perhaps adjust this rating.

SUMMARY: The food was average chain food. The mushroom soup is a must try! There were many issues with our food but the manager sent over 2 complementary desserts for our trouble. SERVICE: Our waitress was very nice but a bit forgetful. FOOD: — There was a delicious creamy mushroom soup with a hint of saffron that I would gladly call in for take out. — The calamari was tangy, sweet, and delicious! Another recommended item. — Other dishes such as the chicken, and seafood pasta did not satisfy my fellow party members. — Steaks and burgers are a safe bet when dining at a steakhouse. ISSUES: — The kitchen was«out» of 2 out of the 6 dishes we ordered. The change in orders caused our food to come out at odd times. — One of our party members did not receive her salad, then was the only one who didn’t receive her entrée for about 5 — 10 minutes after everyone got theirs. –It took forever to receive drinks and silverware. MANAGEMENT: The manager did offer us 2 desserts to make up for our undesirable experience but overall as a native Texan, I would not recommend this establishment.

While finishing my entrée and completing our dining experience, I was already forming a 1 – 2 star review in my mind. But then the waitress came out and told us the manager wanted to buy us dessert due to the various missteps that occurred throughout our meal. This was a perfect gesture and did not go unappreciated by us. Overall, excellent customer service! Our waitress was one of the nicest servers I’ve had, but seemed a little inexperienced or maybe overwhelmed. Some of the issues were most likely not her fault(bar drinks arriving after 20 minuets on multiple occasions, not receiving silverware, forgetting one of the side salads, etc.). Some of the issues were clearly not her fault, such as the kitchen being out of two different entrees that were ordered. As for the food, it was what you would expect from a chain. Edible but boring and uninspired. My chicken was something I could make at home with very few ingredients(and I’m a far cry from a chef/cook). One of us ordered the pasta entrée which was dry without any melted cheese as expected — she had a couple bites and did not finish it or take it home. All in all, while the customer service was excellent, this restaurant was a reminder of why I avoid chains and stick to local restaurants.

This is like a typical American chain restaurant, so nothing outstanding. Came here for lunch and they start you off with warm free bread and honey butter which is always a nice touch. I had mixed greens with a grilled chicken and avocado pita. Everything was pretty standard and good(pita was fluffy). It also came with homemade potato chips that they top with cheese and bacon bits, so can’t complain :)
