No effort was made to get my sale. They didn’t have displayed stove in store. They offered me delivery next day for $ 79.95 on the stove that was not stocked although it was displayed in store. I could have gotten it on Monday, but I would have to pay for it in full prior to them getting it to store. Seeing the sale on this $ 1199 stove going nowhere, I abruptly left the store. Never, ever, to return again. Instead I went to a competitor and found the exact same stove, for $ 100 cheaper, alas, they had sold out. But wait, I was given the option of picking it up myself, same day at their distribution warehouse. SOLD, thank you Brandsmart. Yes, it was an additional $ 20 in gas but I still saved more than that off of HHGREGG’ price. I also sent a scathing email to their corporate offices about customer no-service.

My husband and I are moving in 3 weeks and need a Refrigerator, Sectional Couch and Microwave. and not a care was given that day. Walked around for half an hour, with no less than 10 staff hanging around the middle of the store, and finally went up to try and figure out how much an unlabeled couch was in the outlet part of the store. When they didn’t come back I went to the middle and was told from across the way it was sold. I was curious and asked how much it sold for, and then I heard one lady say that it wasn’t sold. So then another woman comes with a notepad, walks over to the back with us and then says it was actually original price. Having lost their credibility, I questioned her again and she concocted up a bit about how they place couches all over the store. Right. Unprofessional and uncooperative. Get it together hhgregg. I remember now why I don’t go here, how is this place still open?

OK my husband and I went two weeks ago to HH Gregg in Buford Georgia we went to buy a dishwasher but their dishwashers were much higher than Lowe’s or Home Depot and not the quality. We saw a set of patio furniture on sale a table and four chairs with an umbrella. We made the decision to get the set. Now we brought it home put it together and the tiles that are top of the table will not lay flat. the cushions that they told us were for outside if they get wet they do not dry properly. So I called the store and said that I wanted to return the set. I was told that you only have ONEDAY to return any furniture! Now I have never heard of a store only giving you ONEDAY return policy??? That is just not right so buyer beware at HHGREGG! DONOTBUYFROMTHERETHINKINGYOUCANRETURNITIFANYTHINGISWRONG! they have lost a customer in me forever!

And I thought Sears have the worst sales people in their appliance department. Here’s a quick tip: Buy it online, pick it up, then leave like there’s a plague. 11 am… there was only me and another customer in the store. No greeting. Sales people talking to each other. The only time I got attention was when I approached two chatting salesman. I told him about the TV I was looking for. He took me to the display model and there I was looking at it. So far, all I heard from him was… «Here it is.» Hmmm… so… I’m expecting him to give me a run down of the specs. But… nothing… just silence. It gets interesting. I noticed that the TV was hooked to a component source. The video feed was very grainy. So I asked him to please hookup a blu-ray source. And off he went with nothing but the word«Okay». After he hooked it to the TV, I swear, it looked like watching a VHS tape on an HDTV. So I told him to hook it to the other HDTV beside it which has identical specs. It was even worse. So how could I make such judgement? Because I spent hours and hours in Best Buy staring at the same model television. Best Buy would even tell you if the video feed is 720 or 1080 or 4K. I have no doubt that blu ray player in HH Gregg is sending something less than 720. It has to be the disk inside because it does not even have a label. It looks like some kind of low grade hacked movie. Okay… I see what’s going on here. They make these mid range HDTV look so bad so you end up buying the higher more expensive ones. Why? Because they are ONCOMMISSION here. So the more you spend, the more they make. That’s the problem with these people versus going to Best Buy. I got better treatment at Best Buy even though I would admit first hand that I am just looking and not buying. Only because people there love what they do. Anyway, so far, I am the only one doing all the talking. So I told him which one I will get. So off he went and looked in the back if they have it in stock. This is where it gets really fun. He comes back and tells me that the only one they have is an open box item. He will take off $ 100 to help me save more money. Here’s the deal. My secret weapon is that I already know they have three on the floor because I called before I showed up. I am even working with the same person that told me they have three over the phone. So this solidifies that HHGregg is a den for scums… err… scams. So I told him, «You told me on the phone you have three brand new ones on the floor.» He replied, «We sold all of them. We don’t hold merchandise here.» So with that, I told him no. I will not buy an open box item. I am now in play mode. I know he will eventually rather make a sale rather than me walking out because he could not convince me to buy an open box item. Sure enough, as the dirty textbook sales strategy dictates, he got up and said, «Let me look in the front if we have them still.» Sure enough in a quick minute, he comes back and says, «We have three brand new ones in the front of the store.» Ahhh… so predictable. I paid the advertised price and got the advertised discount. He hauled it, then I left. The only time he talked in complete sentence was when he was trying to make me buy the open box item. We loaded the TV in my car, and not even a thank you was said. I WILLNOWDIGRESS… I sort of developed an admiration to really really really good scammers. The best ones I’ve seen are time share salespeople. They really know their art and spend big money to make it all look good. I would not be surprised if there’s a school for that. But these guys are a joke. Why does HH Gregg even waste money hiring these people? They make WalMart feel like your shopping at Oscar de la Renta in NY. So again, you’re better off making your purchase online and pick it up yourself. They have good pricing for sure. Probably because of experiences like mine cause people to never go back. But almost all major stores have price matching. So the bad experience is not even worth my time. Does HH stand for Ha! Ha?! Well, who’s laughing now?

Just bought a washer & dryer. Got a great deal & they were very prompt in delivery. The sales associate was helpful, it was definitely a good experience! I will go back for appliances!

Bought a washer and dryer the beginning of January. The sales person, Reed, neglected to include my rebate forms. I called on the phone and he said he would process it. Called back two weeks ago — didnt return my call. Seven weeks later and still not able to track any«rebate» in the HH Gregg system. Poor salesmenship and customer service. :( NOW I remember why I has hesitant going back there when I purchased the washer and dryer. THATSTHELASTTIMEFORSURE!
