Best place in Burbank for brunch!!! Food is amazing, staff is friendly and very knowledgeable about the menu. Everything is super fresh none of that chain restaurant fake stuff. I come here every chance i get when im in the city. Owner Danny is a sweetheart and the bar staff jackie and paul are the best. They make you feel like part of the family. The food let alone needs no explanation !!!

Alright. So I have been trying to get to this place for two years although I live up the street from it. What a great breakfast my wife and I had. The food was way awesome and the service AWESOME as well. I recommend everyone to come and enjoy this place, you will be happy you did.

Found this place on accident. The«Bacquezo» was awesome, thanks Adam! Great location, nice décor and it looks like they serve healthy portions. I’d definitely come back

Coming here for brunch is the best. The menu has so many delicious and unique plates– omelettes, sandwiches, soups, etc. service is excellent too and prices are very reasonable. The only downside is there is typically a long wait and they are only open till 2pm. But nonetheless try it out, you won’t be disappointed!

As i read through reviews on this place, boy are there many mixed reviews. From hostess, delayed service, to of course food. So confusing. This is my second time here with a coworker after a hectic night so heres my take after visiting twice. Maybe i should do a third to make it a charm. Parking: Im not from the area so its quite frustrating going in circles finding a parking lot. Its a bit hard to find as its kind of hidden in the downtown district. So far both times, i was lucky enough to find parking right at the front but its only an hour parking. So its quite inconvenient to put a timer on and move my car after an hour.(Minus 1-star) Service: Both times, our waiters were very attentive and sweet. Always come over to check on us from time to time. Always have smile on their face. That always make my mornings that much better. Food: For the price i pay(and its quite costly if you ask me), i expect it to be much more presentable and near perfect especially when making a runny poached egg. They are non-consistent as the first visit, my egg was made perfectly where the eggs would run into my muffin. Potatoes hot and flavorful etc. Second visit my eggs were like hard boiled eggs and potatoes were a bit cool already. For $ 15, i expect a darn good Salmon Benedict.(Minus 1-star) No breakfast is a complete breakfast without a nice cold mimosa or bloody mary. They have specialty bloody mary’s. So if you like them, give this place a try on that. I don’t care for them but my coworkers fell in love with bloody mary’s because of this place. Im just taking her work for it on this one. My mimosa, that i can speak of is always good. One downfall, again, is never consistent. This time was more stronger than first time(which i don’t mind of course) but wish it would had been the same the first time. And getting my darn egg right. *See photo* Price: SOEXPENSIVE for what i get! Maybe not to some but if i have been to places with much better Benedict’s for much less, to me then thats expensive! We got mimosa, bloody mary, coffee, Salmon Benedict, and oatmeal for almost $ 50! For that non-consistent and barely perfect eggs, i think i will pass on food or at least breakfast and come here for the drinks next time.

Another Broken Egg never disappoints. I usually get their breakfast but decided to opt for lunch. Their Bella wrap was just okay. I think I’ll stick to breakfast. Cool place with great service and great foods. And another plus, their mugs are adorable! Must haves: breakfast potatoes, cinnamon French toast… basically any of their breakfast dishes

Kudos to this wonderful team on a busy Sunday morning! From the moment we walked in, changed our table, ordered food, then added on our order, questions, answers, all through our one-and-a-half-hour stay, we received excellent service! Like they knew I wanted to update my review! The food was super delicious, I had the veggie omelette, others had the Benedict, French toast, and yes we wanted to try the grits! And the bacon one was really good! The place was well-staffed, an issue I had in the past, the waiters were pleasant and seemed to be happy to serve. The place is big, and yet it was still quite busy! I also got to check out the bathrooms, which are spacious, modern, and clean! This is a perfect local breakfast place! Great food, great service! And awesome plate-wear! That’s a word, right?

The food is good, the servers are good, the hosts in the front need a lot of training. They can’t handle the customer load when it gets heavy. I understand sometimes but not every time. They just look like a bunch of kids goofing around, meanwhile we’re hungry. They had us wait 35 minutes at 12:45 and they close at 2. We sat down at 1:20. Sounds about right? Only thing is there were multiple tables available all over the place. Btw the orange juice is good

We came in early morning and was seated right away. The place was spacious, clean but the service is slow. Smoked salmon benny: supposedly comes with poached eggs but they end up putting fully cooked egg(inside/out) oh the bagel! do yourself a favor and just go to western bagel where they actually make fresh bread. This meal comes with potatos which was the only thing that was good. Seasoned well and was cooked to perfection. Veggie delight: basically spinach omelette with mushroom, nothing out of the ordinary. Pancake: 1pc is enough to share for 2 people unless you have a big appetite. Moist, fluffy and lastly it does not get soggy after putting syrup and jelly which is great! Orange juice: According to our server it is freshly sqeezed but they don’t do it in house, unlike portos. Pricey for the quality of the food that they serve, if ambience is what you’re looking for maybe this is the place for you. I would go back just for the pancakes: P

Only reason I’m rating this a two is because the stupid hostess(not the food) who had sat everyone and had forgotten about my party. It’s not that hard … You ask for my name I give you my number It goes into your system CLEARLY you’re supposed to keep track of everyone you seat BUTNOOOOOOOOOO This blonde bimbo could not even keep track of 2 people who came in. And you know what else I don’t understand… If you have already sat a party, shouldn’t they be marked off the list? I would recommend for you to still try this place out. But warning you they’re pretty dumb and slow.

Unilocal100 review challenge 2⁄100 We were out early one morning looking for a place to grub. I had passed by Another Broken Egg Café many times on my million trips to the mall. I decided to give it a try. We found street parking easily, and made jokes about telling the staff: «We’re here to fix the broken eggs» Or «Excuse me is this Humpty Dumpty you cooked up?» Since, no one could put him together. Boo! Another Broken Egg Café must be the proper recycling place for fairy tale eggs. We were greeted upon entering. Whoot whoot! We mentioned it was our first time, and they assured us we were in good hands. We were given a choice between table seating next to window, or bar seating. The menus were handed right away(breakfast items in front and lunch items on back). Started off with iced waters and coffees. The coffee was a special African blend freshly brewed. Refills kept coming without being requested. Another plus in my book. Loved the special cups, those were totally unique!(You can buy them for $ 20). But, I passed. I liked them better decorating the cafes interior. I ordered an omelet called: Chez B’s. Inside were Red bell peppers, portabella mushrooms & caramelized onions, shaved Parmesan & fresh basil. It also came with feta which I requested to be omitted. Chopped potatoes as a side and an English muffin. Poor muffin was neglected. I literally poured Tabasco all over the eggs and potatoes before digging in. Yum!!!(I’m so going back for a girlie date). I asked for a side of fruit which had honeydew, cantaloupe, grapes, and strawberries. It was really yummy food. My partner in crime ordered: One huge pancake and a plate of French toast. I totally stole a few bites of the French toast which was delightful. The pancake was good. Nothing super fancy. But a sweet combo with the coffee. Overall, superb experience. The service was super awesome. The waitress was cute, friendly, and had a great sense of humor. Excuse me… for being in a food coma and not remembering her name. Eek. Restrooms were clean. But be aware: Toliet bowls are pitch black inside and out. Those looked sooooo creepy. Bill was brought out without having to ask for it. She assured us whenever we were ready and no rush. There was indoor and outdoor patio seating. I was totally eyeing the preoccupied booth area which was a rounded table for about 4 – 5. Also a bar inside. Great place for breakfast or brunch. Should totally check out if you haven’t already. They also have vegan options. Yay! Street parking 1 – 2 hours free. The mall is like 1 – 2 blocks away. Have fun. :)

1 star for terrible service. I came on a Sunday and we waited for about 40 minutes before asking a server for our food. The server just said«there is nothing we can do about it» and turned his back on us. The place wasn’t even packed. I don’t care what kind of bad day you’re having, please don’t take it out on your customers. We were compensated with a small biscuit for our wait lol. But she didn’t give us utensils. All the while we see 3 waiter/waitresses and the hostess congregating and ignoring us. I stood up and got utensils for our table. Terrible and amateurish. Will reconsider before visiting this place again.

Great menu variety. Nice and clean location. Food is really good, I ate every crumb on my plate My only complaint is the service. Waiter rarely came around, brought us cold coffee and our food came out a little cold too. We had to ask twice for new coffee. Besides the lack of service, I would come back just for the eggs benedict. Just be ready for lame service.

Want some hearty southern style fixins– we talkin’ Louzeeyanna with a little ol’ Tejas touch, to break yore fastin’? Another Broken Egg got yo’ numbah. Once again, my gal pal who’s lived in the vall for several years, led the way to a great joint for brunchie munchies. The café appears sort of corporate-ish looking, being the bottom corner of an office apartment-type building. But the eats are up-scale down-home, solid and satisfying. As I am a bloody mary addict, the House version came my way. Nice and on the spicier side. Presentation was different and fun: with a quarter of a whole carrot, sliced length-wise, celery stalk, plus queen-size green olive and pickled okra on a toothpick. We split Eggs Blackstone, a benedict version using crispy, chopped bacon with some thin tomato slices and hollandaise on English muffin. Very tasty. My friend’s Blackberry Grits were done right– good and creamy, not watery, and topped with a dozen fresh berries. A touch of butter and she would have declared perfection. Tried two spoonfuls, and I actually liked the taste and texture. Ah maht lahk gritz after all, y’all! Service from host to waitress was excellent, friendly and positive. Breakfast/brunch is executed well. Missed ordering their popular biscuit beignets, so… another time, I’ll gladly take another meal at Another Broken Egg.

Well, these people read their Unilocal reviews. I was greeted by all three of the servers working outdoors that day. The service was attentive and professional. The outdoor seating is in deep shade under the building overhang. You have a great street view of the intersection(not too noisy Monday morning). The coffee was fine. My omelet was delicious, cream cheese inside and bacon everywhere. I’m glad to see that people pay attention to us!

This place only open for breakfast & lunch. It gets crowded during weekends or holidays. Today wait time 30 minutes. They will text you when the table is ready. However, sitting at the bar doesn’t need to wait. The Service: The bartender, Leopoldo, is excellent! Very friendly and great customer service. He is the only one behind the bar so he has to serve and make all the drinks for the whole restaurant. He is definitely multi-tasking and efficient. The Food: Southern Shrimp Salad — Mixed greens, grilled shrimp, strawberries, blueberries, feta & sliced almonds with garlic French bread. FRESHFRESH ingredient. Very light & refreshing. Hey Lucy! — Avocado, breakfast chorizo, sautéed onions & green chilies with Cheddar-Jack. Sour cream & salsa sides. BIG omelet! The omelet is prepared perfectly. The Parking: Street parking(1 or 2 hours free) and parking structure for Wells Fargo bank(free)

Great service. Great food. I don’t mind waiting for a table for Sunday brunch. I actually feel like a place that doesn’t have some sort of wait may not be worth it. I wasn’t super hungry so I ordered a single slice of French toast. The waitress was super accommodating. We had a party of three adults and two children. The staff didn’t miss a beat. Crayons and colouring pages kept the kids occupied for the quick wait for our food. The only thing I really didn’t like was their signature coffee mugs. Just looked weird but the coffee was good. Definitely worth checking out.

I really enjoyed spending my late morning here, having breakfast and getting some work done on my laptop thanks to the free wifi and a convenient near-by outlet(be sure to ask for a seat near an outlet if you want one, as there aren’t many). I had the Smoked Salmon Benny, essentially a traditional bagel and lox with poached eggs added to make it a «Benedict». It was pretty darn good. A tad expensive, considering the simplicity, but I left very satisfied. Regardless, I received great service, and it made for an excellent end to my morning.
