Creature Features is a perfect addition to the other similar genre stores on Magnolia.
A true collectors paradise, they have a large selection that you’ll love to view and buy.
When we went the first time there were artists in the gallery doing drawings and selling their work. It really made for a nice experience.
In addition the employees have been very kind and helpful both times we’ve come in the past few weeks. (So nice we had to go twice) Even when we arrived 10 minutes before closing, they didn’t give us the «hey, we’re closing» announcement, but we were swift getting in and out and he appreciated that!
An obvious must visit for all movie, horror, sci-​fi people out there!

I like this store. If you’re a collector of classic Monster and Sci-​Fi, you’ll get a kick out of this store. But there’s a good amount of stuff you can find cheaper on the internet. They do, however, put out their own literature. Some of their books are very high quality, and contain a lot rare pictures. If anything, check out the published material.

The BEST geek shop in town. A virtual museum of models, mags, toys and collectibles from every type of fantastic genre. Horror, sci-​fi, fantasy movies and television are all represented. From King Kong and Godzilla to Frankenstein and the Outer Limits, Creature Features has it all. In addition, they regularly host amazing themed group art shows, showcasing artwork from well-​known and up and coming genre artists. A must stop destination for fans of the fantastic!

What an awesome shop. They cover every aspect of the weird, sci fi, and horror under one nerd room. Went in for specific gifts hoping to find some and wound up finding so many unique treasures. I will drop in for gifts for all special occasions from now on. Bravo.

Yes, I love toys. Creature Features has a ton of collectible toys, I’m always amazed when I go in there.
Once when I was there, a film crew was covering their Godzilla exhibit. Yes, they have an exhibit room, how awesome is that?!
You’ll definitely see stuff there that you can’t find anywhere else.
Huge collection of movie soundtracks that you cannot get anywhere else (because Creature Features is cool like that and publishes a lot of them).

Oh my God. Where do I even start? This place is so amazing it’s like a dream come true for any horror fan or just a movie fan in general. If you want to impress your friends or anyone from out of town definitely take them to creature features! Everything from their art gallery to collectibles to handmade pieces! It’s just so fabulous! I could get lost in here for hours on end. The employees are really sweet and helpful too.

An amazing place! Incredible time machine of creature art, models, soundtracks, magazines and more. Some really awesome sculpts and even life-​sized creations.

I love this store. I collect Godzilla and Gamera stuff and occasionally some classic monsters. I could spend a lot of time at this place. I love the gallery space, as well. Their art shows are fantastic. I went to one opening recently. As an artist myself, I hope to show my work here some day.

Holy awesome memorabilia, Batman, I love this place!!! I’ve talked with the owner, Taylor, a few times and not only is he knowledgable about all of my favorite weird-​ass movie obscura but he’s a huge fan as well. I love talking with an owner that is in the biz for the love of the game. Ive finally found Nerdvana!!! This guy gets ten gold stars for such an awesome place. They should offer a pangalactic gargleblaster to sip as you take in all that cinematic nostalgia. And a Paul. I want a life sized Paul statue. Make it so.

My wife and I decided to spend a day last week and drive from our son’s home in Torrance Ca. up to Creature features. Both of us are avid, old school, Sci Fi and Horror fans. I never expected to see such a collection of low grade reproductions at sky high prices being sold by people with zero training in how to speak to the customer. Our salesperson monopolized the conversation, was rude about my wife’s knowledge of the Horror genre and treated us so badly, we walked out, buying nothing. Having totally disappointed my wife, I agreed to take her to some shops in Hollywood. These shops were on Hollywood Blvd. and Melrose Ave. We found at least half of the same old junk Creature Feature peddles at a fraction of the price. It was fun window shopping with my Baby and as far as we are concerned, we would never return to Creature features even if the offered a free lunch. Take our good advice and avoid these self important anointed Horror Slugs at all cost.

I had the best time last week at the «Monsterfink» art show. Ben Von Strawn who Curated the show, invited some of the coolest artists to be in the art gallery. The event had RatFink and Mouse memorabilia (I love Mouse), Hotrods, food venders, a DJ and a hotrod-​band, it was all very exciting. Me and my husband have gone to almost every show they put on at Creature Features and we Love the store!

This overrated and overpriced place sucks. Worst customer service ever. Who cares about the items its the the sales staff and especially the owner who are jerks. If you want rude, smug, arrogant, dismissive, dishonest and aggressive service then shop here. Easier and Better to buy your merch off EBay. If I could give Creature Features, a BIG FAT ZERO I would.

This is one of those places… If you love old Hollywood or collectibles, or both, you won’t be disappointed stopping in. Taking a tour of their art for sale is very fun, and can be done daily. What I love about this place is that it has «features» in a separate room. This changes frequently. Museum quality, and a lot of one of a kinds.
Some of their pricing is not for the faint of heart, but the there is something for everyone – so don’t think you can’t afford it.
They have a monthly news letter and special events. Check them out– you can feel the love of the genre.

I am so happy and glad to see this store back in Burbank! They have a fantastic selection of horror and sci-​fi collectible items. If you’re looking for a hard to find soundtrack for a TV show or movie, this is the place you need to check out. The staff is friendly and extremely knowledgeable. They also have ongoing art shows related to the various sci-​fi and monster movies. Love this place, definitely worth checking out.

What a great store! As a collector of all things sci-​fi, I can come here and window shop my little heart out. The only thing this place suffers from is being overpriced. It’s a bit of a struggle internally for me. I want to patron places like this because they need to exist. However I just can’t justify spending 15 — 20% higher than internet prices on their merchandise.

Creature Features carries a huge assortment of old and new collectible toys, model kits — both built-​ups and boxed, to maquettes, magazines, soundtracks, art, I could ramble on forever.
Plus they have monthly events from book signings to art openings that are the place to be for the cool ghoul or guy. What more could you want in your phantasmic neighborhood shop?
I love going to browse, talk to the extremely knowledgeable owner and staff or other patrons. It’s a fun environment and a destination for the monster loving folks.

For any horror, sci-​fi & fantasy fan there is nothing else like it. Creature Features is your new home. Everything you always wanted and a bunch of stuff you’ve never seen before. This is an absolute must visit place!

So many awesome pieces in here, great prices and a very nice staff. Everyone here was very knowledgeable and was ready to help. It kinda feels like a museum but all the relics have PRICE TAGS!

There’s a small strip of real estate on Magnolia that is quickly becoming the go-​to block for horror nerds. First Dark Del moved in, then Halloweentown popped up (or was that first? who knows), and now Creature Features is back in business after an absence to give genre fans yet another place to drop some serious coin.
The grand opening was only recently, and there was/​is some dust still to be settled. Still, when I dropped in for a visit the place had all the rights pieces in the right places. The display cabinets were all perfectly themed with a real attention to minutia, with cases for Godzilla, King Kong, aliens, vintage Halloween, heroes… basically, the pillars of what fans want when they’re out shopping for this type of stuff. Prices vary from reasonable to outrageous, though, so plan accordingly and maybe try to barter? Never know unless you ask, right?
In addition to the goods for sale, the place also had quite a few hot props and replicas out on display. We’re talking about items like a massive piece depicting King Kong on top of the Empire State Building, or a huge bust of Vincent Price from House of Wax. I can only assume more will join the floor as they continue unpacking. I’m really stoked to checked out the gallery they’ve got coming along, which should be filled with props, busts, artwork, and way too much stuff I can’t even afford.
