Today i went for my first time to this location it was great as always. I have gone to the Venice location because i was invited by friends a couple times but in my opinion this location has better guest service although the sandwich i order took a while i enjoyed it. Not only was the store clean but i got a «Hello» when walking in from the staff making me feel welcome which i never got that in the other location. Venice staff were great too but i will be probably coming more to this location. I loved the New Salads just bummed out the New Squash was not in anymore. The girl that helped me was really good moving fast while filling salads. The other young lady was a Manager telling by the black hat she was nice too recommending food and letting taste the food. I will recommend this restaurant to friends.

Food and drink wise, MMM Yum! Especially with this summer heat kicking in, lemonade was refreshing as can be! Service wise was half and half. You are welcomed in, however, once you order and want to take a seat you look around for clean table and chairs, yet find none. With 6 tables opened, no customers in site, a full staff standing around, you’d think the grime and food leftover would be properly wiped off and clean by now. Food will bring me back again to give it another shot.

As much as I love the food every time I visit this location the service is terrible. Day time service is drastically better. Take that into consideration if you’re ever bringing someone new to lemonade. Big thumbs down! They should really switch the cashier It seemed as if It was an inconvenience that he had to ring me up because he was busy doing whatever he was doing.

I love this place!!! I am so glad that I have one in Burbank! Keith is super awesome! I bought three different stews today because he was so helpful and I want to surprise my partner with this yummy food. My partner and I have food allergies and we need to eat super healthy so this is perfect for me to take home to Diamond Bar. I will be coming at least once every two weeks!

I’ve been trying to get to a lemonade for months but the lines are always long and I understand why… the array of salads and lemonades are amazing… I typically hate going to places when the menu is huge but this place I appreciate… The different salads are so pretty and tasty… Had the watermelon radish and seared ahi tuna and the red miso beef… And the herb roasted chicken and a cucumber mint lemonade!!! Yaaassss!!!

Why are there things on the permanent menu that they do not offer? I specifically went there for the pot roast with macaroni and cheese sandwich. The menu said that they had pot roast and they had mac and cheese so I figured no problem. When I went up to order, the girl was like we don’t have pot roast anymore in general. She said that she doesn’t understand why they don’t take it off the menu. She was really nice either way. She helped me get something else which was very tasty. The point was that I went there for a specific thing that they had written on the menu and I was told that they do not carry it anymore. The place is still good and still overpriced for what it is. The mac and cheese is tasteless but the ham croque monsieur was incredibly good. Given the choice, I would definitely pick Mendocino Farms over Lemonade every time.

Usually love this place but the people that were working today seemed like they didn’t care and didn’t want to be there. I work in a café as well and I understand that being In the food industry is stressful but the first rule is making sure you are on top of customer service. when I got there they all just had their own conversations going complaining about just standing around. It seemed like they were trying to hurry me out and had no emotion when I finally ordered my food To end the cashier was in his own little world talking to other coworkers about what he should eat while I was standing there trying to pay. When I finally asked for a drink he just starred at me as if he just wanted me to hurry up and leave I usually never leave bad feedback but I was just in shock today. They are usually good

Dude, get the Roasted Turkey BLT with Bacon, Avocado, Arugula, Tomato, & Pesto Aioli. This was probably the best sandwich I’ve ever eaten. Also, get a side of mac and cheese, it’s also one of the best I’ve had. YOUWILLNOTBESORRY if you listen to me. You will be sorry if you don’t go. :)

I can give this place 4 stars for food, but shoutout to this douche of a guy for literally YELLING at the little raspy voiced white girl he works with… infront of CUSTOMERS!!! He was ringing me out, stopped mid transaction and turned to yell at her. My heart sank. My heart sank and I was embarrassed beyond words for her! I understand that sometimes you have to relay unpleasant information to a coworker, but NEVEREVER in front of your customers. Get a fuckin grip dude i was so uncomfortable.

I go to this location a lot and I finally found a better one in Studio City. There’s honestly only one problem I have with this place because the other workers have always been friendly but there’s one particular worker(whose there all the time) that grates my nerves like no other. He doesn’t say much but projects a serious attitude. ALWAYS hands me the bag to bag everything myself, will start to serve you then passes the responsibility on to whoever is nearby instead. I’ve never seen anyone so overtly rude and lazy to his fellow workers and to customers. I don’t know why he has so many shifts giving negative zero cares about the customers at all. None of the other workers do this, and the food is good and the place is clean. So I don’t want them to be in the blame ring for my experience because they were all nice. But it literally ruins my experience every time and I finally just got fed up with bagging my own food and dealing with the attitude of this guy and found another place.

Lemonade Toluca Lake Spick & span spotless in design and cleanliness. Great food but but at over $ 10 per person it is pricey, especially for a fast food walk up. I had the Hawaiian Tuna Poke this time, superb! Sandwiches are great too! Gotta get the lemonade too! :-)

First time eating here. Also the last. The Caprese sandwich has two tiny pieces of cheese on it. It was so oily and greasy I couldn’t even finish it. The side salads I got were also super greasy. The whole thing was such a major disappointment that $ 20 later and hating the food I was super bummed out.

I’ve been coming here pretty often for the past couple of months and the food is usually on point and the staff was the reason I kept coming back. But in the past 2 months I’ve been going less mostly because of this newer employee. Her name is Galilee. I’ve noticed her touching her face or coughing on her hands and then going straight to «helping» out guest. I don’t consider it helpful knowing her germs are all over those serving spoons. One time I even over heard her calling another customer a «b”-itch and also the person after that was their friend who over heard what she said. After that incident I was surprised to still see her working there. Every time I’ve been there I’ve noticed that she’s rude to a big handful of people customers and her coworkers too. There have been a few times where I’ve seen her«nice» to people and it seems so fake and over the top… I don’t know how much longer I’ll be coming to this location because I don’t want to be one of customers she talks crap about. I hope things change because Galilee is bringing down this store.

This one has a free parking lot in back! That’s seriously the reason we ate here after our Warner Brothers Studio tour, nowhere else on Riverside had parking, haha. But lucky for us, we all had a great meal at Lemonade. Not a ton of seating — there’s some inside and some out — but lots of people waiting in line will get takeout and not sit in. We didn’t have trouble finding a table for 4 during weekday lunchtime. You can taste all the salad items before buying, which is great, but it’s hard to imagine how one could go wrong here anyway. I got the lemongrass chicken slaw with cabbage and cashews, roasted broccoli with ricotta cheese and champagne vinaigrette, Hawaiian Ahi tuna poke with sesame vinaigrette, and cucumber mint lemonade. This was probably around $ 15. So no, it isn’t cheap. But I’ve come to expect that as normal from LA — the food is really good, very fresh, catering to a crowd that apparently doesn’t mind paying a little extra for that goodness. I enjoyed everything — loved the crunchy slaw, the tuna was fresh and in big yummy chunks drizzled in wonderful sesame dressing, and the lemonade was a big, refreshing glass of goodness. It’s a little hard to know exactly how much of which things to get to make a full meal. Easy to accidentally get too much salad and then wish you had saved room for the hot stuff. I wish it was easier to really get a look at everything before you decide. I think my mom ended up with too much and was passing off(delicious) chicken meatballs on the rest of us, and I was scraping my plate with my fork, wishing I’d got another salad portion! But overall the experience is of a fun, modern cafeteria with way more delicious food than you’ll have belly space(or wallet space) to try.

Unilocal100 review challenge 10⁄100 «When life gives you lemons open up a Lemonade spot.» Certainly, someone did exactly that. Creating creative lemonade flavors like: Mint Cucumber, Blood Orange, Coconut Apple, Original, Berry, Guava Limeade to name a few. I’ve almost personally gone through all the flavors. My fav by far is Guava Limeade. Walking into Lemonade… I was reminded of an Elementary school cafeteria setting. Back in school days when you had to grab a tray, and wait for the big kids and staff to glob serving of goo onto trays. Except Lemonade, you choose what you would like from a variety of healthy options. Start off with sides! I loved the following: Orecchiette Pasta & Cherry Tomatoes with Perline Mozzarella & Chimichurri Vinaigrette. I also loved the Red Quinoa & Fuji Apples with Arugula, Toasted Sunflower Seeds, & Pistachio Vinaigrette. Both were refreshing and satisfying. A cup of Mac and cheese. Mmm. It wasn’t warm enough for me. I would’ve loved it piping hot… so I’d be forced to blow before every bite. It was bleached Mac and cheese… I mean white. Lol. But, regardless divine. Next choose soup options and bread. I told them I was vegetarian. The staff recommended the vegetarian chili… omg it was absolutely delicious. You must try it if you haven’t already. Pair your choice of soup with a slice of bread or a pretzel bun. The bun was good as well. Last stop the dessert window!!! Yes, how can you say no to a brownie. I had a hard time choosing between a blonde and a brownie. But, I totally went for the classic brownie at $ 4.50. It was a great way to end an amazing meal. (Note: all this food was enough for two) Please don’t leave without a lemonade. They also had various types of sandwiches. Way better than cafeteria food. No mean ladies here either. –Parking on street & nearby neighborhood –There maybe a private parking in back but (don’t quote me on it) –Indoor and outdoor seating –Friendly staff makes recommendations –Sample lemonade flavors

Literally just finished my food before writing this review. I’ve been hearing about this place for quite awhile and we finally came around to trying it. Ill admit, I was pretty confused in the ordering system. But the friendly guy showed us what to do and it was no problem. With so many healthy choices and items with so much flavor it was hard to choose. With the help of sampling I was able to choose the green beans with pineapple chicken and pesto pasta with cherry tomatoes as my portions. Also, since everyone keeps raving about it, I also grabbed some truffle Mac n cheese and the beef braised short rib. Oh and not to forget the guava lemonade. I was blown away with the Mac n cheese. It was so flavorful and moist it was probably the best Mac n cheese I’ve ever had. To be honest I’m not that big of a Mac n cheese fan. Next was the two side portions. The chicken green beans was a little spicy but it had just enough kick and the pesto pasta with cherry tomatoes was succulent. And lastly, the short ribs was so tender and rich in flavor, I finished that first. Topping it off with the tart but deli cou lemonade, it was a successful last meal in SoCal. I’ll be back

So I’m not gonna lie, the first time I went in here I left kind of unimpressed but that’s possibly because I didn’t know what I was doing. The cafeteria style of the restaurant is confusing. But yesterday I gave it another try, and did the two portions, + a Arnold Palmer. & I have to admit it was a good meal. I like the salads here they have very diverse taste but it’s great! I’ll definitely be returning.

The prices are high but the food is fresh to make up for it. The downside is the lines are long and limited seating so I suggest taking your food to go. Their various salad combinations are delicious and full of flavor. I recommend their Jamaican Chicken too, spicy and delicious

Free parking in a small lot! Very exciting, I know. But that actually plays a major factor in where I decide to eat haha. I always have a soft spot for Lemonade because their food fills me up quickly but I don’t get the gross feeling I usually get after eating fast food. Their menu selections might get a little confusing for those who just discovered Lemonade, but it’s pretty self-explanatory after that. Make sure to ask the staff for help because they just assume you know what you’re doing(if you’re new lol). They’re not always the friendliest bunch though. This place gets crowded during lunch time, so plan accordingly. Tip: two portions is good enough for me(and I eat a lot). They give very generous portions of their food. I also recommend the guava lemonade, but their flavors are seasonal and can often change. It comes in a large cup and it really satisfied my lemonade cravings. The prices are a little on the higher side, but it’s worth it if you don’t come here that often.

They have very unique food. The mac and cheese is super good but i get tired of it after a few bites because it is so rich. I like the caprese. Recently I tried the avocado and tomato side and it was so good! It’s a bit pricey but it’s worth it I’d say. The staff is very nice. They always let you sample their items. They also play great music! They have their own parking lot so it is convenient.

I honestly do not know what the hype is about this place. Not just this location, but the actual restaurant. Its over priced. Half an avocado with a little bit of salmon on top and broccoli for $ 13? I left and had to go grab actual food. The food is good, but not something you can’t easily make at home and definitely not worth the money. I personally won’t come back and eat, but will come back and grab just a lemonade.

I’ve been to Lemonade a few times. The first time, I was unbelievably disappointed. I got 2 portions from the marketplace and I also got a portion of truffle Mac & cheese. The mac & cheese was very bland and the salad portions weren’t anything special. I also had the cucumber mint lemonade, the only thing that I enjoyed. I left feeling like I paid for overpriced cafeteria food. I went back a few times after. I now get the salmon and the pasta with tomatoes and mozzarella. I still feel like I’m paying for overpriced cafeteria food, but at least I found something good. It’s really convenient if I don’t feel like bringing a lunch to work. I give them 3 stars because I think it’s extremely overpriced. Alongside, the staff has never made me feel welcome. They always just assume you should know what you’re doing and if you’ve ever been to a Lemonade, it can get kind of confusing for someone new. I’ve been a few times and I still get confused.

Meh. I’ve been to a few Lemonades. This was weird. Went here a few days ago. Everything I got here was weirdly sweet, including all the salads and the stew I got, which just wasn’t very appetizing. Persimmon salad I got seemed like it had been chilling there for a while, and way too much cheese on it. To top it off, we got a guy who was super annoyed that we were buying food from him, I guess(?) I’ve never had so much shade thrown at me for buying salad. It was so off putting and weird. And then he didn’t put the lid on my husbands lemonade all the way so it spilled all over him when he went to drink it at home. I wish I had grabbed his name. It was so strange. Probably would go to any other lemonade except this one.

I came in for some delicious fresh lemonade. I ended up buying a 4 portion combo from the fresh section. The salads were delicious. I love the truffle mac and cheese. I also love the ahi tuna poke. It’s kind of pricey in here, so know what you want to eat.

Great food, takes way too long if there is any sort of line. The cost to food ratio is just barely off. Everything is just barely too expensive. If every food item was even $ 1.00 cheaper it would be much better. I come here very often, and have come to this realization. i held off on coming back and then when I did this the portions seem to have shrunk and same with the water cups. I love Lauryn Hill but please switch up the music once in a while.

Came here for the first time with my mom and sister for dinner. My sister just moved into the area and we had heard good things from friends. When we got there we tried to figure out how the ordering worked on our own but decided to just ask when we got to the front of the line instead. The girl there was so friendly and helpful — the perfect person to greet you there. We all got different things to try. At the end we all got different lemonade as well. Freaking amazing. If I could change one thing it would be a toss up between making the lemonade a little less sweet and not feeling quite as rushed by the other people lining up behind us. But it was nothing worth freaking out about. This is definitely a place for the healthier eating group so don’t make your picky eater come here. We all loved it! We will definitely be back.

This is one of those weird locations that Lemonade seems to be opening recently. It’s not a full size store, yet it’s not a takeout spot. There’s seating, but not enough seating. There is along bench outside with tables, but this is the valley which can get unbearable during the lunch time hours most of the year. Everything here seems to be on a reduced scale, but not really. That seems to be the message with this location. There’s parking, but not enough parking and because Toluca Lake is permitted parking, you’re SOL if you don’t leave yourself enough time for an appointment. The food is generally fresh and the staff is sometimes overly helpful. I think that contributes to the wait time at this location, but those are first world problems. I rather they be nice and helpful than rude and disinterested. However, like many have reviewed with this location and Lemonade in general… the utensils are placed in a way where many people can touch it without taking it hence leading to some difficult health issues. I think as long as you’re willing to take this place for what it is… a healthy alternative to fast food with great lemonade, you’ll be okay. Side note, outside of the ding dong cake, the rest of the desserts have been pretty hit or miss and mostly missed.

I love this place! Been here so many times. Love the cafeteria style ambience. Simple and to the point. A wide selection of salads. sandwiches, stews, desserts and more! My go-to is always the butternut squash. I literally get that every single time I come. I mean… How can you say no to a salad with corn nuts! My other go-to is the truffle Mac and cheese! Deeeerishious! If you’re craving something with a little more weight after your salads, then the Mac is definitely a good choice. And wash it down with their seasonal lemonades! Tonight’s choice was watermelon Rosemary and it’s so refreshing! Parking at this location is sweet. They have their own lot! And street parking if you come at a nonpeak time. Price: definitely not cheap. I got a 4portion with truffle Mac and lemonade and it cost about $ 17.

There is something about hearing the word, ‘lemonade’ that evokes a wholesome, bright, cheery image. One that meshes simpler times, summer, and happiness. Perhaps it just makes you think of various flavors of lemonade beverages. Regardless, the former descriptors are a perfect way to describe the Lemonade eateries and thus the name is rightfully apt. Everyone has either tried or is familiar with Lemonade: the marketplace/cafeteria style restaurants that seamlessly bring together fresh, California healthy eating with a touch of gourmet but in an accessible choose-your-own plate environment. This isn’t your high school or hospital cafeteria! This is the big time! Lemonade offers cold and warm salads, proteins, soups, desserts, and of course: lemonades ranging from fruity to minty to unsweetened. Prices are based on portions for the sides(1 portion $ 2.75, 2 portions $ 5.50, etc), and flat prices for other plates such as $ 6.59 sandwiches, $ 7.00 braises, etc. Long story short, Lemonade is a la carte-style eating. This location of Lemonade welcomes with both outdoor and indoor seating, a sort of Brady-Bunch throwback feel mixed with a hint of Ikea, and of course: shades of yellow everywhere. Immediately upon entering, we were greeted by genuinely happy staff(and many were younger teenagers so this was quite a pleasant surprise). The staff excitedly described the concept and offered samples galore without even a hint of pushy selling behavior. Well done! We felt like VIP customers in terms of being cared for. Asking to taste some of the offerings is encouraged as everything looks so exquisite that it is difficult to choose! Some of the items we have purchased: Israeli Couscous(AMAZING!), White Truffle Mac and Cheese(creamy with excellent truffle hints), Basmati Rice, Red Miso Beef Short Ribs(a winner for the meat lovers!), Mushroom Risotto, Fig-Sherry Salad, Poached Salmon(in the best mustard-dill sauce, ever!)… and the list goes on. EVERYTHING is absolutely delicious at Lemonade. There seriously is nothing«meh» about it and the ingredients are top-quality. Portions are satisfying and don’t skimp so you will feel full but not in the oily-fatty way. The only qualm? Lemonade is not cheap. Everything adds up versus paying a flat price per rate like at a ‘regular’ restaurant so it is not suggested for everyday eating. I did not get to try the actual lemonades but certainly want to as I do not consume sugar so it is a HUGE«yay» when I find a place serving unsweetened lemonade to which I can add my own sweetener. A standout sidenote? Lemonade is UBER clean! I immediately noticed how clean the serving areas and prep side was which is quite noteworthy in an environment where it is basically a salad bar. The dining area was also spic-and-span with seemingly no dirt or crumbs anywhere. Definitely an A+ for the OCD crowd! At the end of the day, Lemonade is «very California» and ups the ante for marketplace food but in a fast-casual environment. Whether you are vegetarian or a meat lover; you will find happiness here. No wonder it is called«Lemonade»!

Just tried Lemonade for the first time for lunch… YUM! Why did I deny myself this goodness for so long? Had the 3 portion of the cold salads(Brussell sprouts with dates, Coconut Chicken, and the Israeli Couscous with mushrooms). Wow the Coconut chicken with green beans is truly phenomenal. Free samples of anything before you commit, really? It’s like going to Costco when you are hungry and they have all the free sample people lining the aisles. I’m coming back for the Hot, from the Hearth meals and the desserts. Nice/clean/modern décor, great indoor/outdoor dining options.

Getting less enthused every time I come here. Don’t know if it’s the bad Burbank aiir but I always get nauseated from the food. The salads all seem to taste alike. The crowd is chirpy, cheerful and annoying like the bright yellow chairs. There are a lot of women and gay men forever sampling everything. The line moves like molasses. For such a health conscious place the utensils are offered unsanitarily and dumped in a box where dirty hands grab all over. Forks should be stored so the handles are top and the tines bottom! Common sense. Today they offered free lemonade. Cucumber Mint was watery and tasteless. They seem to do a lot of smiling and hard work here. But they’ve turned fresh salads into something as banal and sad as Chipotle. I don’t know how they can improve. Maybe put bacon into everything…

Lemonade is a hit or miss, in terms of the food and the experience. This location however I will NOT be coming back during rush hours. Parking is a difficult, and the line wraps around the restaurant it is ridiculous. The food is only okay, so you have to know what you like. I like the orecchiette, curry chicken, red miso braised beef. And of course the lemonades are great!

Date of service: Dec 4, 2014 Meal: Dinner, Eat in All Ratings out of 10: Quality of food: 8 Food to Spend Value: 7 Quality of Service: 6 Overall Rating: 7 Lemonade is a bit different than your typical restaurant, as it has a wide variety of fairly fancy food options but is set up cafeteria style. This was the first time I had ever gone to a Lemonade, and I certainly found it a bit odd. However, the quality and variety of the food made up for the oddness of the first impression. As you go through the line, the first thing you encounter is the cold food items. Then halfway down the line you transition to hot stuff. We were hungry and decided to get a bunch of stuff we could split. We got a couple of cold items first. The New Mexican Chili Roasted Butternut Squash had a very nice seasoning that complemented the squash well and was much better than I initially anticipated. The orecchiette pasta salad was the other cold item we got, and it was fantastic, with tomato, mozzarella, and chimichurri. We got a number of hot items as well. The seared ahi tuna was sushi grade and had a very nice finish with an orange vinaigrette. The white truffle macaroni and cheese was simply to die for and was one of my favorite items we got. It was very creamy and rich tasting with a very robust flavor. We were trying to decide between the red miso beef short rib and the chicken«fricando», and at the recommendation of the guy behind the counter we chose the short rib. The way it was served made it look a lot like a pot roast, and it was quite a bit sweeter than expected. It was good but I probably would not get it again. Of course a place called Lemonade would be remiss to not carry actual lemonade, and they are known for their multiple varieties of fresh homemade lemonade. I went with the Blackberry Thyme and really enjoyed it. It was not too strong but also did not taste watered down, and I could definitely pick out the blackberry and thyme flavors blended with the more traditional lemonade flavor. A few other types they had this night(not exhaustive) were Ginger Peach, Watermelon Rosemary, and Cucumber Mint. The food was very good and high quality, and the portions were reasonable though not humongous. The intention is for you to get multiple items and create your own meal, though, so the portion sizes seemed ok. Going through a line at the beginning could become really inefficient during a busy time, but it was not very busy when we arrived. The service was fine for getting food but was pretty much on your own afterward, including busing your own table. Overall, I enjoyed my experience at Lemonade and look forward to returning in the future to try some of the other myriad items they serve up.
