The good news is this place has excellent food. The bad news is that everyone in the neighborhood already knows. You can’t go wrong with anything that’s got their homemade corned beef/brisket, and like any 4 – 5 star breakfast location, they’ve got pancakes on lock. If you’re an eggs benedict aficionado then they’ve got a handful of varieties to keep you busy as well.

Finally tried Maple~N~Jams after driving by for eons. They did not disappoint. From the hostess to the bus-staff all were friendly and professional. My food was served so quickly, I literally said«wow» when it arrived. I had the healthy omelette and i was allowed to modify the ingredients. I will be back and will request to sit in Donna’s section.

I found this spot via Unilocal.I’ve been here a couple of times now. The staff is friendly for the most part and the food is delicious. The wait can be a bit long, specially on the weekends, but I expect a place like this to have a waiting period. The cons= the staff makes you feel like you have to hurry up and leave after you take the last bite of your food, even if you’re still drinking your coffee. I understand that they are busy and want to clear tables to accommodate the people that are waiting, but I wasn’t there too long to begin with(both times this has happened). The parking lot is also very small and like I said, it gets packed so be patient. Tip: go early during the week.

Breakfast was good, service was good but My Bill for myself and my son was $ 45 with 20% tip! I was shocked when the charge for 2 glasses of orange juice was $ 12.00!!! Are you kidding me? It came out of a plastic bottle!

Never again! $ 17 for an egg white omelet! It was takeout but nearly $ 20 for an omelet! Cmon!

We had the Banana-nut French Toast, Nutella crepes, steak skillet with hash browns a side of pancakes and side of scrambled eggs! YUM! Everything was delicious, too bad this place closes at 3:00.

Came here and didn’t have to wait long. Got right in and got served fast. The breakfast was hot and delicious. Get your money’s worth. The best part is that this place is not too far from where we live. Highly recommended.

First time there and loved it! The ambiance and décor was very pleasant and better than most sit-down restaurants I’ve been to. They have the walls painted a neutral beige color and have a few mirrors on the walls with some fancy décor which make it higher quality dining experience than at a typical sit-down restaurant. They have plenty of tables(about 8 to 10) and about 8 to 10 booths around the perimeter. I preferred a booth, but the owner said that he wouldn’t give us a booth if we needed a highchair because it would block the aisle too much. So we sat at a table and it was ok with us. Our waitress, Michelle, was great! She is a seasoned waitress, not a newby, and she knows how to treat customers! I give her an A+ for how well she was attentive and nice and friendly to us. The menu was really good, easy to read and had plenty of pictures of the entrees. They have a lot of breakfast items/entrees, but also sandwiches and other good entrees to choose from for lunch. They are not open for dinner though, which stinks, but understandable — to keep costs down. I had the potato pancakes(4) and my wife had the stack of pancakes with cherries on top. Just eating 2 of the potato pancakes was very filling. They tasted great, and my wife enjoyed her thick, fluffy pancakes! The fries tasted better than I’ve had at other places. They have a kids menu/section with plenty to choose from there too(grilled cheese and fries, chicken strips, Micky Mouse pancakes, etc)! Overall, it wasn’t cheap but wasn’t too much. Each entrée was about $ 7 – 9 which is standard. The kids entrees were $ 5. They have a parking lot but they are a corner unit in a strip mall, so there was limited space but not too bad. I was impressed overall and recommend them! The link to their site:

Food: 5 stars –I ordered the country fried chicken that comes with biscuits and gravy, potatoes, and your choice of toast or pancakes. It was delicious and portions were huge. Unfortunately, it was one specific(but important) aspect that brought my experience down to 2 stars. My friend and I received our food and ate, not too soon after eating we received our checks(which was fine), but almost immediately upon receiving our checks I noticed the staff started to swarm around, cleaning our table and even just walking around and blatantly checking if we were leaving. Now, we weren’t hanging around for four hours. We were seated at 10 and it was before 11AM when this started to happen. Before 1130, our waitress even said something along the lines of «if there’s nothing else I can get you, people are waiting and I don’t know what to say.» I’m sorry, I guess I thought this was a place where I could sit, enjoy the coffee I was still drinking, and talk for a bit. I understand you’re busy, that’s a good(and stressful, yes) thing but as a customer whose been there for a reasonable amount of time — I didn’t realize it was my problem. Even more, there were people who had gotten there before us and were still seated. If you wanted to create a fast food, «eat and go» type environment, cool, but please don’t advertise as a relaxing café. First time visit and the food was good, but I know of a couple other places where the food is just as good and service a lot better — busy or not.

First time here since my go to breakfast place was way packed… Parking was a bit of a struggle(small lot), the restaurant is actually not that spacious, the food was actually good. I had the Philly steak skillet was cooked well. I was also pleased with our waitress(Michelle) she was very helpful and had a great attitude! I would recommend this place.

I drive past this place twice a day and finally decided to give it a try since my go-to breakfast place was slammed. This place was a good alternative. Our server Michelle was nice and attentive. Food was ordered and brought out fairly quickly and tasted pretty good. The dinning room feels a bit cramped when it’s full and there really is not enough parking. Overall, good experience. Would recommend

While visiting the Burbs I stumbled across this gem! Wow! I was really impressed! their food is amazing! Flavorful and done to perfection! Staff is very friendly and quick! I got my order taken in less than 5 min, and my food like in 10! And they were pretty busy! It’s definitely a sign when there are so many elderly folks eating the food, it must be Fire! Staff so attentively refilling my coffe, is always a plus. I’m really glad I found this place, since there isn’t so many good ones around Burbank.

Did I die and go to small town restaurant heaven? I am having home made corned beef hash over a bed of home made potatoes and you can choose to get pancakes rather than toast. They are extremely friendly here. I am sitting at the counter and the staff talks to customers like at a bar. It seems like straight out of a Jimmy Stewart«It’s a Wonderful LIfe» movie. It is the day after Christmas and they are still playing old time Christmas music. It is amazing. They are actually having conversations with their customers. And the police are eating here too, which is always a good sign. People are laughing. The staff is even friendly to each other. And they are genuinely concerned if they are not able to meet a customer’s request. One of the customers requested a particular type of tea, but they ran out and I saw three of the staff members talk together about how to remedy the situation and how to prevent it from happening again. The food is not haute cuisine like I am accustomed to in San Francisco where I am from, but it is satisfying and it is home made. But I really got a kick out of the small town culture, atmosphere and the real interaction between customers, staff, and customers and staff. It is a nice counterpoint to virtual interactions via smart phones and computers. Apparently, one of the customers likes members of the staff so much, he was giving them Christmas tips. I can easily see how this restaurant would build a following. As I look around the restaurant I see groups of senior citizens and individual senior citizens feeling right at home. They even have a young attractive Hispanic waitress who speaks fluent spanish for the spanish-speaking clientele. It sure beats McDonalds and is a Happy Meal with substance. The restaurant is is right outside the southwest part of Chicago.

We have officially found our new breakfast spot! The service is great, attentive but not annoying. The food is fantastic — gotta try the chicken fried steak! Perfectly priced and you know it’s good when the staff knows most of the customers there. The only thing I didn’t like was the orange juice — it tasted super weird.

Generous portions made to order and served promptly. Must try the Nutella crepes; The crepes alone were fantastic! Friendly atmosphere and clean. I ordered a veggie skillet which was well prepared but should have had a little more vegetables and less potatoes. Overall, a good place.

Has become my favorite place for breakfast and a quick lunch. Omelets great. Pancakes and waffles, you tell them blueberry or strawberry or chocolate chip you will be back to try something else forcing your self not to order the same thing over again. Lunches are simple and tasty. Home food with a spin. A few visits and you may make Maple and Jams your favorite also.

Alway receive the greatest service from Michelle!(Request to sit in her area! Funny, helpful and just an all around joy) Since trying this place out with coworkers after a Saturday morning meeting I have slowly brought some of my family over on in to try it out! My mother and grandmother(that isn’t easy to please haha) absolutely love it and refuse I take them out for breakfast anywhere else! By the way, it is a breakfast joint it isn’t fair to base judgments on a place for taking a while to seat you on a Saturday or Sunday morning… They WILL be busy and it WILL be worth the wait!

Came here for brunch with a friend and was happy with the service and food that we ordered. The server was a Hispanic woman who was friendly and kindly put up with us as we were taking a while to place our order. I ordered the buttermilk pancakes and my friend ordered strawberry crepes. The food turned out to be good, but not excellent. The pancakes were not as fluffy and moist as I liked them to be and the strawberry crepes were a bit too sweet for my friends taste buds. Nevertheless, we are a good portion of it.
