Don’t come here from off campus. It is a waste. I eat here often, out of necessity because I work on campus and don’t usually have time to go out. With the exception of the guy who usually does the deli sandwiches: — Never ready to go on time. They are supposed to be open at 11:30 for lunch, but at best, the salad bar might be setup by then. But, lots of employees standing around and chatting. Deli is my go to because that guy is the only one with his stuff together. — The people serving the food act like they are doing you a favor. This goes double for William at the noodle bar. He will stare at you when he decides he is ready(maybe 11:45) and his sign has been wrong multiple times. Today for instance, sign said it came with rice AND noodles. He goes to the rice and noodles and stares at me and I stare back. He mutters«rice or noodles», I respond with«what the sign says». He picks up the sign, reads it, slams it back down on the counter and again«rice or noodles». Total a-hole. — The pricing is high, but with a mostly trapped clientele and no on campus competition, to be expected.

This review for the one right by the front building . We grabbed a quick bite there before the meeting with my coworker. I just had a coffee by fountain drink, it supposed to be Starbucks brand, but always tasteless. It’s better to buy from c-store. And my coworker, she had tuna salad sandwich. The bread was part stale part hard and dry, didn’t hold sandwich when she picked it up. And tuna salad part, it was very watery and had strong fishy taste to it. We think they didn’t drain the water from tuna can, prepared and stored more than few days ago. It was so obvious that she was served from old batch so we wanted to go back and complain, but unfortunately, we had to go, so we tossed it and left. This is not the first bad food experience we had here but we kept going there for convenience. So this review is for reminder for me to grab stuff before I enter my office campus.

A few bright spots include the burritos. Overall this place is way overpriced and the stations lack consistency. I try to avoid any tortilla chips on Monday because they are usually stale(likely from the week before). Today I paid over 9 dollars for a very basic Sloppy Joe sandwich with cold french fries. On a daily basis they offer a fish selection along with various sides that usually lack flavor and they can be found drowning in oil. They offer various daily specials that occasionally include Indian and Chinese dishes. Once again I often find they lack flavor and are overpriced. Even though my company credits us for meals we eat at Networks Café, I have to leave campus at least a couple times a week for better options. The bottom line is that the food is so bland and inconsistent that I am willing to forgo free food to get a better meal that I have to pay for myself.

I patronize this establishment a couple of times a month. While a bit on the pricey side, it’s convenient if you need a quick bite, but don’t want to walk a couple of blocks to the airport. The food isn’t great, but I give them credit for trying. Their daily specials are often quite innovative… on paper… but the execution is hit-or-miss. After multiple misses, I now stay away from entrees, like roasted chicken, or salmon, etc., and stick to items from the griddle. Today I picked up a breakfast burrito(egg, sausage, potatoes, cheese and salsa), as I didn’t have any cash for the local roach coach(Food, Etc.) It wasn’t bad, and was reasonably priced(under $ 5). Cold cut sandwiches are pretty good, but too expensive(about $ 9 for a sandwich and chips). Likewise, the salad bar is fairly extensive, but not worth an average price of $ 11. A couple of things they do have is a nice selection of beverages, and a friendly staff.

I work on campus so it’s a great convenience to have this cafeteria here within walking distance. However I’m continually dissapointed and frustrated by the quality of food and the prices that are being charged. My colleaugues and I had lunch near the Yahoo Campus today. The chicken at the Cilantro bar was extremely overcooked and tasted funny(like parts of a chicken you wouldn’t want to be eating). I figure if I pay over $ 7 for a quesadilla, I would get decent quality chicken breast. Also, I think it’s deceptive to charge for ingredients that one would normally find in an any entrée. Some examples: On Taco tuesday, they publicize $ 1 mini tacos. But it costs .25 extra for cheese, .25 for sour cream, .25 for guacamole PER taco. At the sandwich bar, they will charge $ 1.00 extra for cheese? On a sandwich? My friend today spent over $ 8 on a sandwhich because it had cheese and was on a croissant(which is considered a «premium» bread –$ 1.00 extra). I’m just dissapointed with the food here. And I’m more frustrated at myself for continuing to come here, spending a lot of money, and feeling dissatisfied – just because it’s downstairs from my desk. After today, I’m packing my lunch or finding more reasonably priced food elsewhere.

The people working at the small Cafeteria think they are doing a favor by feeding people. They have a high sense of entitlement and attitude when they serve The food may be decent(but still not cheap to purchase) but i dont need a side of douche-arry with my food. Also when you say the cafeteria opens at 11:30 — dont open it at 11:50 and still give the stink eye. Not gonna be back here again– and i work on the campus

Man, fourth time was not a charm at this place.(I had drafted«third time» but realized that I have been here four times WHYDO I KEEPCOMINGBACKHERE?!) First visit I had a chicken salad wrap, delicious, second time the tuna burger, gross, third time was a pasta alfredo, bland, and now I’ve got another mark on the negative column with the black bean and quinoa burger. The burger, if you can call it that, had the consistency of rice pudding. It was literally a liquid, I could spread it with a knife, and had no black beans to speak of(all quinoa). It was cold, the cheese hardly sticking to it, and also would have been wholly flavorless if not for the gallon of mustard and ketchup I poured onto it. The only decent bit about this meal was the curly fries, which were also cold but decently tasty, most likely having come pre packaged and frozen. I know what you’re thinking. Why did I order the weird thing? Why not just get a normal burger, or a sandwich? Shut up, logical voices, and know that in my opinion if you’ve stuck something onto your menu it should be just as delicious as the other stuff on the menu, even if — or especially if — it’s a specialty item. The pricing at this place is shameful. I paid eight dollars, EIGHTDOLLARS for this horribleness. For that price, just go down the street to Hook Burger for a decent meal.

LUNCHHEAVEN! I am so excited I found this little hidden gem! I work right down the street and peeked into the«campus» as I drove by one day and noticed people eating lunch outside… I I parked right outside the parking entrance, and walked right into a gem of a cafeteria! Salad & Sandwich bars, the cous cous and quinoa salads are delish! Rotiserrie stations, Gyros, sushi, soups, daily specials, you name it! Don’t know what you’re in the mood for… come here. You’ll find it. Fresh, healthy, and delish!!! I can eat here every day!

I generally eat here when I’m not brown-bagging it, since I work on campus. Food underwent a vast improvement a couple of years ago — I think new management came in and hit the reset button — now there’s consistently tasty, healthy, and interesting choices at the soup/salad bar, sandwich deli, Mexican, pizza, grill, or rotisserie stations. There are actually two locations on campus — Networks Café is in the 2333 building(next to the C-store, and below the fitness center) and the Garden Café is in the 3355 building on the southwest corner of campus. After eating, stroll around the perimeter walking/jogging path, try your hand at the giant-sized chess board, or check out the spirited ping-pong matches or pickup basketball games that always break out at lunchtime. This is a pretty good place to work and I’m happy to be here!

You don’t need to work on the campus to come in to this great little cafeteria! It’s just behind the guard station about halfway down Ontario. I’m a huge fan of their fresh salad bar, which is $ 6.99 per pound a la Whole Foods. Tons of fresh veggies, delicious chopped chicken cooked in their kitchen and not from a package(!) and even yummy varieties of quinoa and bulgar! Salad bar heaven! They have also have a sandwich bar, sushi chef(seems to be a teensy step above Grocery Store Sushi, but I haven’t tried it), burger grill, a hearty«every day is Thanksgiving» section and a rotating area that varies between Indian food, Mongolian BBQ-ish stir fry and other ethnic treats. Parking on Ontario can sometimes be awful, especially with all the food trucks that usually flock here around lunch time, but it’s definitely worth it. Makes me wish I worked in the area and could just walk there!

My two co-workers and I got lost trying to find this place — and we discovered many awesome things in the process! It’s about a ¾ mile walk from our office to this place. The sandwiches are delicious, and the cafeteria-type setup was really nice for girls who are used to all the fast food joints up the street. We ordered our sandwiches, made our own salads, grabbed drinks, and ate at some little tables outside. The ambiance is very casual and fun — we found ourselves thinking of ways to convince OUR company to build a beach volleyball court, or a giant chessboard(which you’ll see if you get lost and wander around, like we did). It’s definitely a nice change from drive-thru fodder, and we plan on taking another walk soon!

Networks Café and Networks Garden Café are located on the Studios Media North campus(tenants include Yahoo!, Technicolor and Kaiser-Permanente). Both have a great salad bar although my favorite is their breakfast menu. The menu changes daily and has a few sections: Breakfast, Menu in Action, Healthy Option, Soup & Chili, Deli, and Pizza. Once in a while the deli offers a turkey with brie and carmelized onion crossaint sandwich, which is divine.
