Came here with my son for breakfast. The was was OK. The service was slow, no sense of urgency. Just ok.

Flap Jacks in Burien has become our Saturday morning go to place. Their omelets and scrambles are out of this world. Paired with either pancakes or hash browns and you are guaranteed to leave full and happy. We recommend the Meat Lovers, the House, Hobo, Flap Jacks, Popeye, and Club. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars was because the one time I ordered biscuits and gravy it was disgusting. Biscuits hard and dry, gravy cold and lumpy. Do not recommend you order that at all. Otherwise awesome!

Instead of telling me «you don’t need that many carbs,» the waitress could have said, «toast doesn’t come with toast but would you like me to add that for you?»

Palatable food. But like many places, have been talked into energy saving LED lighting. That’s a good thing to save the planet and all, but«atmosphere» is the word. Food, OK. But when you can’t actually SEE the food, that’s another story. Pro tip: When you have a vintage diner, make it look good. Don’t short-change yourself on allowing people to have a great experience. Turn the lights up to eleven. Or even three. This place apparently runs on squirrel-cage power. We ate our pancakes by the warm glow of the kitchen lights.

always satisfying. I’ve been craving pancakes for days while I’ve been sick in bed and as soon as i felt okay standing up, came straight here! good servers, decent waiting time(considering I’m extremely impatient), & the serving sizes are amazing. always take home leftovers.

First time here… bacon waffle with a side of scrambled eggs and more BACON!!! Everything was good and they bought out warm syrup, which was great. Only food issue was the scrambled eggs: they were cooked too hard. Absolutely ruin. Return visit? Yes, but I’m not sure if I order the eggs again.

It’s look old style dinner but I really like here. It’s clean inside and people very nice. Good volume of menus and reasonable prices.

I stopped in today 8÷3÷15 about 10:00 I had the country fried steak & eggs hash browns. The Service & food was great. The owner I think was always asking if I needed more coffee or something else. They make you feel like family. I will be back very soon !!

My go-to breakfast joint for over a year now. Definitely try the bacon avocado burrito and the bacon waffles. If pancakes are your thing, you won’t be disappointed!

Full of nervous energy? Go here for a really good breakfast and you will calm right down. Good old fashion why-you-go-out-for-breakfast, breakfast. Homey and comfortable

I have been here twice and the food tasted ok but the first time I got a really bad stomach ache and felt nauseated but this last time I got really sick with diarrhea ! Won’t be going there again .i don’t think it’s a coincidence.

Food was bland, the waitress wasn’t very pleasant and the help barely spoke English. The juice seems like it was just a can of concentrate juice. I ordered just a basic breakfast eggs had no flavor and the hash browns either. Nothing really special, I would just go to shari’s instead.

This place on sun mid morning around 10ish is the slowest service I ever get. We been waiting for an hr and our food haven’t came in yet. I’m about to walk out soon. The server are bad. She can’t even remember our order. She have an attitude… Our food came and its cold and doesn’t look appealing at all. I’m very disappointed and very irritated. This is the worst restaurant I even been. The staff need more organization. I will never come back ever again. If I can give a star will be zero or negative. Overall not satisfied at all

Its neither here nor there. The food is okay. I had a waffle, bacon and eggs that had been decent. The waffle was not really fluffy and the eggs had been kind of gummy, but for a breakfast house, you go in with your expectations not high. The bacon was well cooked. The interior leaves a lot to be desired. The booth I sat ins other side had a rip all away through it, and it just kind of seems dull and old. The waitress was attentive and kept the coffee which was quite good flowing. If I am looking for a quick breakfast close to where I am staying I will come back here. It wont be my first choice.

Interior leaves little to be desired but the food was actually good & service was quick & friendly(although place was nearly empty). I had the Popeye omelet with home fries & wasn’t disappointed… not greasy like some omelets! Decent place to take hungry kids… cheap but big plates!

Came here a few times before and was super happy with the food and service. We came in today, not too crowded and it looked like there were plenty of staff to handle the customers. We ordered our food, then waited. And waited. The waitress never once came over to tell us food was on the way/can I get you a cracker or a chew toy while you wait for your chow? Nothing! After 40 minutes of waiting with no sign of food coming our way remotely in site, we left $ 5 for the one cup of coffee we ordered(I don’t think they deserved that) and we moved on the brighter horizons.

Came to this place with my nephews since it was the closest I found to walk to… as soon as we got there waitress sat us down… waited a few mins to get a menu since she was the only one working, she then came with menus and asked if we wanted anything to drink, I asked for waters and a Pepsi… took her about 20 mins for her to come back, she took our order and said the soda machine is broken and it’s getting fixed! so we placed our order and waited about 40 more mins… people who had arrived there after us were already eating!!! I waited a few more mins… I got nothing, so I told my nephews to get up and as we were out the door the waitress comes out and tells me that the food is ready, I told her no thanks and kept walking… she then asks«are you going to pay for the food»??? What a joke! we ended up walking to jack in the box down the street.

I used to frequent this place years ago when the décor looked straight out from the 60s or 70s. They have since renovated the inside and more modern looking and welcoming. The food is your usual traditional breakfast and lunch items and is pretty good. It’s not mind blowing or anything like that but is good and comforting. The portions are generous for the price. I’ve had the country fried steak with eggs and hash browns and it was only $ 8.95. The coffee was actually good and my cup was always kept full. The service can be a tad slow on Sunday mornings but once you’ve ordered it doesn’t take long to come out. They now serve dinner although I haven’t tried it out yet. But if you do, you will get a free fried ice cream for dessert with each meal bought.
