I have been training with Koi for just a few weeks now and am already feeling a difference between this and past efforts to get healthy. She’s exactly what I was looking for– someone who has been where I am and knows what it’s like to have to work hard to lose the weight and learn what it takes to get healthy. From her comprehensive initial assessment (and I mean comprehensive– you will work!) to a customized training plan (not off the shelf– it’s what your specific body needs) and great group classes, Koi offers it all. I get both the 1:1 attention and the energy from being with other folks in a class. Perhaps the greatest testament to Koi is the fact that she has many long-​time clients. I also travel a lot for work and really appreciate her help in building a workout plan I can do anywhere. She holds me accountable and checks in on my progress with motivational texts:). I’m learning how to integrate exercise into my life in a way that I haven’t before and am rebuilding my confidence, thanks to Koi.

Koi’s is a great motivator, when amazing energy and charisma. I enjoyed her high energy, rigorous kickboxing class — and I plan to return for another round of kick butt fitness training!

I love the classes they keep me motivated and I have stayed in the gym going on 4 years now! Although any class is great I look forward to Saturday morning classes! Seaquoyia is definitely the best trainer that I have been guided by!

I never really liked to excercise but I know that it good for me. I went to i Personal Training with my friend for an initial visit to see what the place was all about. I was immediately impressed by the no pressure sales and Seaquoyiah’s genuine care about health and fitness. If you are ready to challenge yourself and see changes to your body, your numbers, your overall quality of life… GO SEE SEAQUOYIAH! !! I have been with her for a year and I keep coming back week after week. The personal training and nutrition are AMAZING the classes will kick your butt! I love it here. It is not a fashion show or a pick up joint it so if that is what you want stay away. But if you are ready to get healthy this is the place! No contracts. Affordable. Convenient. AWESOME! Seaquyoiah is a gym-​master and passionate about getting me fit: o For me she represents the hard-​to-​find right balance of qualities for a personal coach: a little ruthless, a lot supportive, laid back and yet very focused and goal-​oriented. I feel like she has a vision that is more ambitious than my own, which is kind of cool because I’ve gotten SO out of shape that my expectations are a lot lower than they were ten and twenty years ago. But Mz. S has my back and wants me to look slim, sleek and strong. Who am I to argue?
It has to be said too that this is personal training that is very affordable, relative to others of her caliber and her rates make it possible for me to go to her regularly. I am beginning to see results, which is remarkable given my off and on, half-​assed commitment – but as I said, Seaquyoiah means business. While there is no need to be in the least bit intimidated, she does expect you to work out to your outer limit.
I hear her classes are amazing too (how I first learned about her) but I am just doing the one-​on-​one training for the time being. Oh yes, and Burpie, her female (that’s right) tiny dog is adorable.
