I used to like this place. But their prices have gone up and they don’t buy your clothes when you attempt to trade in. Even if they are new/​name brand. Definitely no longer worth the trip for us.

I just left this place and I couldn’t help but come on here to write an awesome review! Susan, the owner was so nice and friendly! When I was in the store she was telling me about different community centers that have play dates for children (I’m a new mom) she took $ 90 worth of my stuff and at the end she asked to see a picture of my daughter (so sweet). It’s not often you run into business owners who work at their own store and who are so nice and considerate. I was very pleased and will def be going back soon and I have already told 3 friends about the store today! Thanks Susan for a great 1^st experience!

Susan has been very friendly with me for several years but 2 transactions left me feeling naïve and wary toward her business style.
Earlier this year I took in a bag of children’s snow boots. She called me to say she was not interested in them and asked if I preferred to pick them up from her store or donate them. I confirmed I wanted to donate them. The very next day a friend of mine said she was looking for child size snow boots and I thought «perfect!» so I called Lollipops to recover the unwanted boots. The assistant told me Susan actually wanted the boots and had already taken them home. I was shocked because I was told the exact opposite.
I called Susan to understand the situation and she explained she actually wanted the boots but wanted to pay me in a few months time, in the fall, due to budget limitations. Although this was not forthright I agreed because I had been shopping there for years and had developed trust with Susan.
More recently I took in a bag with several beautiful name brand summer dresses and blouses, shoes, capri pants in excellent condition. I was impatient for the credit so I waited for Susan to go through my items, which unfortunately, she could not because she had to leave. So I left my bags there trusting I would hear from her soon.
A few days later when I checked on the status of my items, her assistant could not find my things nor could she find a credit for me in the ledger so the assistant called Susan.
Susan’s version was that Susan went through my things IN FRONT OF ME (which never happened) the day I brought my items in, she told me no thank you to everything and then I left the store simply leaving the bags behind. What is more, at that point Susan also communicated through her assistant that I could not recover my things because she had taken them home as donation items and they had already been picked up.
Susan did not go through my things in front of me the day I brought them in, she did not tell me she did not want my items the day I brought them in, I would have never ‘donated’ my things through Lollipops again due to the previous experience of ‘donating’ (I have not seen any money or credit from the boots she had kept from months before) and it was difficult to believe someone could tell me this happened (through her assistant) when it never did.
Thus, I called Susan the next business day to understand the situation and after a lengthy telephone conversation trying to understand Susan’s logic and explanations, we had to agree to disagree on what happened. However, after finding out that there are donation bins at both Susan’s house and the store, understandably because of the nature of her business, why haul things to the donation bin at home instead of using the bin at the shop? Why not call to confirm what the owner of the items prefers to do with the unwanted apparel? Why not write the credit for the boots (or other items) in the store ledger instead of a ledger at home? Why take clothes or anything without providing a credit or check the day you keep them?
Illogical and shifty.
I received no call asking what I prefer they do with my items Lollipops did not want on that particular occasion, I received none of those items back because they had been collected from Susan’s donation bin at her personal residence and I received no money or credit in return for those 2 recent transactions, NOTHING.
After our lengthly, unfruitful conversation Susan offered to give me a couple pairs of shoes for my children to repair bad feelings but I don’t want free clothes to mend relations. I would prefer transparancy.
Buy there, sell there (and make sure you get paid on the spot), but consider donating to the Burien women’s shelter if you really want to donate.

Susan is super friendly and looks thru every piece carefully. She’s very polite too :))

I love everything about them. I wish they weren’t so far away.

We were visiting from out of state and wandered into to Lollipops. Holy cow, shouldn’t have packed a spare suitcase! This place was awesome!!! Amazing prices on kids clothes that could have passed for brand new! And the shop owner was so nice. She told us about their sale, and even gave us some flags and things for the July 4^th holiday! Worth going back for sure!

I absolutely love this shop! I found it about 2 years ago looking for an activity table for my son! And sure enough she had 3! In very good condition! I have been coming back every since selling and buying items! The store is packed with everything you can think of for pretty much all ages! I found a north face coat for myself valued at 100 I picked it up for 20, in great condition! My son now 2 ½ looks forward to coming here! I recommend this place to everyone I know!

This consignment store is really worth your while. The customer service here is top-​notch. The selection of clothes and toys and shoes is really unbelievable. It’s really a hidden gem.

Reasonable selection, cruddy location. It took a long time for anyone to see if I needed help on my first and only visit. Felt a little grungy in the shop.

Great store! Went today for the first time, as I had been looking for a store that buys-​outright. I went first thing in the morning and they processed the items I had brought in immediately. The money/​credit offered was extremely fair. The staff were also very nice. After shopping for awhile, I asked a second salesperson for help on a couple of specialty type items and she was very knowledgeable about the store’s inventory. I give them four stars instead of five, only because there wasn’t that large of a selection at each size for boys. Still well worth the trip and great if you really don’t want to deal with consigning your things.

Now that I’m having child #3 I have recently discovered this magical world of children’s consignment shops… This is one of the gems that got me started on my newest addiction of scoring adorable outfits for my kids at ¼ the price!
This store is small, yet jam packed with great finds. They has some baby furniture, maternity clothes, baby and children’s clothes up to size 14 I think. They also have books, toys, and cloth diapers!
I found the most adorable name branded outfits in mint condition for a super great deal. Although I live pretty far– I will definetly make a point to drive out to this store :)

I’ve been back on and off since my last review. I really like this place. The only drawback is there’s a guy that occasionally works the counter who doesn’t always seem happy to be there. But he won’t keep me away, especially after last weeks visit which was the best yet. I went to trade in some toys that my toddler has outgrown. I left with a Little Tikes slide and kitchen/​grill for less than half what they would cost brand new, and I saved even more with my trade-​ins! The owner even offered to deliver the kitchen since it was too big for our car (it helps that we live less than two miles away).
Definitely worth a visit.

My kids are 20ish now… but when they were younger I was a frequent customer at this fine Burien shop. I had an on going credit in exchange for the items I brought in. Grace, was always very helpful and had some good advice to share. They only accepted the best items so you can count on good quality. I could always find something I thought my kids needed. .NH, Burien

This is my favorite baby and children’s consignment shop in Seattle. If your stuff is good (not faded, no stains, not too wrinkly) and in the right season she’ll usually take it right away unless it’s a gigantic BAG that she has to go through. And she pays pretty good in my experience.
I also love shopping here, I’ve found some great scores!

I’m fortunate that this place is so convenient to our family (we live really close by – and my husband works just across the street!).
In the 7 months since our son was born we’ve gotten some really indispensable items here, at very reasonable prices, for example…
— a Graco swing, which was so handy in getting the little guy to fall asleep from months 1 – 5.
— a Baby Einstein activity gym. (I was *this close* to buying brand new at Target for $ 70, and Lollipops had it for $ 30 — phew!)
— a Fisher Price Jumperoo which keeps baby occupied and exercised every day these days. He loves it!
— both a Boppy and a My-​Breast-​Friend nursing pillow (each at about 50% of retail cost)
— a baby bath tub in perfect condition
— a «Skwish» toy (usually $ 17, but I got it for $ 6)
— plus a few clothing items
Some of the items have been older models, but I agree with other reviewers that you’ll only find merchandise here that is in great condition — and the owner is very diligent about checking for recalls.

Well the truth will speak for itself when people sale or shop there. The amount that is paid for brand news items is about 95% less than what you paid for it and it’s sold for a much larger price. Make a trip to the store if you’re looking for consigment shopping and you can see for yourself. The clothes there cost barely less than you can buy new.
If people think it’s fair for the owner to pay $ 3 – 5 for something brand new that cost $ 40 and wasn’t even used then sale it for $ 25 this is the shop for you.

It’s a really great place to find cute clothes at. But I’m still in need of a changing tablew for my daughter and the one she had there was $ 89.99– the same price for a new one. I could have gone to Babies R Us to buy one for that price that matches the crib. It’s a tose up between cheap clothes but expensive furnature.

This one is for my wife. She loves the place. It is a consignment shop but she likes the people and loves the selection — high quality and great prices. It is a bit of a pain because they won’t take any crap you bring in but that is the way they end up with great quality stuff. She just drops the left overs that they won’t take at the local thrift store.

This store is GREAT for the mommy… or daddy that doesn’t want to spend a fortune on cute clothes. I am one of those moms myself and refuse to buy expensive baby clothes when my daughter continues to grow like a weed.
Lollipops is a RESALE shop for children’s, and both womens regular and prego clothes. I found some super cute clothes for my daughter that were all in great shape and they were all name brands like Zutano, GAP, and Old Navy.
It’s got awesome parking too. Right on the street in front of the store. AMEN to good parking in this town!

I think I over rated this place before. I went back a few times and was kind disappointed. The lady wasn’t really taking items both times, and she said it takes a week to go through your stuff. I don’t wanna leave my stuff and come back a week later. I WANT IT NOW! :)
