El Pollo Regio

The chicken is so flavor-​ful! I always get the half-​chicken and it comes with salsa (green and red), rice and beans, tortillas, grilled whole onion and lemons all for under $ 10! Must try!

Fresh and tasty food with quality customer service and nice people that actually care. Try the half chicken special for lunch, comes with rice, beans and a drink too. The green sauce is so addictive!

Took over 35 minutes to get the order. The person was very rude and told us he was new working in there. When in fact he wasn’t new at all. When we asking for the corporate number he throw the number and the food at us. Now I got food poison. Never coming back to any pollo regio specially this one.

I keep seeing these El Pollo Regio’s pop up all over the place. One day, I decided to give it a try when I found one kinda ish close to me other than Arlington and Camp Bowie.
I like the chicken. It’s pretty good. However, I LOVE the Carne Asada and the Quesadillas. The quesadillas are pretty good, but the Carne is my favorite. They give you two sauces with it a red and green sauce. The green is spicy, but good. You get rice and beans as well. The Carne Asada meal is about $ 8 and they give you A LOT. The styrofoam container is filled with meat plus an onion and pico.
Even though they have a drive thru, it takes about 10 minutes to get your food. Which is fine with me because that means it’s freshly made!
This location is right around the corner from a Chik Fil A, so when the kids want Chik Fil A, mama goes here!

My wife and I enjoyed their lunch special today, consisting of the best grilled chicken and onion, like I would have grilled myself, with a side of pinto beans flavored with bacon and jalapeños, freshly made corn tortillas, hot green chili pepper sauce, fresh mild salsa, and wonderful sweet tea. Even the rice was good! We’ll definitely be back for more!
