This place is Amazing!!! I had a gift certificate and went in today for a Gel manicure. The staff is probably some of the nicest people I have ever met. They are so attentive to their customers and go the extra mile to make sure you have a good experience. They even included a shoulder massage in addition to a hand massage. My gels came out great and I think I can say I’ve found a new nail salon as my go to. I highly recommend trying them out!

This spa changed ownership over a year ago and the new owner is mean to her staff and rude to customers. Ha, the best manicurist, left because of her. I’ve been getting gel manicures there for over 18 months. The last two gel manicures chipped within 4 days, and the owner refused to refund the gel, and treated me very rudely. I will take my business elsewhere due to the owner, not the gals who work for her.

Went in for a shellac manicure and while the shellac was soaking off the nail technician gave me a shoulder massage. Totally unexpected and awesome surprise! It was relaxing, while at the same time quick and thorough, which is nice when you are busy.
I would recommend this nail spa to any of my friends. Can’t wait to get a pedicure!

The ownership has changed, I will never go to this place again!
I was a longtime customer always getting my pedicure here. The last time I got my pedicure I was told the place was under new management, I thought it would be fine so I took a seat. The lady that worked on my pedicure scrubbed the top of my toe nails so hard she damaged the nail bed, they turned white with all the scratches and they became tender to the touch. The lady also nipped me so many times I was bleeding she kept pouring on something to clean it with, the bleeding kept coming and the lady starts painting my nails then finishes and says Thank You!
I went home looking horrible, i had to remove the polish because my toes were red and getting infected. After removing the polish is when i noticed the scratched bed of the nails is why my toes were throbbing!

Awesome nail spot. Walked in, got 2 pedicures right away, water and cookie, and the massage chairs are AMAZING! Prices are reasonable and service was great.

Kind of torn about this place. Came here for a pedi and that itself was good. I especially liked the extra long massage. But I question the sanitation. The tools didn’t look clean and all of their supplies are stored in old Madeleine cookie containers. I hope i’m just being paranoid… my feet haven’t fallen off yet so I guess i’m safe O_​o

I received a gift certificate for this salon. I’ve experienced poor service in other salons when using certificates but not here. Tiffany and Julie were amazing– they took their time and helped me select colors, and engaged in great conversation. Loved the attention I received here.

Great little spot! Super service and reasonable prices. Took their time. One of the best pedis I’ve had in awhile!

I live nearby and love this place. Their 10 min massages are very high quality and top off each pedicure. Their whole environment is very zen. I really appreciate the peaceful atmosphere combined with the professional service. They are very sweet too. I exclusively go here now!

I was a walk in appointment today. 3 months old under new ownership. The upstairs location is lovely… beautiful orchids in the entryway, jars of m&m’s, wine, madeline cookies, 2 big sections of nail colors to choose from, tea, 8 – 9 new massage chairs with a zillion massage settings, and lots of afternoon light! There are about 8 – 9 new massage chairs that are bliss! Wendy, my esthetician was great. She was informative, and inquisitive about how to provide the right amount of pressure during the massage to my legs and feet during my Deluxe Pedicure $ 40. The Deluxe Pedicure includes the extras: hot stone massage, lavender exfoliation, moisturizer, and foot mask. A basic pedicure is $ 30 and $ 1 for every extra minute of massage if you prefer the opt out of the hot stone extras.

I arrived for an unscheduled pedicure and was told by Cindy to return in 30 minutes when I returned I was told by a rude lady I had never seen before that Cindy is busy and that she wanted to do my pedicure. I said I only have Cindy do my nails. She continued saying someone else could do my pedicure. I again said I only come here to see Cindy. She was in my personal space and continued. I said I will wait and she said again she or someone else would do my pedicure. That Cindy is busy with other clients that showed up unexpectedly while I was gone. (If I’m returning per Cindy then how and why do you accept other persons for the same nail artist???) When I asked how long is the wait she told me an hour and a half. I said I’ll come another day. She again was saying about someone else doing my pedicure and I told her to back up from me. She was very rude.
You don’t tell someone to return and then say they can’t be seen because you decided to take other people when you told me to leave and return by a certain time. Then separately have a rude person as your ambassador who does not care that you only want to see who you came to see.
I’ve been a regular here for years for various services and I’m not sure I will return. Which I’m sad about…

Love their service. Always feel like a million bucks leaving this spa. I once went in with a pedi I messed up and they fixed it free of charge. Now that’s what I call great service!

Love this salon! From the incredibly nice employees to the excellent gel color choices, fabulous massages with your manicure, and complimentary snacks and wifi, you can’t go wrong by getting your nails done here!

Not really impressed. We went in for mani/pedi’s. My daughter and I were seated for our pedicures. They start removing her gel while another one is doing her pedicure. I was sitting there soaking my feet. The girl comes over around 5 minutes after my daughter started. The lady doing my pedicure ask if I was getting a manicure my response was YES! My pedicure was ok even though she cut my toe. My pedicure was over before my daughters was. I NEVER got my manicure. Was offered a neck wrap after my pedicure was over. Never asked what pedicure we wanted.

If I could give no star I would. My daughter just came back from there after getting her nails done before her formal dance tomorrow. They cut into her cuticles and skin of her fingers all over and she was bleeding pretty badly. 4 of her fingers are all red and she is in pain. Being young she did not say much and she said the woman who did her nails just poured disinfectant over it and it burnt.
What a horrible place! Stay away!

My go to nail place normally but a bit chaotic when their regular receptionist isn’t here. Here’s hoping that’s a temporary thing!

I’ve been to Aerial three times now. The first two times were for pedicures. PROs: clean, airy, polite receptionist and good color selections. CONs: It’s on the second floor (if you have wet toes, beware the stairs) and not all nail techs are created equal (ditto for any salon).
The third time, I went in for a gel mani and regular pedi. The pedi anywhere is usually the problem since it can get sloppy (I hate missed sides of the toe nails). The gel manicure by Tran lasted less than one week! I noticed a few days later that the ends of my nails looked like they were ready to lift off. At day 5 (today), they look a mess and one has lifted off at the end.
My normal is two weeks. I do the regular things including washing my hands, giving my son a bath, etc. I do not use harm chemicals without gloves since my skin is sensitive.
I think the lesson is: ask for the best tech ( Unilocal might be a great help here) otherwise, you may just get the person who needs the practice.
I am not blaming the salon itself. I’ll give it another try and will alert them to my dissatisfaction today.

AND something else that is really important to me – there is very little conversation amongst the employees. When I go to get a pedicure, I like things to be quiet. It’s similar to a spa experience and I very much appreciate the employees’ ability to just keep things calm in that atmosphere. Will definitely go back!

Best place by far. So friendly. I love the deluxe pedicure ! Hot wax & hot rocks. I’ve been coming here for over a year, I drive more than an hour. I love the ambiance it’s so relaxing ! Come here if you want to be pampered the right way!

This was my first time at Aerial and I have to thank fellow Unilocal-​ers for the recommendation! I wanted a place that was open earlier than the shops on Burlingame ave and I walked right in and got a seat. I got a gel French manicure and the woman did a great job! Very thorough! I loved the neck pillow and back massage chair. My neck has been hurting me and this was just what I needed! I also loved the extra neck/​shoulder/​arm massage I received when my nails were drying. Definitely worth the extra money! It cost $ 40 for a gel French.
I would definitely return!
