Came here for a quick lunch for 3. Sat down for 10 mins, no one asked whether we needed anything to drink. Finally got someone’s attention and ordered food. Food took about more than 20 mins to arrive, there was only about 3 tables. Since it was an open kitchen, the kitchen staff were just wandering around.
Food was okay, average. Not the best I have had for its price. Most likely would not come back.

We usually come here for lunch (hubs and me). We actually just finished having lunch together. Something surprising happened with my salad, but the male staff member handled the situation. We’ve always come here for lunch at least once a week. So having an incident as such is rare. Nothing is perfect… Learn from experiences…

I’m a regular here and would rate 5 stars for the food. Came in today for lunch and the waitress was rude from the start. Yeah we came in close to closing time at 2:30 (I was unaware of this) she was so unfriendly to my friends and I. We ordered 4 rolls which were all delicious and a salad to start, the rolls took for ever because she didn’t bring them and the salad came after we finished our meal.

Not your typical Japanese restaurant– food doesn’t taste like you’d expect, but it’s not bad.
personally, I was dissatisfied because it wasn’t the chicken teriyaki dinner I expected but it wasn’t disgusting and I wouldn’t say I didn’t enjoy it.

San Mateo, CA
I used to frequent this restaurant about seven years ago and the food was amazing. However, I live in San Mateo and I found a sushi restaurant that was just as good that we could walk to and we didn’t go back. My favorite restaurant closed down a few weeks ago and I went to Baracuda last Friday night. The food was terrible. I was shocked. Not even the same place at all. I don’t know if they sold to someone else or what but I won’t be going back.
