I’ve been their customer for more than 5 years now and never had a problem. fast service, great job… I had a white pant with wine stains allover was going to throw away but the man on the front was so sure that he can make it looks like brand new…
after several day I picked up my pant and wow… it was amazing. he really got it out!!!
he told me he used onion and some natural ingredient mix. to get stain out. also perfect alteration… fast… reliable.
I would give 100 stars for them…

BOTTOM LINE: RUDE, POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE AND CHEAP BUSINESS OWNERS. I’d rather pay a little more elsewhere.
FIRST: If you’re a man or wife looking for a cheap place to bring your husband’s dress shirts read the warnings of others as well as mine about those paper tags ruining your shirts.
SECOND: if they lose a piece of your dry cleaning (they did with mine) don’t expect an apology or for them to cover the loss. The dragon lady at the counter had the nerve to blame me and say that I miscounted when I dropped my clothes off! She’s the one that counted them! SMH
THIRD: She stared at me and shook her head as she ran my debit card for payment because I didn’t have $ 9 in cash to pay for my dry cleaning. I asked her if something was wrong and she said «you don’t have cash? it’s $ 9. we offer the $ 1.50 promotion but you should pay cash» Um I’m sorry but running a legitimate business means accepting credit card payments lady.
LASTLY: I gave this place several chances and each time I was treated poorly. Never a thank you or even a smile. And two other times I went there, the younger man that worked there saw me come in and continued what he was doing at the desk (on his phone) or the dragon lady (talking on her phone) made me wait several minutes before coming to the counter. They don’t even bother saying I’ll be right with you or would you mind waiting. SMH
If I could give zero stars I would. Everyone read the negative reviews and be warned. Don’t let the $ 1.50 advertising suck you in. This place really sucks. The worst part about it is honestly the customer service. It’s a dry cleaner so imagine how bad you have to be to offend people in this business.

I read all the bad reviews but took a chance since this place had the most affordable prices with men’s shirts ($ 1.50/shirt when you bring 3 or more). What a deal!!!
I called around Burlingame and San Mateo and the prices that were quoted for one men’s shirt laundry/​pressed were $ 2.95, $ 2.65, $ 1.95 and the most competitive one at $ 1.75. It may not be a huge difference per piece but it adds up over time.
I picked up the shirts yesterday and they were all cleaned and pressed — no damages and no staples on the clothes ;)
The lady in the front was very friendly and thoughtful. I had my car parked illegally for a minute to pick up the clothes. She told me to rush back to the car and that she would swipe my credit card and bring it to me. She then watched me safely get back into my car and waved while I drove away. Super sweet.
I only washed men’s shirts so I can’t vouch for all dry-​cleaning work.

I can only confirm what the other reviews have said. Awful customer service plus this business is just plain old poorly run.
First visit: dropped off 2 dresses, 2 pants, 4 shirts, 1 blanket. Got a ticket and verbal confirmation everything would be ready on Tuesday.
Second visit (Tuesday): nothing is ready. Why are you here on Tuesday you were supposed to come on Wednesday. No, the ticket says Tuesday, today is Tuesday, I want my clothes. Basically, I threw a fit so they rushed into the back and quickly steamed some things. I was told that 1 of the pants and the blanket would be ready on Thursday now. Of course I couldn’t come on Thursday but I said see you Saturday. I paid for all of the clothing items at this point.
Third visit (Saturday): Even after my earlier experience I showed up with several shirts and pants to drop off. Gave the woman my ticket, she spins and spins and spins the thingy, goes to the back, comes back and spins it around some more, asks me what the pants look like, disappears and comes back, spins some more while I stop her at every khaki ish colored pants I see. The blanket was missing as well, but she managed to find that within a few minutes. After being in this place for over 15 minutes we (meaning my sister and I, not the employee) finally found the pants. The woman did not apologize just said «Oh she crazy» apparently directed at another employee. She then tried to charge me for the blanket and pants. I said no way and she didn’t persist. She then started to pick up the clothes I had on the counter (the ones I brought to drop off) and I quickly took them from her and said, «No, that’s alright» and walked out the door.
…down the street to A1 Cleaners and never looked back.

A rundown place with awful customer service.
A few months ago they lost my husband’s pants. Well, when I went to pick up his drycleaning the other day, the woman at the cashier handed me these «lost» pants and even had the nerve to CHARGE me for these! Let me also just note that the whole time she was helping me, she was on the phone chatting away with her friend. I finally asked her to get off the phone so that we could talk about these lost pants and why I was being charged for them. She rolled her eyes at me… really? When she finally got off the phone, I told her that I was happy they found the pants but I didn’t think it was right for them to charge me for the drycleaning since they have been lost for two months! She kept saying «What’s wrong, What’s wrong? They’re clean!» No apology whatsoever. I finally gave up and told her that I would be taking my business elsewhere.
STAY AWAY FROM THEM.

WARNING! These guys will take your money even when they know they cannot get a job done in time. I take care of an elderly lady whom I only see Wed and Thurs and she always needs her dry cleaning taken in Wed morn and back before I leave her at 3 Thurs. Before I had them do the first batch they agreed they could get it back in time, so I gave them the business. I went there 3 times and never looked at the clothing until the last time since it’s not my clothing. I had time to kill on the last batch and decided to scan them in the sunlight and saw every single stain that was on them still there as well as my clients hair all over, just as it was when I brought the garments in… which means all they did was hang them neatly on hangers so it looked like they cleaned them. My client paid about $ 36 every week for 3 weeks to have her clothes not cleans and hung up neatly. This place is a scam and has no right being in business.

You know those little paper tags a cleaner attaches to your garments? The ones fastened with a staple that you yank right off in the morning as you get dressed?
These guys missed the tag and stapled through a favorite shirt instead. If I had been in a bigger hurry this morning, I’d have yanked the staple clean through the fabric, ruining the shirt. As it is, there’s a bit of frayed thread from before I realized the trouble.
In years of going to cleaners, I’ve never seen that kind of sloppiness. Add to that the military grade starch job they’ve done and I’m not coming back.

Sucks out loud. I have been taking my dry cleaning to these guys since I moved to Burlingame in 2006 and they repay me by ruining a $ 150 shirt and refusing to accept any responsibility. I delivered a bunch of shirts to them only to receive on my favorites back with giant ink stains all over the front and back. Yes, that’s how they put them in the pastic and returned them to me like I wouldn’t notice. Idiots. And no, it definitely was not there when I gave it to them. My wife attempted to talk some sense into them only to be rebuffed twice as they showed the worst customer services that I’ve ever seen from a business that theoretically relies heavily on word of mouth. So here’s my word of mouth for you Primrose Cleaners… YOU SUCK! And I will make sure all of my friends and acquaintances in the Burlingame area know just how much you suck. Enjoy the power of social media aholes.

I’ve been here twice to have my husband’s shirts laundered. The washing job is fine but both times a couple of the shirts had large iron creases in the front and back of the shirt. — something which seems careless to me and tells me the quality control isn’t the best. They’re friendly enough though, and it’s $ 1.65 a shirt which is a pretty good value near Burlingame Ave.

Great cozy neighborhood drycleaner. I’ve been here for drycleaning and alterations. They’ve always been very friendly and have decent prices. Turnaround is great.
It usually takes me a while to ‘warm up’ to a drycleaner (I’m resistant to the idea of some stranger touching my clothes), but they’re very down-​to-​earth and honest if they can or cannot do something within your requested time-​frame.
Closed Sundays and open until 6:30p, M-​F (open at 7a); Saturdays, 8a-​4p.
