Usually clean enough, but be aware some dryers don’t provide full time you pay for. I put money into three dryers within a minute of each other, and when the first dryer stopped, the time remaining on other two was three and six minutes…

Where did all the carts go??? There were only 6. They used to have a lot. I had to use my bag and go back and forth a lot of times to transfer my newly washed clothes to the dryer. People are holding on to their carts even they don’t need them yet because there were NO enough carts!!! To the owner: PLS Add more carts !!! tHANKS!!!

The prices at this laundromat keep creeping up. In the past few months it’s gone up at least twice! The part that sucks is that the machines will eat up your coins! Then you have to go through the hassle to move your laundry from one machine to the next then try to get a reimbursement! Really! If the prices are going up… it would be nice if the machines would work consistently.

I hate laundry mats all together, because you never know what some washed there earlier and it makes me nervous I hate dirty rugs and I can’t stop thinking someone washed their dirty bathroom rug in the washer I’m about to use. but really that’s what a laundry mat is. So I think we should all stop complaining and get your own machine at home if you want to complain. it’s not the companies responsibility to watch what people are washing. So I understand and that’s why I bring my Lysol and bleach and give the machine a good wiping before I use. Anyways…
I like Mrs. bubbles because even if you walk in at 11:15pm to do your load, you can still get your loads done even if your after midnight. I’ve come here twice now and the cleaners clean up and leave you to do your laundry even if it’s past midnight! Wohooo because it’s nice and quiet, freshly cleaned and your all alone. My best advice is to catch the last hour! It’s pretty clean in here compared to other laundry mats in the area.

Oh my god, please find another place to wash your clothes. The machines are dirty. On more than one occasion I found hair in the machines. It doesn’t seem like they keep this place clean at all. Half the machines are broken and they refuse to give your money back if you accidentally put money into an out of order machine. The owner calls himself Mr. Bubbles, but don’t think it describes his personality! He’s rude and disrespectful to anyone that provides him with feedback. Do yourself a favor and take your business elsewhere!

Industrial washers and dryers for things that don’t fit into your home or apartment washer. I also found this place handy when my home washer broke down.
Kind of expensive.
Reasonably clean, I mean as any other laundry.
Parking may be a problem depending on the time.

Not dirty but not clean either so I don’t use the tables to fold my laundry. The benches in the place need a thorough washing. My DH came here once and was told to keep an eye on his laundry as there are transients that will steal from unattended machines. I never had this problem. It is what it is – a neighborhood laundromat that serves it’s purpose which is to wash and sanitize my linens since they are too big to fit in the apartment’s machines.
PS – free wifi with a pretty strong signal as I am using it from the comfort of my car.

Their Quarter Machine took my $ 20 bill. I left a message to «Mr & Mrs Bubbles Coin Laundries» about it. Within 1 week, I had a check for $ 20 from them even with a letter of apology for the inconvenience. Now THAT’s great customer appreciation. Go here! They’re AWESOME :)

They open at 5AM which is why I love this place! I can get my laundry done before my day even begins. The downside of Mrs. Bubbles is that there’s no wifi, but I can live. I’ve been here as early as 4AM and it’s open. Awesome for early birds!

this is my usual every 2 month stop since i am a shop-​a-​holic and a bit of a pack rat, it takes me that long to go through all the sheets and towels.
i use the big daddy machines in front for $ 8.00 and hold 6 yes SIX loads but i usually end up using them both with the comforter and bathrooms mats. they also have a mack daddy dryer which is 6 minutes for 25 cents… since sheets dry fast i can usually get out of there for around $ 20.
after loading the washer, i walk to burlingame avenue for a coffee and bagel, by the time i return my wash is just about done… this takes roughly 28 minutes… the i load the dryer and enjoy breakfast.
the machines and coin changer work well 99% of the time, the restroom has always been clean but people do tend to leave their dryer sheets on the ground. the owner is friendly and hosts annual holiday gigs… i havent been there but seemed like a nice idea.

Clean organized place. Machines are well functioning. Good atmosphere in a good area.

Facilities — NO WIFI. I know it says so on their website, but there is NO WIFI. Minus one star. Place is clean, prices are reasonable. I do laundry maybe once a month. I used the big daddy $ 8 washer and three smaller $ 2.50 washers. Still cheaper than wash and fold. Will be interesting to see if I can get this all done for less than $ 20.
I really felt like I had to watch my stuff here. I lived in SF for years and never stayed at the Laundry place, here it is a bit different. I know this is Burlingame, but I kept my bags close to me, and kept looking over my shoulder. I came on a Thursday, around 11:30am and the place was busy.
I don’t know if I will be back, probably want to try a few more places before I pick. At this rate, I might just do laundry at my apartment and pay the premium.

There’s this really sketchy little shopping center in San Mateo on Delaware and… third or fourth I think? The one with the 7 – 11 and the only Starbucks I’ve heard of in recent history that went out of business. That’s where I used to do my laundry when I needed the oversized washers for carpets, sleeping bags, etc. I HATED going there! It was dirty, smelled bad, and had machines that swallowed quarters and then you had to try and find somebody to give you a refund of call a number up on the wall that connected you with some surly ruffian. It also seemed like people were constantly looking at my laundry just waiting for me to leave so that they could do something weird to it.
The Bubbles family laundry is in a much mellower, nicer part of town near Burlingame. I sure wished I still like eating at Ramen Club because it’s right next door! Ah, but that’s something for another post.
Bubbles is clean and well-​organized with room to move around and a nice fresh breeze coming in. It doesn’t feel like you’re stuffed into somebody’s warm, pungent armpit like a lot of the other local laundries. I feel comfortable hanging out there and reading a book without having to keep an eye on anything or anybody. I’m only docking it a star because of the seating which is borderline torture! They’re these little wooden slat seats that basically turn your butt into a speed bump if you sit on them too long. I usually end up going outside and sitting in my car to wait for the laundry to get done.

Can’t comment about the facility b/​c the change machine ate my cash! Oh and when I called the number and spoke to the owner, he gave me some attitude. If you know me or have read my reviews, there is one fine detail that I pay very close attention to and that’s attitude. I HATE a bad attitude more than anything else. That being said, with plenty of other options, I’m not coming back to this place but I appreciate the opportunity to practice patience.

This place is all right. I needed the large washer and it was just fine.
Parking was a problem. Little ladies eating their lunch on the folding table bugged me a lot. Apparently they think it is their table and one of them guards it at all times even though they aren’t folding anything. Kinda funny!
There is a restroom.

Washing machine 33 is broken. Ate five of my hard earned dollars. I will never go here again.
Edit: I have come back since this review, but only to get quarters for the working laundry machines at my girlfriend’s apartment.

My laziness is well documented. We all know by now that even though I have a full sized washer and dryer in my unit I send my laundry out. Lets face it, this is a huge time saver and the added bonus of my friendly laundry service not only washes but folds as well. Take away the folding and I would take my business elsewhere or do it myself.
The other extreme is, there are times I actually need to wash my clothes myself. But more often than not I head to the Laundromat.
Yes, I am serious.
I do have a valid reason for this. Just hear me out.
See, when I have an emergency load of laundry and my fluff and fold is closed or my load is actually less than a full load usually these are times when I have whites and colored clothes. This would mean that washing at home would take twice as long. To remedy this I head down to Bubbles Laundromat and get busy. This place is literally around the corner from my house and is less than a three-​minute walk from the front door of my building (2 minutes if I cut through the Valero gas station). There is free wifi so I can continue to read Bubbles reviews while sitting at Bubbles. They also have vending machines that are stocked with multiple brands of washing detergent and a wide range of bleaches.
The washers here seem to be slightly bigger than mine, but the total run time seems to be a little longer. But when utilizing two different washers at the same time it all comes out in the wash. And considering this is a place where one comes to clean things, this place is in need of it’s own cleaning. But seeing that this place is always busy and open for hours on end, I can see where this would be no easy task.
This Bubbles is not nearly as hot as my Bubbles, but it is reliable and always there when I am in need.

If you have to do laundry (and who doesn’t?), Mrs. Bubbles is the place. Clean and cheerful, free wi-​fi, big machines so you can get in and out quickly. The Ramen Club next door is recommended if washing your clothes makes you hungry. If you don’t feel like Ramen, check out the cheesesteak shop.
Their hours mean it doesn’t matter whether you’re an early bird, a night owl, or a «throw in a load over lunchtime» kind of person. Open on holidays, too.
Plus all the other little amenities — ATM, change machine, soap machine.

Mrs. Bubbles is a filthy, filthy whore…
The machines are usually nasty and cost way too much! The small machines (top loading) are ineffective. I tried to wash a bed spread by its self in one and it did not clean it. They also require that you stand by to apply softener if you please.
When everything is all dry, I strongly recommend that you take your clothes home to fold. The counter tops here are always excessively greasy. I have folded clean clothes on them before and have gotten grease spots on my clothes…

Before moving from SM to MP I wanted to wash my down comforter and regular comforter. My apt building machines would not have a chance with them so I researched on Unilocal the local laundromats. Mrs. Bubbles got some nice reviews so off I went. Thankfully I could show up in my scruffies and just hang out while they got fluffy clean.
The place is nice though a bit run down; I do like the nicely painted walls. That’s fine as all I wanted was clean machines and no crowd. For the two items I spent $ 15 which was far less than the $ 80 I’d have paid to have it done professionally. Took me about two hours which was faster than I expected.
