Found this place through Unilocal.Came here towards last hour so no wait time. Friendly customer service. If you like soft crab cakes smothered in creamy poach eggs, crabby pants is a must try. Monte crystal is good as long as you pair it with maple syrup to get the taste of both the savory and sweet flavor.

This restaurant is located at the Burlingame Shopping District. It is a really cute café but quite small so there was around a 15 minutes wait when I went there on a Sunday morning. We ordered Sujuk Scramble and Rise and Shine. The Sujuk Scramble was not delicious, the proportion of the scramble and sausage was not even and the sausage had an acquired taste. Rise and Shine was average in taste. On top of those, the dishes come in small portions at this café and for its price, they are on the pricier side.

Oh the coffee… I’ll start there. Fresh roasted daily, delivered by a family friend, it’s dark, and delicious. I enjoyed their medi, super fresh homemade pita, served with scrambled eggs, the world’s best hummus, feta and cucumbers. It was light, and perfectly satisfying. Sweetie pie had the omelet with a touch of cinnamon. The potatoes served with it were perfect. Crisp, not greasy; seasoned but not overly so. Breakfast all day is a family favorite and we’re glad we stumbled on this lovely café. The baked goods looked incredible though I was able to resist. Overall excellent service and we highly recommend it overall.

Really good eggs and hash master. Friendly service. I want to try a burger here next time. The plates they use are nice for presentation(if you’re into that sort of thing)

This restaurant is located in the cutest little downtown plaza. For a Saturday morning we found parking right up front, metered parking. We sat right by the window that overlooking the sidewalk. When we walked in, we seated ourselves since they were just opening up. They got our drinks quickly, I opted for black coffee. They had a great selection on their menu. I ordered the Benny Goes Green Benedict which was eggs florentine with spinach. It was yummy. It came with a side of fruits & red potatoes. So yummers! Our servers were awesome! Super friendly & attentive. You pay at your table, no need to go up.

A delightful surprise. The«Midi» breakfast was a healthy combination of scrambled eggs, homemade hummus, olives, cherry tomatoes, and cucumbers. Definitely recommend. Don’t forget to order baklava with coffee.

Visiting a friend, and we went here for brunch since it was walking distance from her apartment. They serve lovely Mediterranean breakfasts, and I’d definitely come back in the future if I’m in the area! I had the fool mudamas, which consisted of a platter including these delicious citrus-y beans, really solid hummus, olives, pepperoncini, cucumbers, and feta cheese, all served with a warm pita. I’m not usually a breakfast person, but this really hit the spot, and I was super pleased with my decisions.

Cute little diner. Perfect for a simple and satisfy breakfast. The place gives a homely feel when you enter. We were seated fairly quickly. It’s bustling with activity and staff are dashing up and down the service the tables. They have a decent menu, all day breakfast options of eggs, pancake, french toast, mains like burgers and sandwiches. A fairly decent amount of option for a small diner. We ordered a «Never on a Sunday» Omelette, Goldilocks Eggs, hot chocolate and a chai latte. They have one of the nicest chai latte I tasted! The main breakfast were pretty good. Service was prompt(except when we wanted the check and to pay for it). Overall, love the cosiness of this place. Good food and affordable price too. Plenty of parking spots around the vicinity.

What a charming place! If you love the ambience of a café where the staff greets regulars by name, and treats you, a newbie, like a brand new friend, on top of serving delicious food, come here. I normally go to restaurants on Burlingame Avenue but wanted to avoid trying to find parking and waiting in line. After seeing the excellent reviews on this place, I was happy to try something new, and I’m so glad I did. I ordered the Frisco 415-omelette with bacon, avo, and cheese, and potatoes and toast on the side. The avocado was plentiful, dare I say too much for my omelette(a problem I’m happy to have). It was easily remedied by being smeared on my buttery wheat toast. I couldn’t help but smile while I dined. You can tell, at least I could this morning, that this place easily gains loyalty by a combination of camaraderie, consistency, and comfort. And, it’s right by DavidsTea!

Café on Primrose is located in such an adorable neighborhood in Burlingame, and the café itself is just as cute :) I love their Mediterranean take on breakfast. What’s better than breakfast itself is FUSION breakfast. My boyfriend got the Sujuk scramble, which included Middle Eastern beef sausage, olives, and feta cheese– this combination was out of this world because it was a perfect mix of Mediterranean flavors and traditional breakfast. He got it with a side of pita bread instead of toast. I’m a lover of all things Eggs Benedict and all things seafood, so I got the Crabby Pants. It came with perfectly poached and jiggly eggs on top of the crab cake, which tasted really fresh. The grilled english muffin that the crab cakes sat on was delectable– I usually don’t love bread, but I actually wanted to finish it up. Service was great and prompt. I found that I never had to ask for more water or coffee.

This is a quaint little neighborhood café, where the locals seem to frequent — everyone that came in knew the owner and each other! Our group picked this spot for our last breakfast before hitting the road back to OC. It was a cold and damp morning so it was nice to come into a very inviting little restaurant. There seemed to be only one cook and the owner/server. It wasn’t too busy on a Wednesday morning but since the owner was doing everything, service wasn’t super fast. But that was okay with us because we were in no hurry, plus the owner was so nice. Our table ordered various breakfast dishes; I ordered the Crabby Pants(crab cake eggs Benedict). It was alright… I generally don’t like eggs Benedict but thought I’d be adventurous with this variation. It wasn’t bad at all, but I probably wouldn’t order this again. Everyone else enjoyed their breakfast and my little man like his scrambled egg(which was brought out first!). I would definitely come back here and I would love to try the Mediterranean dishes they offer. Great little spot with friendly service.

This café was great. It was quaint and nicely decorated and there wasn’t too many people on a 10am on Saturday. We ordered the crab cake with poached eggs and the omelette with bacon and avocados. The crab cake dish was a little bit fishy but pretty good. The omelette was weird though. It wasn’t so much an omelette as much as it was an egg with some avocados, bacon, and cheese put inside. Nothing was combined or cooked together. Everything tasted very separate. Their potatoes are good I have to admit.(I would probably stick away from their omelettes). + great service + food came out in a timely fashion

Had high hopes of this place but it fell flat. It’s a quaint café with only 7 or 8 tables inside and a few outside. First of all, there is no air conditioning so if you’re planning on coming on a hot day, don’t come. I was sweating while eating and that is never fun. Service tried their best but was pretty bad even with the small number of tables. They forgot the milk to our coffee after reminding them and didn’t even give us utensils after serving our breakfast. The food was ehh, nothing special. We had egg and omelet dishes and it wasn’t anything spectacular. It’s actually pretty expensive for what they served. I wouldn’t recommend.

Cute brunch place right off of Burlingame Ave. I ordered the Ijeh($ 10.25) which comes with a traditional Mediterranean omelette, grilled potatoes, and pita. I thought the food was tasty and they have a good sized portion but the pita was cold and tasted a bit dry. The omelette was delicious! The service is slow and although she tried her best, there’s not much of an excuse with such a small amount of tables. We were sitting there for a good 5 minutes after she acknowledged us when we told her we wanted to order.

This café is a small café and what stands out is the home made yummy pita and breads. The owner mentioned that her brother makes the breads. This place is definitely an all in the family establishment. My sister and I enjoyed brunch here and couldn’t ooh and ahh enough about their breads(focaccia like bread and pita) and grilled potatoes which accompanied our pesto sandwich and scramble with mediterranean sausage. Items like hummus, and mediterranean vegetarian selections are present on this menu as well. We really enjoyed their mint tea… so refreshing on a hot summer day. We’ll be back for brunch soon! Thanks for the great service too…

My bf and I love this place. It’s basically our go-to breakfast/lunch place on the weekends since we live around the corner. The staff is always really nice, and despite always being crowded there’s almost never a wait for a table. It’s family owned I think as I’ve seen the owner walking around and once his daughter was there as well. The restaurant itself is very small, but it feels very welcoming and cozy. We LOVE the mint iced tea which is brewed fresh daily. My favorite meal is the crabby pants, amazing! My bf loves the basic English muffin, scrambler eggs and bacon. For lunch I love the Medi Veggie sandwich. They also have a felafel sandwich sometimes that is honestly way better than the felafel served at the Mediterranean restaurant on Burlingame ave. Oh! And they have the best pesto potatoes ever!

I was craving French toast for brunch… but it isn’t without a horrendous wait in San Francisco, especially on weekends. Lo and behold — did I find my new go-to mom and pop brunch spot with friendly service and great food. This quaint little café has outdoor seating which is perfect to pair a delicious brunch with the warm Burlingame weather. I wasn’t looking to try any signature dishes — I just wanted my eggs benny and french toast, so that’s what we got. The eggs benedict was flavorful and fresh. The French toast was absolute perfection. You know the feeling when you take 2 – 3 bites of a typical French toast and you start to regret ordering it because it’s way too sweet? Well, you won’t feel that resentment here! For the first time, we finished the entire plate! The challah bread of the French toast was light and fluffy, and not overpowering with the rest of the dish. The maple syrup complimented the fluffiness of the bread and gave it the exact hint of sweetness. I topped the French toast with strawberries that gave the French toast some acidity and tartness. AND… brunch totaled under $ 30? Money well-spent! This is what I call a perfect ending to brunch! No doubt about it will come back here to try the crab benedict!

Came here for brunch on a Friday morning while visiting a friend. They had a number of breakfast items. Everything came out good, my favorite was the crab cake benedict! It was the best one I’ve ever had, usually these come out too heavy and overwhelming but this was not the case.

We stumbled upon Café On Primrose after wandering at all the shops. We were starving and needed nourishment, so trusty Unilocal with rave reviews and yummy looking pictures and I am glad we did. Well, it’s a cozy and cute brunch spot. You can either sit inside or outside here and the menu is small. The food’s good, and pretty simple. Small portions for the price, but quite healthy. I love how fresh the food tastes. We ordered: Frisco — Handcrafted omelet with crisp bacon, fresh avocado, and Monterey Jack cheese. Served with grilled potatoes and your choice of toast. Eggs Benny — Classic eggs Benedict, two poached eggs, and Canadian bacon. Served on a grilled English muffin and topped with Hollandaise sauce. Served with grilled potatoes. Homemade lemonade, mimosa, and their«tiny» piece of chocolate & almond covered halvah. It was all delicious! The workers are friendly and helpful, so that’s always a plus. Overall, this was a nice place to stop by for a quick morning grab. Definitely a nice little find in downtown Burlingame.

I’ve had this placed bookmarked for awhile and decided to visit Café on Primrose for brunch on 3 day weekend. Luckily we didn’t have to wait and was seated immediately. After looking at the menu, we decided to order the sujek scramble and the salmon scramble. The sujek scramble came with pita bread and was very different and flavorful. It had peices of sausage and olives which dominated the dish. I guess that’s why they serve it with pita bread. The salmon scramble was ok… a little too fishy for my taste. Service was just ok. My very small glass of water wasn’t really refilled until it was time to pay the bill. There was only one waitress serving all the tables.

Quality food and quality service. Came here when I had an extremely long layover(4 hours) at SFO. My favorite brunch item is the Fool Mudamas(spelling?). It’s basically a mezze platter(vegetarian) with lemon garlic fava beans as the main item… so flavorful! The homemade hummus and fresh, hot pita are definite highlights. The dish is also surprisingly filling. I really enjoyed the soothing and refreshing hot black tea with mint served in a traditional tall glass cup.
