I used to love coming here because the service was always good. However I came on a Thursday 2 weeks ago around 130 after the lunch rush my service really sucked. The restaurant wasn’t even that busy. I waited over an hour and a half for food. No one checked on us in between. I had to ask for the manager to check on my food. I didn’t know if they were just understaffed or what it was. The two tables next to me also had the same complaint. They should at least apologize or acknowledge the long wait.

I wish I remembered our servers name! After a beyond horrible experience at Elephant Bar (where we couldn’t even put our order in after 30 minutes of waiting) we left and walked over here. From the moment we walked in the service was top notch and our server was amazing. He was very attentive, helpful, always made sure the chips and salsa never ran out, checked up on us and we were pretty much in and out within 30 – 40 minutes. Food was great but based on the service we’ll definitely be back! Just over hearing the other servers, seems like very friendly service.

Avoid. Avoid. Avoid. Ordered the 2 item combo, just horrid. Flautas super doughy taste, chicken enchilada was okay. They forgot the sauce for the doughy flautas and sweet corn cake (which I was looking forward to the most). Definitely will not be coming back.

Always excellent service, we look for Wilber who is outstanding waiter … He is polite and knowledgeable of the menu and drinks … We are becoming regulars …

WORSTT SERVICE EVER!!! I have worked as a server and I came during a game so trust me I can understand how busy and crazy things can get but to seriously just ignore and walk away when I let you know I was ready to over and then continue walking around the table yet NEVER getting back to taking my order! Unbelievable!!! I waited forever finally went to bar ordered a drink and finished watching the game and the guy never came back to check or ask to take my order!!!

This review is long overdue. I came here for the Mother’s Day brunch. Lines were long– we waited 2.5 hours before we were seated. The service was okay, but the place is not clean. All the plates and bowls they served were still dirty and wet. I had to ask multiple times for clean bowls and plates. Other people were upset about it as well. My menudo also had these weird hairs. Not sure if that’s normal but I’ve never seen black hairs in menudo. Also the food was not well cooked. The waffle batter was not well mixed since I took a bite and there was a chunk of powder mix. The location is beautiful but it needs a lot of improvement.

I rarely post reviews but I felt it necessary in this case. I’ve never experienced poor service there until tonight. They kid who was our waiter was incredibly unprofessional, unmotivated and had a complete lack of what it means to provide an enjoyable experience. Not only did he ignore us leaving us at times sitting waiting for 15 mins, but when he would come he seemed annoyed to listen to our request.
The only redeeming person was the manager Ryan, he was outstanding! Not only did he listen to my complaint, but he was incredibly empathetic and quickly helped us out.
Ryan deserves praise from his supervisor. Please El Torrito, recognize good employees and please handle the bad ones.

The top shelf margaritas were tasty and potent. The guacamole was very good. The salsa — tasty but hot! Within walking distance of the Marriott. Happy with the experience.

My wife and I came in with two kids on Memorial day weekend. It was busy, but the gal at the front told us 30 min to be seated. We decided to wait… An hour later we were finally seated. If this was the only issue, it wouldn’t be a big deal.
It took an additional 15 min for the waiter to come take our drink order, when the kids couldn’t decide I asked for water all around. After about 10 – 15 min he finally came back with waters for the adults and nothing for the kids. We then asked for some other drinks for the kids at that time plus chips and he proceeded to take our food order. (We’ve now been here 90 minutes or so). Another 10 – 15 min he brings drinks… We notice at this time the is bringing chips and salsa out to other tables, and has been, but has not brought us any.
Finally after being seated for an hour, we get our food… He notices we have no utensils and tells us he will get some, I remind him about the chips and salsa at this time. After 5 minutes, he has not brought either… so we wait another 5 and then decide to flag down a different waiter who gets chips, salsa, utensils, and drink refills right away. Our original waiter never came back to check on us until I flagged him down for the bill, which he brought immediately.
It was a busy night, but man… this guy failed us on every single account and consistently forgot to do what he said he would do. Nearly 3 hours after walking in the front door, we finally left.
At least the food was good.

If I ever thought I might contract a food Born illness … I will give you two times, it was India and here.

I came on a Saturday to eat here, the place was not that busy, so we were waiting for the host to sit us, while waiting, the manager, Ryan, was coming down the stairs, my daughter bent down to pick up my fallen purse, because I couldn’t due to my back problem, Ryan kept looking at my daughters back part and making flirtatious faces, that’s the first issue with this establishment, than while eating midway, I see him again checking out girls,
I mean I am a professional man and I know respect and if manager here cannot get his act together than why is this company keeping such management, I am not coming Here or bring my family here ever again, and will definitely tell my friends friends.

This place never ceases to amaze me! The food is absolutely fantastic with large portions of very tasty and authentic Mexican food! The staff is very very super friendly! The ambience is great as you get to sit and view the San Francisco bay while watching the arrivals of the airplanes coming to San Francisco airport! It doesn’t get any better! Very relaxing and also very good drinks for a fair price!

I f love this place their food the service was great til this indian girl ruined it all no offence no racist at all but we me and my family went there last Saturday we ordered our food she was nice in the bigginin. We weree eating after 20 minutes she slammed the check on the table iwas like wt## wer not even done i asked for more salsa de tomate and she ignored me iwas so mad cs it wasnt crowded that day .we decided to leave on our way out she was by the door talkin to this guy maybe she cares more about this guy then her job

I try not to write only negative things unless it was very bad. My experience was not a good one. We were a party of 10, and most our food orders were served incorrectly, cold and late. In my opinion, the food was overpriced, mediocre in taste and the service was poor. They deserve a 1 star rating but due to the beautiful ocean view, I gave it extra star.

View is great! Food is good, bathrooms-​worse than a truck stop. When I told the front hostess, all 3! of them looked at me like I was crazy and did nothing. Corporate should take notice cause that will get you fined!

After remembering this place from a childhood trip, we came back to visit on our way through SFO. The service was horrible, inattentive, and the food took FOREVER. I thought the previous reviews were just exaggerating and expecting it to be something that it wasn’t. Apart from the view, this restaurant is a waste of time and money. It is so disappointing. With good management and good service this place would be very successful. Until then, I’m surprised they make enough to keep the lights on. Two stars for the good memories, but how far it has fallen.

I am not sure why I keep coming here… Oh yes, the drinks. Don’t let the pics fool you. The shrimp was rubbery, the chicken was also not fresh and stale. The steak was beef jerky! We ate it anyway. lol I guess after a few drink specials you will pretty much eat anything. I will come back on Tuesdays for the fresh Taco’s and of course the drinks.

Great for Sunday brunch, brunch is up to 2 pm and consists of a buffet with bottomless mimosas!

I was in the restaurant and trust me very bad service as well as silverware dirty. Waitress waited 20 minutes. I would not advise to go to this restaurant.

We must’ve come on a bad night. Cuz food was bad. Steak tacos tasted like frozen old meat. Really not edible. I ordered ‘sweet corn cake’ and I was presented w/​2 tablespoons of corn fluff. WTF?!
Server was apologetic for kitchen performance & removed ‘corn cake’ off bill. Thank you!
I won’t be back for a looooong time.
