CRONUTS best ones I’ve had so far. Had plain, chocolate and custard filled. The price for unfilled cronuts are decent $ 12.50 for half a dozen, but paid extra 70 cents per cronut for the custard filling.

This place is definitely the underdog of cronut-eatery! San Franciscans always hype up to get cronuts from Mrs. Holmes or Paris Baguette, like have you seen the lines for those places? but no one ever really mentions this place. Well I’m definitely hyping up this place because their cronuts were original and tasty! And there’s never a line to get your yummy cronuts! My personal favorites are: $ 1.95 each * sugar cronuts with no filling * maple cronuts with custard filling(MUSTHAVE) I’m not a big fan of cream, so i always avoid getting cream filling. Their cream is thicker than whipped cream, but it still tastes like whipped cream to me. This place is located in a big plaza so plenty of parkings! There are no seatings, so definitely get your cronuts to go! Cheers!

The place did a great job of baking 100 donuts for my Christmas party. The cronuts were amazing. Everyone raved. They make donut and cronut holes, so everyone can have a sample without having to break the diet. The prices were super cheap and I could pick up anytime from 8am to 5pm. Nice.

Try donuts holes. It is a very popular neighborhood joint.

I love love love their cronut holes! A great take on the cronut craze, and a delicious improvement on regular donut holes. Although they’re a bit pricy(~$ 5 a dozen), they’re so good it’s the only thing I get every time I visit! They also have the regular assortment of donuts and coffee, and they also do a good French Cruller!(my boyfriend’s fave) **CASHONLY!**

Should be called ‘Happy Cronut’. Can’t get enough of ‘em. I’d come every here day, but that is just unhealthy and embarrassing. So I used to visit like every other day. The owner already knows my face, and we share the same name. When she smiles at me from behind the counter, I know what she is thinking, «Mmmhmm, I see what you are here for…» She already prepared the big box. Yup, this is why I am fat.

Cronuts are sooo 2013 but since we were in Burlingame, we decided to make a pit stop and pick up a few cronuts. They have circle shaped cronuts which are not filled and square shaped cronuts that you can fill with either custard, whip cream, or raspberry. Chocolate unfilled Maple unfilled Sugar filled w/custard I’ve been to a popular place in SF that sells cronuts but this place does it better. The texture of the pastry and the taste of the chocolate won me over.

Came in the afternoon and not that much selection. Should’ve came in the AM, but I figured they would’ve had some already made because they don’t close till 5pm. That’s ok, I’ll try back again for the Choc Cronuts. The glazed Cronuts is soooo moist and good! I definitely will be back

Best cronuts I’ve had so far in my life. I’ve been to quite a few donut shops, this one is awesome. If you’re hungry, get a eggwich, definitely a filler and a pleaser. It’s made using a huge croissant, and makes breakfast so much more awesome!

This place is a 5 star place but I’m knocking half a star for the sorta pricey prices and half a star for cash only. Often times I want to buy more and more and more but it restricts me since I have so little cash and so much credit. I wish it wasn’t cash only. Their cronuts and cronut holes can be filled with custard or jelly. Yes you read it rigbt… filled!!! So I got 6 custard cronut holes to try and it was so good I was getting requests from people to buy it for them. I don’t have pictures yet, will be buying more of the special stuff. They do have the other stuff that other donut places have like chocolate, glazed, maple, jelly filled, old fashioned, etc… Hopefully credit card or debit card soon, even little lucca doing credit card now!

Cronuts, donuts, holes, coffee– it’s your standard glazed donut and miscellaneous baked goods place, but with cronuts! I like the cronuts, but I don’t think anything will ever take the place of a good and plain old glazed donut. They’re my favorites! Usually when I go here, though, I just buy cronut holes or glazed donut holes. Honestly, everything tastes good. You can’t really go wrong. The employees are pretty nice too. One time I needed a quarter because I forgot that it was cash only and I was short a quarter so they gave me a mini discount. How sweet! CASHONLY! So go get some money.

Literally wondering how could I have let this place slip by me all these years I’ve been active on Unilocal… Happy Donut is located in Burlingame after you get off the Millbrae exit on the 101. It’s located in a plaza so parking isn’t a big concern. The only thing you should be concerned about is making sure you have cash in your wallet because this place is cash only. They do have an ATM machine in here, but there might be a small fee to use it so be warned. It honestly doesn’t look like much from the outside. It looks like any ol’ donut place, but their donuts are so good, omfg. The inside of this place is sort of small. They have 32-seater tables and that’s it. But there’s nothing small about their donut display. Mhmm. They got old fashioned, donut holes, apple fritters, and their most popular item… the cronut. And the best part is that they can add either whip cream or custard in it, too. Their donuts are sinfully delicious. Especially when you eat them as soon as you get them. So soft and moist on the inside. You can’t help but get a couple to go when you’re here. Their cronuts come in 4 different flavors: chocolate, maple, glazed, and sugar. All of them are delicious so don’t worry about getting a bad cronut. Overall, I’m gonna keep coming back. I don’t mind the extra pounds if they’re coming from these cronuts.

Words to describe the cronuts at Happy Donut = pretty much eating the krispy kreme version of a croissant. If you like Krispy Kreme, come here and try their donuts.

Definitely left this place happy! After a stressful visit to Mills Peninsula on an early Saturday morning we decided to give another try to this unassuming donut shop tucked in a plaza. We ordered the Cronut of course, apple fritter, and the whip cream filled Cronut. The whip cream filled basically has the whip cream sandwiched in between a Cronut that has been cut in half horizontally. Got our order to go and headed to the car to unshamefullly devour these bad boys. Cronut was pretty darn good. Not as dry as we thought it would be based on other places we’ve tried. The whip cream filled was just awesome. Lightly sweetened by the whip cream was perfect. The fritter was good too. Not dry breading in the middle the way I like it apple chunks were perfectly scattered within it. All in all, this place deserves another visit by me, us, you, everyone! Only thing I’d do different is order a coffee with it.

I loved happy donut. We walked in and decided to try a chocolate cream filled cronut, a regular glazed cronut, and an apple fritter. All three were amazingly moist and sweet. They didn’t look like they would be moist, but one bite in and you’re instantly convinced otherwise. My favorite of the 3 was the chocolate cronut with whipped cream which tasted more like a better version of a cream puff than a donut. The guy at the cashier was very friendly. We were greeted upon arrival and he gave us the apple fritter on the house. I would definitely recommend happy donuts for all your donut needs/cravings.

I came here yesterday around noon for the 1st time since my friend told me about it. I love croissants in general so knowing there are cronuts just gets my taste buds excited. Drove from San Jose to try their cronuts but i got more than just that. For the first time since living in the Bay(13 yrs now), a donut shop finally have french crullers! I’m from the east coast and love Dunkin Donuts’ french crullers. My fav donut! The glazed cronut with whip cream was delishus! The whip was fluffy and wasnt too sweet so it balanced out the sweetness of the glazed cronut. The glazed cronut holes are yummy but it was a tad bit sweet for me. Though I’m sure it would taste much better if i ate it with coffee or milk. Last, the french crullers. Oh boy! Did it remind me of DD’s french cruller but it’s fluffier. I love it! And they have a chocolate cover french cruller too! There is a large variety of donuts in here and I was a tad overwhelmed. I’m sure they’re all as tasty. :) It was definitely worth the drive to try these treats and i would definitely make a stop here in the future when heading to the city. The staff that assisted me was very friendly and helpful. It’s a small donut shop and takes cash only, but there is an atm machine there.

My go-to place for cronuts because it’s convenient for me and they’re delicious! It’s a good place to go to if you don’t wanna drive all the way in the city, deal with traffic, find parking, wait in long lines, etc. where cronuts are mostly sold. $ 27($ 2.25 each) for a regular dozen of cronuts, $ 2.50 for custard-filled cronuts. I like the regular cronuts better than the filled ones and they come in glazed(the best one in my opinion), chocolate, maple, and cinnamon sugar. I know some people said that the cronuts run out if you don’t get here early, but I’ve never had that problem, even at 2pm on a Saturday. But to be safe, I try to come as early as possible, and call ahead to ask if they still have cronuts available if it’s later in the day. The workers are really nice and helpful! And like a lot of donut shops, it’s cash only.

Super friendly workers and delicious cronuts! They have chocolate, glaze, cinnamon sugar, and maple — plain, sandwiched with whipped cream, or filled with custard. This is the first donut shop I’ve seen that sells cronut holes too! Pretty awesome. And of course, they serve the usual donuts too if cronuts aren’t your thing. The guy working when we came in was so friendly. He even gave us free cronut holes and 2 of our cronuts were on the house because he recognized my mom from last time. So nice!

So my girL and I was having this random discussion about the hype of CRONUTS& to my surprise, she had never heard of such a thing! Shocking right? Apparently our convo enticed her in such a way that she ended up coming into the office with two dozen plain & fiLLed cronuts from Happy Donut. LMAO! Prior to these little beauties, I’ve only had these flakey pastries from Paris Baguette and I honestly thought nothing could ever compare… BOYWAS I WRONG! BeLieve me when I confidently say that this place is the BEST of the BEST! CRONUTS are Light, fluffy, and oh so soft. The whipped cream and custard filling isn’t sickeningly sweet which is really important since the donuts are already topped off with sugar and/or gLaze. Needless to say– we massacred the donuts and we’re already planning on when we could go get more. Move over Paris Baguette, Happy Donuts came and definitely CONQUERED!

Ladies and gentlemen. This is as good as it gets. I’ve eaten pastries all over the place and this easily gets into the top 5. I ordered their long chocolate doughnut/éclair. They fill it with delicious custard after you order it so it’s so fresh. When I ordered it, it was just made and still warm. The dough was fluffy as air and not greasy at all. Simply amazing. The best part of the doughnuts is that they are not overly sweet. Perfect for my asian tastebuds. Sadly, I am only visiting and will be leaving tomorrow. I plan to bring a box on the road with me. Do yourself a favor and stop by. They have many Happy Donut locations but this one is the best according to locals.
