I ordered a five spice chicken over rice for mu hubby and a duck thigh noodle soup for myself. The noodle soup was good not great. And the five spice chicken wasn’t that good as everyone said, and the chicken portion was small… only 6 small pieces chicken! This is not the first time happened we ordered take-out with very very small portion. We gave them the second chance, however, we were still very disappointed with the food.

Average service but tasty food, big portions and affordable. As many have mentioned, you can’t go wrong with the Spicy Basil Chicken. They are always super busy during lunch time but you can order to go through Unilocal/eat 24hrs and it’s usually really quick…

Chicken noodle soup is the best soup in the Bay Area. I also have had the pad tai which is also very delicious. All of the food is fresh.

I used to come here a lot on my lunch breaks or before work. This place always has good phở and they serve really big portions! It is a little pricey, but I think it is understandable since you get such a big amount served to you. The workers in the restaurant are all very friendly and talkative. Not like those restaurants where they just hand you the menu, walk away, take your order, walk away, give you the bill, walk away and the only thing they’ve said is «thank you.» Nope. this place has friendly workers who will ask how your day is, how you’re doing. and I don’t know, but to me that’s good service and deserving of a tip! I really like this place and wish I could come here more often if it were closer to my home. Only downside. there’s a $ 15 card limit. But if you come often and they get to know you, they usually will let the $ 15 card limit slide… :D

Phở was good! I ordered take away, and it was ready when I arrived. Can’t complain about that! I would try this place again… it was tasty!

Spicy basil chicken!!! I got it over rice and it was so delicious. A nice, flavorful dish that wasn’t overly greasy or salty. I also ordered the cold vermicelli with Imperial rolls. I’ve had better… just get the basil chicken! Friendly staff; I’d come here again!

I ordered the combination chow mein for pick up. Overall, really tasty. Not greasy or oily. I wish it had more meat in it but overall really good and great price.

I work right around the corner from this restaurant and I’m really glad I can place an order for pick up and it’s ready within 10 minutes. I’ve had both the Chicken Noodle Soup and the Wonton Soup. I love the large amounts of veggies and greens(bok choi and cabbage) the put in their soup. It’s a nice change from meat and noodles only. Their broth isn’t overly salty and I actually really like the flavor of the their wontons.

Good food, average service. We showed up for lunch, and were promptly seated. The server didn’t take notice of the seating order, and randomly took orders from other patrons arriving after us My friend ordered the Pad Thai, and I ordered a cold noodle bowl w beef and an imperial roll. His food arrived quickly, but he felt obligated to wait for my food to arrive. After five minutes I insisted he start to eat. The food was good, the imperial roll was average, and the beef was cooked to a firm texture reminiscent of a tasty moist jerky. Overall I’d rate the food at 3.5 and service at 2

Chicken wings — good, I’d order them again. Pad Thai — beyond decent and a large portion. Beef noodle soup — if you’re feeling under the weather, come by for this. I don’t understand why there were so many tables but they insisted we sat on the left side of the room. I also don’t understand the concept of not having enough condiments at each table. Other than that, I’d say I’d come back. Food was good, portions were large, and service was normal.

Came for a weekday lunch to try something off the main Burlingame strip. Pleasantly surprised. It’s a basic quick eat asian restaurant. Mostly specializing in Vietnamese dishes. We tried the Imperial Rolls($ 6.95) appetizer. 2 rolls with veggie and meat fried up served with some vermicelli noodles and pickled radish and carrots. I’ve had better rolls. It was a cold day and a lot of folks were eating the phở soup but I went with Pan fried Udon with chicken($ 9.50). The noodles themselves were nice and chewy but the sauce wasn’t notable. My friend ordered the lemongrass beef with fried rice(special request, $ 10?) and that was actually quite tasty. The fried rice had nice crispy bits; the beef was tender and flavorful. Had I only had that I would have given 4 stars. Place also has boba drinks(avg $ 3.50). Overall on the divvy side for the neighborhood but adds a little variety aka diversity.

This is a go to spot for everyone in my office. It is a pretty small but if it isn’t busy, they can push tables together for a large group. I love their spicy basil chicken. You can have it on rice or salad. I have had it both ways and I prefer the salad. They put loads of big basil leaves in it which is delicious. Two favorites here are the pad thai and the Vietnamese noodles. Both are served with fried noodles. The Pad thai has wider noodles, the Vietnamese has tiny little noodles. They both have a slightly spicy but very flavorful bite to them. Both were good, but the basil chicken wins for me.

I am NOT a huge noodle/soup fan but my boyfriend loves it. He goes here for work and raves about it so we checked it out one cold rainy night. I had the beef phở. Very good, light and didn’t make you feel like you were having a heart attack after. He did the seafood special, he loved it(as always.) They gave us a side of veggies to add which was nice. We did the shrimp roll appetizer and it was fabulous! Highly recommend it. Small-ish place. I can see it getting busy and packed easy!

Went here to grab lunch to go and ordered the Duck Curry Noodle Soup. The have a $ 15 minimum card fee which I was unaware of when ordering, however the owner(I’m assuming) said not to worry about it because their portions are so large, she didn’t want me to feel obligated to order more food. So, Thanks! The noodles compliment the slightly spicy creamy curry, with the delicious je né sais quoi that only comes from eating duck, this dish was really amazing. Totally recommend!

If you are Part of the local B’Game majority, then this is a 4 star Asian place that has several food heritages available in Chinese, Thai and mostly Vietnamese choices. They have been westernized, of course, to serve the local Caucasian populace. If you are Asian and used to your ethnic noodles and dishes, then this is a 3 star place(maybe 2) that approximates familiar dishes with a western filter. Close enough without driving 5 + miles. There is a decent selection, and since many westerners don’t know the difference between Tom Yum, Chow Mein, and Phở, it is a good catch all place for cheap Asian food with a clean café ambiance vs Asian Dive feel. Service is good, which Westerners expect, compared to the grumpy throw it on your table and never talk or smile Asian dive service. It is provided by Guatemalans, not Asians. And this place is owned by some enterprising Taiwanese, which is where the whole Boba/milk Tea phenomenon got ft’s start. After all, it is called Tea Plus Noodles. Seems the noodles have caught on here in B’Game faster than the Milk Tea. Go north to Millbrae for that! Plenty of Taiwanese there.

First time ordering here. We ordered and picked it up. Not bad! I was feeling ill and chicken noodle soup sounded good. Based off reviews, I ordered. It tasted more similar to that of phở with chicken. The onion bread was a little oily. Would come back to try other dishes.

My sister and I were having trouble agreeing on a place to eat after shopping and we stumbled upon this place and decided to check it out since it was pretty cold outside. I love the selection since they have a huge range of different noodles and noodle soups. I got the Thai Noodle Soup and my sister got the Tomato Base Combination Noodle Soup. I thought mine was pretty good. It tasted like a Thai peanut soup with noodles and meat in it. My sisters was okay. I felt like it wasn’t as flavorful, but she liked it because she likes tomato based soup. Overall, I thought this place was okay. Definitely not the best noodle place that I’ve been to but I like the diverse selection and you get a big portion for a decent price.

I’ve come here twice now in 10 days. The reason why I mention the time frame is upon entering the restaurant we were approached by a employee who smiled at us, motioned towards a table while walking up to us and saying«Welcome back, same table». It’s been 10 days, this restaurant gets a decent crowd, and yet the employee still recognized both me and my brother and remembers what table we sat at. This man wasn’t even our waiter. I love seeing these kind of employees. If I was a regular, i’d expect it, but we werent, and this was a nice start to our return visit. I’ve uploaded 3 photos so far which I think speaks for itself for quality of food here.(ill review those) Crab and Prawn Imperial Rolls — They came to our table and I was ready to dig in. The are a bit shorter than im use to, but they are also fatter and stuffed with meat. They don’t skimp and add tons of veggies like a lot of places. It comes with the typical vietnamese sauce(but with a sweet/sour twist) that is used for vermicelli(which is good because there’s a mound of that there too. I love the crispiness of these rolls and they are probably some of the best i’ve had Regular Imperial rolls(no pic) — we got those tonight. Same length and width as the other, just as crispy, and once again packed with meats. comes with vermicelli and a sweet/sour sauce. I would definately try one of these if you come here as a starter. Which? both were real good, it would come down to which filling you prefer Combination Fried Udon — Once this plate came to the table, I was glad I made a good choice for my first entrée here. There was a good amount of chicken, beef, and shrimp on the fried noodles. I was expecting thicker noodles since it is udon, but I actually prefer these and it was what I was secretly hoping they would be. You dig in and taste the freshness of the veggies, tenderness of the meats, and delicious flavor of it all. The noodles are crunchy at first which are great, but as you keep eating the dish changes. Thats not a bad thing, its like getting 2 dishes in once. The noodles absorb the juices and becomes more like a thin chow mein. The noodles really do start to flex and take on the consistency on one. I will be ordering this again at once point. Green Bean Prawns — I wasn’t sure what to get today. I was contemplating the Vermicelli with pork chops and Imp rolls. I asked 2 of the waiters what they recommended and this dish came up so I decided to try it. Once it came I’ll be honest, I kind of regretted it. I don’t know what I was thinking, I dont«love» green beans, but i also dont mind them. The green beans were fresh and cooked perfectly and the shrimp were just right and had a bit of a snap to it. It was a good dish and I’m sure if your into green beans you will like it, but its the type of dish I could take it or leave it. With good food, a friendly staff, and decent prices, I will for sure be going back for a 3rd visit. This place isnt too far from work either, so it may be worked into a rotation.
