Dolan’s has been great recently. I can see some things have changed, service is much better, crowds are bigger, food has been consistently good from the kitchen. They have updated their happy hour and food specials, all great things! Servers and bartenders have been in much better spirits. I love coming here again. Stop in and try it out. Recommended: garlic parm wings, homemade chips with cayenne ranch, pulled pork when available, and burger with egg. Thanks for getting on the right track. Also, live music Fridays and Saturdays… Usually really good acts. Sometimes a lil loud, but I don’t mind that too much.

I had such high hopes for this place! We visited on a Thursday night and there was only one other table. It took us over an hour to get our food and the waitress forgot to ring in one of our items, so we spent about 2.5 hours there. The food was brought out cold and she didn’t even offer to take it off the check. I will certainly not be returning here, ever!

Brenda the bar tender was friendly and offered great advice on food and beverage choices. Husband and I shared brisket and cabbage egg rolls and chicken fingers with home made sauces made on sight. Owner Tom was very friendly and gave us a little history of the establishment which was enjoyable to hear. Definitely plan on a return visit and suggest it as a stop to be experienced by all. Prices are reasonable.

First time at Dolan’s with the wife. We sat at the bar. Brenda our bartender was very informative about the beers and the food. Ordered up some grub. Irish egg rolls with the brisket and Emerald Island dressing. Very good. Chicken fingers was also good. Had some Sam Adams Octoberfest drafts. $ 4 bucks and large mugs. Excellent. Good atmosphere plenty of room. The owner Tom came by and we had a chat with him. A very nice fist impression. We will be coming back probably for some lunch specials. Check it out.

They seated us right away and got us out quickly(we had to catch a movie). The fish and chips were excellent. Strong recommend.

Had the Irish Nachos with Brisket and Irish Egg Rolls with chicken, both were very good. Waitress was extremely positive and on top of the few tables there on a Saturday at 2pm. Place should be busier based on my experience, nice Irish Pub atmosphere and good food.

I’m not sure what took us so long to try this place out. Glad I didn’t pay attention to some of the other reviews. I docked a star only because I really wish they had a back entrance to the parking lot so we didn’t have to get on 130 and take a jug handle to get there. We live in the neighborhood behind it, but not close enough to walk. I was thrilled to see that they had Abita Purple Haze. One of my favorites considering I lived in New Orleans for a while, I’m always happy to see it somewhere. Wish it had been on tap, but no big deal. And they were very reasonably priced so I had more than a few. LOL The wings were fantastic. Hubby ordered 10 guiness bbq and 10 regular buffalo. He liked them a lot but wished they had more sauce. I liked that they were not overly sauced personally. He said next time he will just ask for extra. The blue cheese dressing was really really good. Not sure if they make it or not, but it was delicious. I ordered the Irish patty melt. It was probably one of the top 5 best burgers I’ve ever had. The menu says you’ll taste the difference in the local grass fed beef, and they are not kidding. It was crazy good. And the home made crisps were perfect. Hubby stole most of them, but I was stuffed after the patty melt. It was huge. Also, I should mention that the bread was FANTASTIC. It really made the burger. It was definitely freshly baked, again not sure if they make it themselves, but it sure tastes like they did. We stayed for the music for a while after dinner, and it was great! I was actually surprised at the talent. It does sound a tad echo-y, but if they put down some black mats it would help with that. Will definitely be back… a lot… lol Also, I saw a few kids there when we first got there(early dinner time) and they were seated at the tables. Which is good to know that it is family friendly even though it is a pub. Sometimes parents need a beer too…

The service is absolutely top notch, the atmosphere is friendly, upbeat, and full of character. The chef prepares all meals fresh, real home cooking. While having drinks at the bar, the owner came to chat. Kudos to the day time bar manager, full of life and enthusiasm.

Love the Guiness and Magners on tap! The Reuben was out of this world. We sat and enjoyed some good Irish beer and listened to a live Irish band… It doesn’t get much better. A very cool place!

Good food. Beautifully decorated. The owner was extremely nice and came out to ask how our food was. The vodka and cranberry I ordered was very small and tasted watered down. I swapped it for a beer and was much happier. We will definitely be returning.

Deja vue. I bought a coupon for a couple of bucks off for lunch, but decided to try it again for dinner on Friday night. I cannot believe that the same thing happened to us again. A few people dining at tables and the bar was half full. then this cute girl got up with her guitar and started singing 70’s songs during our dinner. Her electronics was not set right as we could not understand the words she was playing. Nor could we understand each other. The music was that loud. I asked the waitress to request that they lower the din, but it didnt matter. We ate, paid the bill and fled, never to return. Too bad. Good food, go earlier when it is quieter.

I like this place a lot. It’s very clean and well kept. Stopped in for lunch and received excellent service from Katie. She was fast and efficient. She also new all the specials off the top of her head and gave good food recommendations. Katie did a good job at holding a good conversation with my girlfriend and I and not lingering around to long. The food was great or I would say better than great. My favorite was the clams in the beer sauce. The wings were meaty and cooked just right. I also liked that the bar had real Irish food and beer. Harp on tap! Need I say more. Glad I stopped in to check it out. Now that I am newly a local to the area I will most likely become a regular. Great job guys!

The chicken fingers were ok. Crispy but a little pricey. DON’T ORDER the brisket and cabbage egg rolls! They taste like vomit in a crispy wrap.

If you’re looking for a great pub this is where it’s at. I always order chicken wings with mild sauce where ever I go, here I recommend the Guinness BBQ sauce. Great wings, burgers are awesome too. Friendly staff and the beer is nice and cold, very warm place with different kinds of entertainment.

Dolans is really come along as a must visit for me and our family. The food is great, love the harp battered recipes and beer selection. The owners are frequently on site which gives it a nice family environment. Music and entertainment is a breath of fresh air for Burlington

Hit or miss, lately it’s been more of a miss. Food always takes forever. Last time I went, I was served COLD chicken after waiting nearly an hour. The waitress was nice about it though, as I asked for it to be removed from the bill.(I don’t like sending food back, you never know what you’ll get in return!) They don’t have any craft beers on tap. Service is always slow, even when barely anyone is there. They also have nights where women come in to do «psychic» readings and charge a dollar per minute — seems cheesy and scammy(like they’re trying TOO hard)

Stopped by this place twice, once for dinner and another for lunch. Both times was waited on by the bartender as we did not see anyone else taking orders. Long story short — good food, good drinks, really slow service. The first time we sat at the bar and drinks came fine but the food was really slow(and it was just appetizers). The next time I was in was for lunch — fairly busy, still only 1 server. This time it took forever to get anything(drink order, food order, etc.) Stop by here only if you are not in a hurry!

Yeah this place is pretty cool. It’s an open space and a lot of TVs high up so you can’t mess with ‘em but at least you can stretch out your neck muscles while you watch the Flyers lose yet again. Few craft beers on tap, but they have Guinness and Smithwixks, and Stella(if Stella’s your thing, but I don’t like remembering watching a Streetcar Named Desire every time I wanna order it). The food. Now watch out, cos if you order the nachos, you get their homemade potato chips, which are pretty awesome but NOTTRADITIONALNACHOS. Those chips are like the t**s, man. They’re awesome. They go great with the burgers. I don’t know what boxty are, but they’re pretty slammin’, too. Really I haven’t had a bad meal here. Tuesday nights are an acoustic musical open mic, and all the music is pretty cool. It’s like a regular crowd of people, and it’s totally fun like. Thursday nights have karaōke, so when you want to sing poorly and really loud, you know where else to go! Also, right now, Sunday football specials. This place is cool. I’m coming back. I always come back.

The food is actually really good… but I just can’t get over the lack of service. Every time I’m there, I just don’t understand. Its just a shame that this place never seems to have business. Last time I was in there, there were 3 tables during trivia and our waitress would just disappear for gaps of time… leaving us with empty glasses a few times. Like… where did she go? Their burgers are good and their homemade chips and ketchup are good.

Our party of 4 was here for lunch on the weekend. Initially, I was a little worried as the place was almost deserted. Décor is clean and fresh inside(don’t judge a book by its cover, people). Service was excellent from both the bartender(who indulged my in-laws who live locally) as well as the waitress. They had specials for the Flyers game, but we did not partake. Guinness was a perfect pour. We had chicken fingers, «naked» fish and chips, and the burgers. Tempura batter on the chicken was surprisingly light and airy. Fish wasn’t my favorite. Ground beef was locally sourced(so or they tell me) and free of gristle. Burgers were very large. Fries are cooked with skin on and sprinkled with sea salt, also generous portion. In-laws weren’t impressed by the«crisps» that come with the burger but there were more than enough fries to go around. I’d like to try it again another time. Glad to see another option for a place to eat in Burlington.
