I like their selection of inventory for the most part. The notebooks and journals can get pricey. I wish they would get more stylish clothing.

So, I was on the way to the mall with my 4-year old niece, who was alllll excited because we got to go to the«Hello Kitty Store». I thought she just meant a toy store that had Hello Kitty crap in it but no — for once in my life I was wrong: She meant THIS place and it is a little toy store in the mall that sells NOTHING but Hello Kitty stuff! Yah, so I’m not a fan but she sure is! Apparently she wants everything in here for Christmas, which makes it easy for me to buy it all at one place. They have all these hard to find Hello Kitty items like the coin banks and playsets. They even have a tiny section where it’s the Japanese stuff(coloring books, etc, in Japanese). So, while I personally couldn’t care less about a store selling nothing but Hello Kitty stuff, she absolutely adores it, and that makes it 5 stars in my book.

I love H-mart, I love this place more. I never once stopped by without dropping in and taking something home with me. Oh my goodness. It’s cute overload in the store. They have a wide selection of kawaii characters, from Domo, to Yoshi, to Sanrio, to San-X, to Artbox creations; as well as everything from card holders to schedulers, to plushies, to stickers, to accessories. As often as I go there, they always have something new in stock and something exciting and new to look at. It’s very hard to find Asian kawaii things aside from Sanrio characters in a physical store in US, but this store has everything — from very familiar to unique characters. I love how I can find Artbox items here, which I absolutely adore and cannot be found in the US. All sizes, shapes, functions of kawaiiness. If you are an avid collector of hard-to-find Asian cuteness, definitely check out this place!

We go to H Mart about every week and while Jerry pays for the groceries, I always slip past the registers and into Magic Castle. It’s sort of amazing how much they can fit in the limited space, but they make it work. I could spend hours in there if I could, but since the drive home is easily 50 minutes away and we often have cold or frozen items to get into our fridge. My favorite aisle is the one with all the little journals and notebooks. The variety changes week to week, so I can’t always find them, but I love the little $ 1.00 notebooks. I’ve seen them in four or five different covers with art depicting bears, flowers, kitties, etc. There are also several other things to choose from, but the price goes up appropriately. One drawback is that you need to pay cash, unless your total sale is $ 10.00+ and then they do accept plastic. Another is that there’s absolutely no way the store accommodates a wheelchair or a stroller. If you’re a Hello Kitty fan, or Sanrio in general, you really should check this place out. There are thousands of little novelties that you’d never be able to find at your local HK display in Target or an American toy store. Definitely a cool find!

They have lots of hello kitty items. In addition, they also have lots of items such as backpacks, dolls, cellphone chrams and so on. It is a unique store to shop gifts.
