Sound Lion

Went to Burlington mall this morning with a mission. find over the ear headphones for an upcoming plane trip.
Apple. nope. Radio Shack. nope, sadly.
Food court, no. Pretty surprised when I went to leave I came across a store seemingly dedicated to headphones!
The employee who helped me today probably helped me for close to an hour, letting me try on pretty much every single set in the over-​the-​ear style.
Not sure the name of the worker, but his coworkers were all extremely nice as well– helpful, not pushy in any manner.
Recommended!

Great spot for higher end speaker docks and headphones. Got a JBL charge on sale for a birthday gift for a friend. The staff is WAY more knowledgeable than the other stores in the area. Assured us that product support was available should we need any, just come back to the store.

The staff at Sound Lion is knowledgeable. I will give them that.
However, when you sell products at list price you have to excel at your services to make up the gap. Two things that I am disappointed in:
1) They do not give refunds. Don’t know many stores that do this. Trying a product in-​store is not the same as your home or office. Know before you buy that you cannot get your money back unless the product is unopened.
2) On the services front. I went in to purchase a product that was out of stock. They were adamant they could ship one from another store overnight and would call me as soon as it was in. I never got a phone call and when I called them I found out it had never been sent and they had no record of the request. Again, when you sell at list price you had better have reliable services that are a step above. I guess I will be purchasing elsewhere … for less … with a return policy.

I visited Sound Lion just before Father’s Day looking for wireless headphones for my dad. Mike was very helpful in locating Sennheiser headphones and walked me through how to help dad get them set up. Dad loves his headphones! While I was there, Mike encouraged me to enter a drawing they were having to win another set of Sennheiser headphones for myself and I won! Mike called and said I could come pick them up any time, but being in the military I’m not nearby often — so my mom is going to pick them up for me. I absolutely recommend this place!

Went into Sound Lion looking for a new set of headphones and a wireless speaker. Michael was the staff member there that helped me that day, listen to what I wanted and spent the time with me. Pointed me in the right direction and budget. Great experience I would go back.
