I had coffee at the Café Serrano in Cabazon, CA on 6÷14÷2016. It was my 1st time there. As I was soon hitting the road and be eating elsewhere, all I had was a coffee($ 2.50) and a Danish($ 3.75). My server, Maria, aid a fine job of replenishing my coffee(I had three cups). A great place to relax and read the morning paper.

These prices are outrageous. The food was disguisting, it tasted like deep frozen microwave dishes college students eat on a budget. The service was so slow, a 20 minute wait for a tiny portion of slimy unseasoned chicken breast and mash potato which tasted like cheap smash powder you add with water And the worst part is it all added up to $ 18?!

Food was fair. Ate dinner last night, waitress was extremely busy but still very attentive to me. Went for breakfast this morning. Not very busy. My waitress had 2 tables, me and I was alone and a table of men. She passed me 14 times to get to their table and never once asked me if I needed anything or if everything was o.k. Brought my check without even asking if I wanted anything else. Very disappointed, will not eat there again.

Ate breakfast here and food was good but service was sub-par. It wasn’t busy and there seemed to be adequate staff but still waitress was never around. I had to ask another waitress to refill the coffee twice and had to wait about 20 minutes to get our check. Bottom line: food is still pricey and customer service was super slow.

The moon has more atmosphere than Café Serrano, which is an uninspired flat waiting room lacking depth or any ambiance. If not for the cashier upfront one would assume it was an old extension of the casino itself, like a large late 80s keno lounge, and not a restaurant since there little to separate the two. Sit in the back to avoid as much as smoke as possible, or sit on the perimeter and you can at least people-watch the old, sad, smokers mope by. The food? My wife’s matso ball soup, which had more celery than matso, was the worst she’s ever had. She didn’t like her turkey club sandwich on toasted sourdough, which was dry without the swiss cheese and tomato. I, however, liked the turkey dry: it felt like when you tear off pieces off the turkey the Saturday after Thanksgiving. And the bacon was crisp and dry. My side salad was a bit sad(barely a cup of wilted mixed greens), but my Coachella Valley Vegetable Sandwich was good.(I liked the Coachella sandwich before it was cool!) I did not taste ANY hummus(if what the waiter pointed out was hummus on my sandwich indeed was hummus, there couldn’t have been more than two tablespoons total), but I loved the thick avocado, cucumber, tomato, alfalfa sprouts, and head-scratchingly: cream cheese. A champagne split is $ 6 here, and $ 8 at the bar next door, so this is probably the best alternative to the bars to have a quiet drink. The service is great, and the prices fair, which is why it managed three stars, but this is a place you go out of desperation, like if you’re too drunk or lazy to go elsewhere.

Just your basic café with basic breakfast lunch and dinner items. Prices are reasonable and they give a pretty good amount of food. Our waitress was great! Great, attentive service and she brought our table refills without even having to ask her. After we paid, she even offered to give us to-go cups for our drinks and refilled them :) I ordered the all American: 2 eggs, hashbrowns, toast, and corn beef hash. It was delicious. We also ordered a ham and cheese omelette which was also very good. Overall good experience here. Good food, good service and at a reasonable price.

The food here is alright. I came here for breakfast because I had a free comp and ordered a ham and cheese omelette that came with hash brown. The omelette had too much diced ham and it took away from the taste of the actual egg. It should probably be called«Hamlette» instead of an Omelette haha. Anyways the hash brown was not cooked enough to be crispy. The color of the hash brown was barely brown but it was still edible. The servers were friendly and always came to check on us. Also when we were calling the rest of our party from afar, one of the serves went to escort them to our table. Good service, decent food.

Your typical café that serves breakfast(some items are served all day), lunch, & dinner. However, a bit on the pricier side. The All American(served all day) = 2 eggs, choice of bacon, pork sausage, or ham(bacon came with 4 pieces), hash browns, & toast(4 halves) — This is what I call a hearty meal! Everything was good, just made how I asked. Customer services was great.

* Price: $ 20 per person for breakfast or brunch. Not bad for a full service in casino. 3+ star. * Atmosphere: casual, small place but clean; 3 star. * Location: easy to find, across from the noodle company. 4 star. * Meals: Californian modern american. Good breakfast menu. Food is fresh and tasty… Not Micheline star but pretty good for a casino. 4 star. * Service: excellent, friendly staff. This place is the only 24 hour full service in Carbazon/Morongo casino. We can’t comment on the dinner menu since only come here for late night or breakfast. They have good breakfast menu with pancakes, eggs, baggles, omeles, etc. For healthy or weight watcher folks, they also have good selection of salads and lettuce wraps. You are not going to get Micheline star here… Nor Las Vegas gourmet restaurants here… But for late night comfort food, this is a place if you are staying in this area!

Has been a while since we have been here. Outstanding fish and chips yet again and the service from Ignacio our waiter was exceptional. I love a restaurant where your waiter takes pride in there job and wants your meal to be a great experience. If you have the fish and chips ask them to add pineapple to the coleslaw as it makes it taste even better!

Had breakfast here on our last morning. Wish we would have come here sooner. The food is GOOD! They’re willing to substitute. And with a build your own omelet option you can get your food as healthy or hardy as you like. The fresh orange juice was good. And I really appreciated that the hot tea comes with the bag on the side and endless hot water refills. Yes the service is slow and they didn’t apply the winners card discount properly. However of all the establishments at the morongo resort this one had the best quality/price balance!

After reading some of the reviews, if Unilocalers think you’re going to find a Michelin Star restaurant in a casino in the Inland Empire, no offense, but you’re kind of an idiot. That said, Café Serrano is really not a bad place. The service is excellent, the staff is friendly and attentive, and the food isn’t bad either. I’ve met friends here several times for breakfast and lunch, and each time have been very satisfied with our meals. Their menu is large enough to accommodate a myriad of choices. There really is something for everyone, and after several trips here, it’s always been a nice experience. Their hash browns are not greasy or salty and have been cooked to perfection each time I’ve been there. Their salads are crisp and refreshing, and my friends have always tried various meat/pasta menu items and have been very happy with their selections. My only negative would be the one time I tried a waffle. They generally arrive cold no matter where you go, but theirs are not light and fluffy, rather a bit dense and chewy. I didn’t finish it, didn’t even eat half, but that’s about it. They have a bakery with fresh, delicious goods as well as lattes better than Starbucks. It’s a casino, so it can be a little loud, but that’s to be expected. And while smoking is permitted on the casino floor which is adjacent to the restaurant, it really doesn’t permeate into the café, and being a non-smoker, I would know. All in all, it’s a better option than most places in Banning/Beaumont area.

I could have swore I wrote a review for this place a few years back… hmm… well, anyway! I HIGHLY suggest you request«Georgia» if you want awesome service! The food here is just okay, nothing memorable. I’ve ordered different things over the years, and I took a year or two break from this place and noticed the menu has changed. Food is a bit more pricier but I assume it’s cause they use better products. They serve warm dinner rolls with butter for dinner. I give this place a solid A-OK because I’ve never had to pay for the food here, so thank god for comps! lol

The flavor and texture of the Mediterranean Wrap was going. Crunchy cucumbers, tang of feta, sweet softness of black olives dressed in vinegar and oil and wrapped in a tomato tortilla was satisfying. Punctuated with the sweet acid pineapple and soft sweet melon of the accompanying fruit, my meal was enjoyable. Service wss friendly and accurate, but I’m not sure why it took 10 minutes to get an ice tea refill. You may need to fly your patience flag here. At least you won’t be losing cash on the casino floor.

This is a basic Casino coffee shop suitable for meals at midnight after gambling. In any such establishment, one should only order breakfast or a sandwich(Patty Melt or Hamburger equivalent). Don’t order a steak or try to have a good glass of wine here. You’ll just set yourself up for disappointment and why would you do that anyway? Breakfast items are decent and the servers were friendly and had a good attitude. Service is not lightening quick, but it is midnight after all!
