This was a great company, but unfortunately it is in bankruptcy. The retail store in Cabazon is not closed as of September 2014

On our way back from a weekend of playing around on the rocks and trails in Joshua Tree, a few of us stop at the Cabazon outlets to check out the outdoor shops. GoLite was one of the few shops we walked through. It’s clean, organized, yet sparse. It’s more of a boutique for the outdoors people. Golite has taken on a direct strategy; streamlining the retail experience by sidestepping the middleman. By selling direct only through and their own stores, they have eliminated unnecessary expenses that our competitors simply can’t — without sacrificing quality. In turn, which keeps the prices low and the savings high. No one found anything that we either didn’t already have or didn’t need at the time. The one major downfall is that the sales associated didn’t appear to know much about the outdoors. Hope GoLite provides training to those that don’t actually partake in outdoor activities.

Been eyeing their clothes on their website for awhile but im weary of buying clothes online. when i heard they had this store I knew i needed to check it out! if you’re from LA its on the way to both Palm Springs and Joshua Tree and definitely worth a stop. really friendly staff and well laid out store. I was able to find 2 shirts and 2 shorts that were on clearance that fit me really well. im definitely going to be picking up the ultralight down jacket sometime soon!
