I ordered the famous Ellen’s sandwich, preparing myself for something beneath all the hype, but man was it good! We ordered several different sandwiches and sides to try. I wish I’d written down all the details because they were so good, but that was the problem… they were all so good I was distracted. :) But no fear… after this I think one could go and order almost anything and be pleased with it. Definitely going to be a frequented place for us now.

While furniture shopping in the area, my husband and I stopped here for Saturday lunch. We arrived at noon and it was not busy yet. Very friendly staff with great energy. Plenty of seating indoors and outside. Mostly sandwiches and salads on the menu with a variety of salads in a glass display case. We ordered wonderful sandwiches: he had the chicken pesto and I had the prosciutto & burrata panini. Both came with a nice small side salad. Sandwiches run from $ 9-$ 13 or so; they are pretty big and if I hadn’t been so hungry I could have split. Tons of parking. It is located in a shopping center right off the 101 with some really fun antique stores, which are worth checking out, too. Would definitely go again!

This is a great little place, the sandwiches are excellent and I get consistent quality every time I’m there.

Was recommended to me by a friend. Definitely did not disappoint. The Ellen’s Special was a great sandwich. This was a warm sandwich, as all sandwiches should be. My philosophy of sandwiches is that they should feel and taste like happiness. I like cold sandwiches as much as cold hugs in winter. I was skeptical about how it would taste though. The tartness of the goat cheese vs the sweetness of the fig jam. Which would win! But I was pleasantly surprised that they did not add too much of either but they perfectly balanced each other throughout the sandwich. This sandwich is a little on the sweet side. For those of you who like sweet things, this is definitely the way to go. Not much else to say, but that I will be returning often.

This place had such great reviews I had to try it. It’s very, very small and you won’t have a lot of options for seats inside if the weather is cold. I had the Caprese Panini which was excellent. The side salad was tasty but had a glop of dressing that was too much for the small amount of greens. The Coconut Walnut Chocolate Chip cookies were amazing! I had to return the next day just to get 2 more.

Delicious and fresh, friendly service and well organized for carry out. The food was healthy and very tasty — I highly recommend this for a lunch spot! Whether you eat alone or with some friends, Blue Table is sure to please everyone!

I am finishing my lunch here as writing this. Had an appointment in the area so decided to stop here instead of my usual lunch stop, corner bakery. My Aunt also encouraged me many times to try this place. So, it is a cute little place with ok food and bad sitting. I had green salad with chicken and pesto salad. A piece of lemon cake. The greens were fresh, chicken was dry and cake was not fresh. The price is too high for this quality. But I did see many other orders came out that looked good and creative. The store is nothing special. Almost all items can be found in World’s market. I did not look at the cheese room. I was reading a lot of reviews about staff being rude, that wasn’t the case with me. The girl who took my order and served me was pretty nice and helpful.

So yumalicious! The cashier recommended the Ellen pannini(sp?), it was fantastic!!! Yes, a little pricy, but so worth it. They use good quality ingredients and they are very flavorful. Next time I’ll try some of the salads in the display, they looked delicious. They also had some other high end food items on shelves, wine, truffle oils, chocolates, yum!

What can I say about this place? It’s fantastic. Today I had the Ellen. I’ve had before but today was extra good. This is a very small spot across from the Commons in Calabasas. Everything taste fresh and every fight is full of flavor. They have a variety of specialty wine and cheeses. Again if you stop it is very small and quaint and you can barely see it off the street when driving. Seating is somewhat limited in that aspect, however I really enjoy the small town and authentic feel of the Place. It is a hidden gem in the same plaza where the post office is at.

The 5 star is based only on my one visit, and specifically for that one amazing sandwich I had, which I will describe shortly :) I was in the area for work and was so hungry. I Unilocaled around for sandwich cafes and found this little gem. It was only 4 min from where I was working so it was perfect! Parking is in a lot of street parking. The inside is small, but cozy and cute. A bit like a deli and café mixed in one. As you walk in their is a big table in the middle and a few seats by the window. Their is also a few seats outside. On the side of the walls their is a pretty big selection of wines. On the other side, more wine, crackers, jams, sauces and so on for sale. As you walk toward the register, their is a fridge for different selection of beverages. A deli case for side dishes you can eat or take home. A cheese closet room that looked real cool, and unlike something I’ve seen before. I did not go in but I’m guessing it’s where they store all kinds of cheese from around the world. The menu is written on the board. They have Cold sandwiches, Panini sandwiches, Pizza and Salads. Price is reasonable as well. You order at the register and they come bring out the food. _Prosciutto and Burrata($ 10.99) w/basil, tomato, and olive oil. I was not sure about this at first because Prosciutto can be quite salty, especially when heated in a sandwich. But the pictures looked great and I love burrata so I was willing to give it a try. THANKGOD! One of the best panini’s I’ve had in ahwile! Everything was perfect, good amount of sliced proscuitto, without being salty, I like that they did not skimp on the burrata. It was just oozing out. The tomato was nicely warm and the basil made is so earthy and light. The bread was perfectly crisp! Not too crunchy where it hurts to bite but just the perfect sound of crackle. Comes with a small side salad, and even the dressing was great. Some type of musatar dijonaise dressing. This is a must try! you won’t be sorry. I like that they give a choice of white and wheat ciabatta or baguette. The wheat went well with the sandwich, and made me feel a little healthier haha. I got an iced americano($ 2.50) that was good, but a bit watered downIf ever. I’m in the area I would love to try the other sandwiches, cheese, and side dishes but that sandwich is so good may be hard to pass up on it. I better bring a group so I can get a taste of everything ;)

Perfect, cute little gourmet eatery! Love the small business vibe! I’ve been coming here for the past 7 years and I LOVE it! The food is always fresh, and it is ALWAYS packed during lunch time. My favorite items are the salad trio(chicken avocado, broccoli bite, and usually I get the caprese salad), the Bologna pizza(veggie pizza), and the turkey meatball sandwich. They also have a great selection of cheeses, and speciality snacks/pastas imported from Italy and other parts of Europe. My mom really loves their Ellen’s Special because of the fig jam and she substitutes the goat cheese for provolone or mozzarella. I usually call ahead and order for pick up because the restaurant is a tad small, and parking can be tricky(small lot). I HIGHLY recommend dropping by this place if you’re in the mood for quality food in a casual setting.

Near my work so pretty convenient. Prices are definitely not«affordable» but you can expect no less in Calabasas. Food was a little underwhelming. Tried the chicken pesto sandwich and it was very basic, something you could easily make at home. Also got a side of the caprese«salad». The mozzarella was bland, the tomatoes were not ripe, and there was no basil so I don’t really think this qualifies as a salad. For a scoop costing five bucks… not worth it. Maybe we came on an off day or something but the employees were not friendly at all. Actually got some bitchy looks but again… it’s Calabasas.

Great service, picked up the marmalade jam, the sandwiches aren’t superb but they are huge and will last you two meals along with the side. What I am really raving is the desserts stocked up in the refrigerator, next to the main blue table. It is a very quant place and the owner is nice enough to explain the local farm fresh parties who give her the dregs eat ingredients. It isn’t cheap, it is a bit pricey but you get a chance to hopscotch around town and get a good sandwich. I will definitely be back to stop off for dessert to go, since it is Italian made. Pastas are very expensive and although they look amazing, the markup is too much to consciously pick up and take home. I’ll just head over to Whole Paycheck instead.

Great shop with lots of great things! The cheese room is fabulous, I love to get different cheeses for dinner parties! For lunch I love the Ellen’s special panini. Meatloaf is great. Trio salad sampler is a great way to try several items. The mac and cheese is yummy! Love all the daily soups. The brownies and chocolate chip cookies are amazing! Gets really crowded for lunch and the shopping center parking is difficult but the food is really worth all the hassle! Never had a thing on the menu that I did not just love. 5 star food only took off for location.

Excellent little gourmet deli. Even has an ample cheese and wine selection! Service was good, although they could make you feel a little more welcome. Besides that, the food’s amazing! I ordered the Country Turkey Meatloaf Panini, which came with a small side salad and was to die for. They also have bottled cold-pressed drinks.

Whether you live in the area or you’re just driving by, this place is a must for foodies. Fresh selection of cheeses and salads, not to mention killer sandwiches and pizzas. For sandwiches, try the«Ellen». For pizzas, go with the«Alpi» or «Calabasas Pizza».

Came here for lunch with one of my good friend’s before she leaves on vacation. She was craving a sandwich so we decided to stop here. The shop is homey and is half deli/half market which works here. The menu has a nice variety of sandwiches, pizzas, and drinks. I decided to order the grilled chicken sandwich, grapefruit Pellegrino, and a bag of chips which ran me about $ 15. Waited about 8 minutes before my sandwich was brought to our table. It was simple yet delicious. The ciabatta bread these use is very light and airy which I love because then it doesn’t feel like you’re just getting full on bread. Chicken is was flavorful and the side arugula salad it came with was really refreshing. Honestly, the price point is a bit expensive for what you’re getting(about 6 ingredients really) but I understand that they place being in Calabasas they’re regular customers don’t think twice about the price. Yummy food but a bit pricey for a chicken sandwich. I might be back just to ask about that bread though!

Small and casual, upscale for the millionaire hippies(a good reality TV series idea), or the average calabasas residents. This is the original location(10 years), larger one in Agoura. Order at the counter: 1. Beet Salad($ 7.99) — $ 42 dollars worth of beets, with goat cheese crumble, and candied pecans. Yum.(4.5 stars) 2. Turkey Meatloaf Panini($ 9.99) — well-seasoned meatloaf with burnt edges on beautiful ciabatta bread.(4.0 stars) With one rustic painted elongated table inside and 4 on the outside, be prepared to get it «to go» for your commune family of 12.

I got there around 11am just as there cookies were coming out of the oven. I had a warm and goey chocolate chip cookie that was to die for! Parking wasn’t bad. It’s a parking lot and free. I had a tuna sandwich and other deli salads which were absolutely amazing. The caprese is awesome. I would highly recommend this place! I can’t wait to go back and try the Ellen.
