A little candy train car in a little train car neighborhood. Fun to just walk through. We didn’t buy any candy, but we did get a really yummy watermelon popsicle mmm.

This is the second time that I have attempted to go in here. Middle of the day and it’s closed AGAIN! This time there was someone in there, doors locked, and a sign that says will return at 2:00. It was 1:06 when I tried to enter. The first time it was noon on a Saturday. Today is Friday. I won’t be trying again.

Cutest spot in Calistoga. The train car that houses all these sweets is very inviting. It’s fun to climb up the little stairs and enter to see a huge long happy hallway of any kind of candy you can imagine! Prices were very fair I thought, and the selection was so good I saw candies I’ve never seen or heard of in my life! They have everything here. Excellent service– they were friendly and welcoming! An absolutely spot on place, I look forward to coming back to Calistoga to reup on some Sassy Taffy!

I was walking through town and came upon this candy store. This place carries a huge variety of hard to find candy, fresh taffy in a massive amount of flavors, soda, and local made popsicles made from real fruit juices –no yucky high fructose corn syrup. $ 3 a popsicle. Besides the classic flavors(strawberry, vanilla, coffee) there were also exotic flavors like tamarind, hibiscus, and mango chutney. I had the mango popsicle; it was tasty… true to the flavor, not overly sweet. Also the taffy was fresh, creamy and melt in your mouth. I would definitely come back when I’m in town. It’s a cute kitschy candy store in the touristy part of Calistoga.

What can I say? Candy is candy! Whether you buy it at 7 – 11 or at this place. On 7/714, I went inside to buy candy. The clerk(an older man) was the unfriendliest sales clerk I have ever encountered. The only words he uttered was the price of the item I bought. No «thank you» or «have a good day» or anything. I gave him the money, he gave me the change, I said«thank you» and«have a nice day» and no response. Such a NEGATIVE vibe!
