What has happened to this place?! Seriously, there are more kids sitting, standing, shooting the shot with their friends, than working. Oh, and getting two of those passive AGRESSIVE little kids just stand there and stare at me while I try to eat, made me get up and walk out. And getting what you ordered, as stated on the menu??? You have a 50⁄50 shot… But that’s what you get when you have a bunch of kids running the place… Terrible & shameful Will not be recommending this place to any guest that comes to our spa anytime soon.

Pizza was really not good, and I love pizza so I feel like I have a tendency to give it the benefit of the doubt. Better off buying frozen pizza in this case.

Terrible service to start. These have to be fake reviews. The waiter looked at us 3 – 4 times from the bar. Didn’t help us right away either. The tables were really dirty. He came into the room about 5 min after we sat down. We sat down as the sign stated as we walked in. He walked to the register and waited for us there. I asked if I ordered up there. He looked irritated and just pointed to the sign and walked off. We just walked out. I should have read these reviews first.

Im only giving a one star because well. I had to. My boyfriend and i drive by everyday, we decided to go ahead and give it a try. First off we walk in the place smelled really funky and really old. No one was around there was a sign that said place order above in which we waited for awhile then read seat yourself the menus are right in front to take a couple ?? So we took a couple and found a seat. The table was gross and sticky. Three workers saw us and let us sit there. Finally a guy in a black v-neck shirt came and looked at us pointed at the sign as if we were stupid and started cleaning a table. We walked up and left. No customer service at all. Dont waste your money here.

If I could choose zero stars I would. I work in the Napa Valley and from time to time do take out from this place. That all changed when I had family in town from out of state and after a busy day stopped in to eat at this restaurant. My sister who is very VERY Caucasian in appearance, blond hair and blue eyes ordered for my family. The people working as front of house/servers were very rude to her, I think they are very racist. I had never had a problem before with to gos as I have darker hair and eyes I think. Plus the pizza was burnt on the bottom and wasn’t very good. The place was a mess, no one clearing up after guests leaving. The table across from us sat uncleaned for an hour. Wont ever be back. Even if im desperate for mediocre pizza.

Don’t let the patio invite you in. Pizza was ok but to processed for me. Service, what service there was none. We ordered a salad but never got it.

House wine in Napa? Check. Completely incompetent bartender? Check Fake positive reviews posted by the owner? Check It’s true that it’s been a little while since I’ve been there, but the bad experience still sticks out in my memory. A small group of us were headed home from hiking and we saw this place. I was in the mood for a glass of wine(it’s Napa, duh) but I didn’t want to go for a formal tasting. The three of us compromised on this pizza place. We ordered a large veggie pizza and a pitcher of Sierra Nevada. We went to sit outside and they brought out the beer. Either the Sierra Nevada was cut with Budweiser or they hasn’t cleaned the tap in a looooong time. Neither would surprise me. It was gross. The color wasn’t right. After a long wait I decide I want to have a screwdriver. If you’re over the age of 12, you know that a screwdriver is vodka and orange juice. The bartender had to be talked through this rather complicated recipe. The place has a full bar, so it’s not as if they were making some huge leap to mix a drink. Still waiting about an hour later we go to check on the pizza. Apparently it had been sitting by the cash register for a while. We were under the impression that it would be brought out to our table since the Sierra/Budweizer/tapfilth brew was brought out to us. Apparently I was wrong. The pizza was cold.

Pizza is a lot like coitus. Even if it’s bad, it’s still pretty good… This long held philosophy was completely turned upside down when I visited La Prima Pizza. It’s pretty hard to mess up pizza. Especially when ‘Pizza’ is in your business’ name. I don’t feel like this restaurant is worthy of my review, but I am bored so here is the breakdown. List of Failures 1) Bar/Alcohol — I had to inform the bartender on how to make a screwdriver. I’m quite sure I would most likely have to explain how to make a gin and tonic too. The Sierra Nevada was watered down. 2) Staff — Worthless. 3) Food — The pizza was low quality. Super doughy and sloppily made. Luckily I was with good company and had a good time, but this is not the place to go.

First time trying their pizza and pasta. It was pretty good and the staff was friendly. I also got a treat for checking in. I’d recommend this place :)

So… it’s a shame that this place lacks good service because I have always liked the food. I understand that you don’t «deliver» until after 5pm… Fine. But it makes ABSOLUTELYNOSENSE to me… when i call you at 4:52pm to place an order for delivery and you tell me you CAN’T take my order. Considering that it is gonna take ATLEAST20 min for the damn pizza to be ready for delivery ANYWAY(about 5:12pm bare minimum timing)… there is NOEXCUSE for this if SERVICEMEANTANYTHINGTOYOU. But probably not… cause you probably hate your job and the people you serve. THANKS A BUNCH!!!

Great food, not so great service. I found an open wall socket right next to the gum ball machine. Get that fixed immediately.

Only place opened after 930p on Calistoga that would let my girl and I order food. They have a very good selection of food to choose from, but I was basic and ordered a BLT that came with fries for 6.95 and my lady ordered a chicken wrap and a caprese salad both priced at 7.95. The food was delicious and is currently sitting well on my stomach so if something happens I’ll be sure to edit this review. Gave 4 of 5 stars because the BLT portion is a little small ok my opinion, but it was delicious so it’s cool. The chicken wrap was very delicious and the caprese salad was great as well.

Decent hot pastrami sandwiches. The small fries was plenty for two. Had a really nice & spacious patio. Their customer service could use some improvement, but it seemed like a pretty busy night. I’d definitely try this place again.

Came in for lunch with my husband and enjoyed one of the best pizzas I’ve had in a long time. Not only was the outside seating very relaxing with the breeze that flows through, but the great staff of Rafael and the amazing cook Juan Carlos. The restaurant is located on the corner so it was easy enter easy exit. I will absolutely be back to La Prima for a great piece of pizza.

Deplorable doesn’t begin to cover it! The pizza was good… I walked in and sat at the bar. Guy there counting money. Never looked up or said anything like, «I’ll be right with you.» Finally a server came by and took a drink and personal pizza order. Pizza came. No napkin, no flat wear, no offer. Got my own napkin from the bar. Ate the pizza. Really would have like another beverage, but no one offered. I had to go to the kitchen to get my tab. When I paid, I brought up the poor service. Who rang up my tab and took my money? You guessed it. The guy who didn’t greet me when I sat at the bar. I discussed the service issues with him(I don’t leave a bad review on line unless I first speak to the offenders) he said, «Oh, sorry.» Yeah. Clearly.

It took forever to get the pizza served. Also it is over expensive. The location is great though.

We were craving pizza and salad after wine tasting all day. This place did not disappoint. Best ranch dressing ever with fresh salad greens and large portions. Would have given 5 stars but the service was a little slow but the staff were all ver nice. Will go back!

Awful. Recommended by Indian Springs Resort, I went. Asked which pizza they recommended and was told the garlic chicken. Ordered a side salad. The salad had about 4 pieces of diced iceberg lettuce, two beets, two tomato slices, 4 cucumber slices. Bleh. And $ 4.95. Ouch. I give it two stars because it was quick and warm. The crisp crust reminded me of Totino’s 99-cent flatbread, which I’m oddly drawn to… But the garlic. What garlic? Blech. Avoid this place.

Really bad food. I can’t believe this place even exists. My husband and I came in here at 12:15 pm for lunch. There were 2 tables inside and 1 table outside of customers in the place when we walked in. All had food on their tables. The place is quite large and scarce, it is a Wednesday afternoon in Calistoga after all. The gentleman behind the counter seems to have no sense of urgency and is on the phone as I patiently wait to order. After 2 minutes he hangs up and takes the order. I order a pesto chicken sandwich, a Caesar salad and a caprese salad. The order took 45 minutes. No one else was in the restaurant, it was empty, everyone else cleared while we were waiting. We asked to get it to go, due to time restraints. I even wanted to help the poor cook in the kitchen just to get my order out. The sandwich was below average and on regular wheat bread you get at the grocery. The caprese was a joke. Slices of tomato and fresh mozz with balsamic drizzled on top. No olive oil, no salt, no pepper. The Caesar stated house made dressing… It definitely was not! It tasted exactly like a jarred or bottled dressing. I’m surprised this place is even still open with all the negative reviews. I would only go back to this place if I was starving to death. And if that was the case, I would go back in the kitchen and cook food myself. The food is soooooo bad. I can’t believe they even charge for this food. I want my money back and not at all worth the calories. I would have rather starved. This place should be on kitchen nightmares. If you are in Calistoga, you are better off staying on Lincoln. Avoid this place at all measures.

Took at least 12 mins, with only two other people in the restaurant, to get this $ 6 «grilled hot dog». It was obviously microwaved and I highly doubt it was 100% beef as noted on the menu. AVOID. We only stopped for a quick bite while biking the trail. This place is a joke. Seems like the place for local workers to stop in for lunch.
