Ate here twice. Got the same both times. Orange chicken, chicken fried rice, pot stickers, egg rolls. Orange chicken and egg rolls were great. Didn’t like the random pieces of broccoli in orange chicken though. The fried rice was gross. Both times. They seem to have the worst potsticker cooking skills. First time they fried them like egg rolls. Second time they just stands them and they tasted half done. Sticking to orange chicken. Egg rolls were just cooked frozen ones.

By far one of my favorite Chinese restaurants on the southern part of Chicagoland. Speedy service, nice staff, and overall quality food. Best orange chicken EVER and great shrimp & broccoli. Definitely recommend!

I really wanted to like this place, the other reviewers ranked this pretty high, but the food was just ok. I wanted to sample a few things, in an attempt to find new favorites and have enough of an experience to leave a thorough review. I ordered the orange chicken, bourbon chicken and Szechuan chicken — guess it was a chicken kinda night!!! The orange chicken had good flavor but like others said, it was just too dry. The Szechuan chicken didn’t have much flavor, but the bourbon chicken was good and was the star of the night. Oh, also had the rangoon which were light on the crab and overcooked. The portions are huge but that doesn’t matter if you don’t enjoy the food.

Love this place! Beats Panda Express hands down. Food is fresh, hot and quick. I really can’t say enough good things about them. I have tried and loved the orange chicken, egg drop soup, chicken fried rice, Hawaiian fried rice, and their egg rolls. Portions are big enough where you will have left overs. This is my go-to place for quick and yummy chinese food. Don’t let the exterior scare you… It is clean inside!

I ordered the Orange chicken lunch special because I heard they had good food. Man was I wrong! The food was horrible. The chicken has very great flavor, but dry. The shrimp fried rice was dry as well, and the eggrolls were even worse. They had a cinnamon taste for some odd reason.

OMG!!! The happiness special is off the chain. It has pan fried noodles, shrimp, beef, chicken and great veggies. That’s all I get for myself. It’s awesome, best Chinese so far.

I love this place. The biggest perk is that they deliver! The food is great! I’ve had a bad spell once or twice, but nothing to stop me from giving them my business. Everyone makes mistakes. Huge portions and reasonably priced. Gem in CalPark

Tried the Vegetable Pad-Thai, not the worst I’ve had. I counted 6 big broccoli pieces. that was the extent of the vegetables. Lots of noodles, no tofu. Flavor not bad, just disappointed in the lack of veggies and no tofu.

Not great, not terrible… grabbed some vegetable Pad Thai for lunch the other day. Freaking huge portion, and for $ 7.95 it was worth it. Noodles were a tad dry but tasted alright. Some to-go chili sauce helped out immensely. Other to-go orders from friends echoed my sentiments… quantity over quality. For the neighborhood, it’s about as good as you can get. For me, I’m taking my business to Chinatown.

So. I feel like I struck gold finding this new spot in Cal Park. I think their fresh fruit smoothies initially caught my eye. Mango, pineapple, coconut, avocado, strawberry. just a few flavors offered for a very reasonable $ 2.75.(My favorite so far is a pineapple/coconut combo) But this place is more than smoothies. This place is named Mr. Orange Chicken. so naturally, I had to try their namesake dish. Boy I am glad that I did! This has gotta be one of the better versions of Orange chicken that I have ever had. The battered, fried chicken chunks are prepared when you order and are coated in a very tasty orange sauce which has a bit of a kick from the tasty/spicy chopped red chili peppers sprinkled in. Paired with chicken fried rice and an egg roll(dinner special), and a price you cannot beat($ 6.95). definitely a must try! This place is borderline 5 star in my book(need to try a few more dishes). Great service, friendly owners and staff. Delicious, freshly prepared food, and a good location with plenty of parking. The only drawback, is that the building is small and is take out only. Some people might consider it a bit divey, but I say give them a chance, your taste buds will thank you for it!

They’re doing things right here — the guy from Restaurant: Impossible would be proud. I think Restaurant: Impossible should be required material in B-school curricula. There used to be a vile chicken wing place here. Now there’s a nice Chinese carry out place. Robert Irvine’s lessons are not rocket science: give the place a face lift, develop a solid menu with fresh ingredients, have a signature dish for which you will be known and concentrate on the customer service. And then it helps to throw in a little bit of fun which can be contagious. And guess what I chose here. The orange chicken, of course. It was served on a bed of broccoli with a side of rice. I got the medium size and it was plenty of food for a big guy like me plus leftovers for a snack tomorrow. I like my food hot and this orange chicken fit the bill. With breading fried in oil and a sweet glaze, its probably the unhealthiest thing on the menu. But well worth it. My only comment is that the broccoli was a nice addition but I would prefer it a little more al dente. The place has other things besides orange chicken — there’s an extensive menu. Its carry out only — the customer area is tiny and holds only a handful of people. I found this place making my way to I-57 but I’m sure it will become a welcomed addition to this neighborhood. The staff is young and eager to take care of you in their bright orange shirts.
