My first vineyard stop. The best of the three I visited. They had an area with little nibbly things and plates(other wineries should get on board…) I got the antipasto plate for my group. We had Zach the bartender. Bravo to him for dealing with our group! He was great! This winery also boasts horses(big beautiful horses and minis!) and a cute little shop area. Honestly, the only wine I actually enjoyed my entire trip was here. Thanks everyone there! I’ll be back!

I was hesitant to write this review, but due to the embarrassment I experienced I feel it is necessary. This last weekend, I visited the vineyard with three other women and my service dog. I called ahead to inform them my dog was coming, and even had someone visit the day before to check out the area. I was told dogs are allowed in general, and there would be no problem. The inside was crowded, but the moment I walked in a bartender started to yell at me that I had to leave. When I asked him why, he said«someone may step on your dog.» I was very confused, and kept asking him what he was talking about. He was very sarcastic, and told me «yeah, accidents never happen.» I told him it was a service dog and allowed, and he still kept repeating that accidents happen and I had to leave. He would not listen to me when I tried saying I already called, and my dog was a service dog. I love visiting the North Shore since I live so close, and this place will no longer be somewhere my friends and family visit. It was a rude and embarrassing situation. After I left, an entire bus tour left behind me and the place cleared out. I feel I was the target of a disgruntled employee after and long and busy day, but this was clearly unacceptable. I am happy to say the nearby locations were much more accommodating. Please take note Baiting Hallow.

It’s incredibly unfortunate that this was one of my favorite east end vineyards, that I will NEVER return to. The INCREDIBLY rude bartender refused to allow my friend’s SERVICEDOG to enter the tasting room. The last time I checked, service dogs are allowed to enter any facility their owner chooses within the state of NEWYORK and we CALLEDAHEAD to verify that animals were okay. The arrogant attitude displayed by the staff, as well as the blatant insensitivity to my friend’s seizure condition made me disgusted. I will NEVER return to a place like this. Absolutely ridiculous.

Nope. So they had the misfortune of being my second stop that day. I was not impressed. The«guide» took a long time to meet our party and they are not really up front about how their tasting tickets work. They have two bars and its not really a comfortable set up — not to mention — one of the bartenders was less than hospitable. If you can’t be hospitable to all the guests then I assert you don’t need to work there. I did like their dessert wines but we weren’t really given a great experience so I wouldn’t bother going there again. I don’t recommend this place.

I loved wine tasting here. The whole ticket idea is great so you can wander a little and come back for your next taste. The wines were great and I love that they help to support the rescue horses on the farm. Delicious and inspiring!

I can’t say it was a Vinyard to die for. it’s a fun pace to be with a group of friends for a wedding party or a bachelor’s party but to taste wine and understand wine definitely not the place. Horses are beautiful but that’s all I can say that made me wanna come back, just the horses

Great place but singer on 10÷24÷15 was a total asshole. I sent a note that i had got engaged and wanted to say«so excited to marry you“to my fiancé and the singer looked at it and said«yeah. Ill file that one»…what a pathetic lonely man. Will never go back. The bouncer even smiled and personally handed it to the guy. RICKYRICHYIS A MEANSADLITTLEMAN.

Went here for drinks and music. Sauvignon bland and Riesling was fabulous. A lot of open seating which was surprising for this time of year, lots of good music– perfect band for a fall day. Super packed but lined moved quickly. Maybe get w couple more restrooms? Wait was about 20 min long which was a bummer. All around really nice!

Came in here for a tasting, it was very crowded and took awhile to be served. Not a great experience, as there are several vineyards to choose from on that same road. Good: -$ 16 for 6 tastings nice starter for couples –Can bring your own food(but not a larger cooler) –Nice and big outdoor space to relax and enjoy your wine –Live band playing music Bad: –Inside was crowded, was not a laid back and pleasureable experience –Bathroom lines indoor were crazy, had to use the port-a-potty –Service to refill your glass for tastings was not the promptest as you are competing for your refill with patrons who are asking the workers several questions about the wine they want

I am not a fan of vineyards that attract a million of kids LOL is that bad to say? LOL Well anyways this place caters to families which is fine but not my thing. However, inside is super super cute. They have a couple of rooms you can sit in with 2 bars inside. I can’t wait to go in late fall when it all(hopefully) calms down. I have to say one thing that really bugged me as how I was brushed off when inquiring about becoming a wine club member. I was not given any attention to my questions. I still don’t know exactly what you get for being a member. The person I was referred to didn’t explain at all, handed me an application and ran off. I mean yea they were super busy but when you are tending to a customer to tend to them until the transaction is complete… right?! ONESTAR for this! LOL

This place is big and festive. Different vibe from more serene vineyards. Lots going on, plenty of seating, a live band, country line dancing, jewelry & trinket vendors. Many food and drink options beyond the wine. A nice place to stop with a big group & dog friendly. It was our last stop so we didn’t get to enjoy it fully, but will return again.

My friend and I visited this vineyard twice and both times we had a great time. The first time was with Shecky’s girls night out where different vendors sell different products. The vineyard was very crowded but still manageable to get around and finish our wine tasting. The second time we were part of a bus ride day trip to Long Island North Fork area to different wineries. It wasn’t as crowded the second time and I appreciated their grounds more that day. We met some cool ladies and enjoyed some wine. The staff were cool and we felt welcomed. I came prepared and brought my sandwich because I remembered this place wasn’t that affordable.(their wine or food). The wine tasting was cool as we learned a brief history of each of the wines and what foods/dessert they were best paired with to drink. They have horse back riding and live music to chill and enjoy the day. Its definitely a place to check out if you’re in the area or you can hire a driver or take a winery bus tour and check it out. I do recall seeing a few tipsy ladies at the end of our bus tour, especially the ones who bought bottles of wine and were drinking on the bus en route to the next winery. It was all in great fun. LOL

Awesome service — a bit crowded but that’s what you get coming to the North Fork the last unofficial weekend of Summer. Amazing wine. Will update on the BBQ indulgence …

The Dave n Busters of wineries! The wine was just okay and not worth noting. My review is based on the wine but primarily on our reception, how we were treated and the food. It was clear when we arrived my party of six were the only chips in the cookie. This establishment isn’t run like other places we’ve been to… they have a couple of bars spaced throughout a room and you have to purchase tickets as you would at an arcade place. We stood for a moment observing how this establishment operated and approached a bar when a group appeared to be wrapping up their tasting. Coincidentally, a woman with a resting facial expression relieved the current female bartender just as we arrived to the counter. Our server was aloof, cold and consistently underpoured. She almost shortchanged one of my friends by pouring a drink and not giving her the remaining tickets. Interestingly enough just as we took our drinks and walked away the previous bartender returned. No background information on either the wine or the grapes was provided or even offered. Oh and their idea of meatball sliders are Swedish meatballs in a hotdog bun… @ $ 12.99. Yeah, overall an unpleasant /unsatisfactory experience.

This Vineyard is one of the best on the North Fork for atmosphere and activities. There was a live band, wine, beer and something called a wine-a-rita that tastes amazing. I had to walk around with one. Its like a frozen margie had a baby with wine. There’s all types of food: pies, cakes, scones, etc. Be prepared to share the stage with lots of other people and local in visiting from out off the island, alike will be there. This is a family establishment so you will see children frolicking through random drunkies, especially in the areas where the animals are(retired race horses, I think) or you could take a look at the grapes on the Vineyard. This place is run by a large family, and they are all very sweet. I will be returning soon.

I had a great girls weekend trip to this particular vineyard. It was very clean, the wine chooses were great and price point very reasonable. There was plenty of great food and tastings. I will return! My favorite drink was the winearita. The one thing was that I was traveling on a tour bus and was not made aware that we could not have water bottles. One of the owners approached me in regards to it. There’s a horse tour that shows horses they have rescued and have helped to rehabilitate. Nice place to visit and gain some knowledge on how this party vineyard began. I wish there was a vineyard tour.

I just read a Food and Wine article that said LI wine was«becoming» legit… and it might be, however it is overshadowed by the«I am an asshole and I know it. deal with it» attitude that is experienced by anybody that did not grow up in The Burroughs and parts of NJ. I get it, you all take pride in that, but LI will never be a legit«wine country» if you don’t start caring for your Patrons more than yourself. Tried going up the street to Roanoke… beautiful winery, we showed up 15 minutes before closing and they refused to give us a tasting, we could only purchase a bottle. Imagine showing up to a winery in Michigan, Virginia, Napa, Russian River, and them turning you away… before they closed(would NEVER happen). Wake up LI… and maybe… just maybe you can become a big boy wine region. You call this a wine and cheese plate… really? NorthFork Bar/Restaurant is a refreshing escape from this shrillness. Great food and really cool bartender(Ken).

Great atmosphere, music show and wine. It might be a little pricey compare to others but it is worth it. You are welcome to bring your own drinks and food. You can also get into a horse tour for $ 5. Definitely great for a family Sunday kind of day.

I came here on a Saturday in June. It was extremely crowded — long lines for drinks and food, and cramped seating. I’m talking a long line just to get a ticket for a drink, and then another long line to actually buy that drink. I would give this place another chance but I would not come back here again on a summer weekend, the crowds really took away from experiencing what this place has to offer.

This place ALL depends on who you are coming with and WHEN you are coming here. I feel like most of the vineyards just depend on who and when actually. This is the kind of place you wanna go with a group of friends/family or rolling in with a party bus. My girlfriend and I stopped here first for our wine tasting weekend getaway. It was ridiculously crowded + noisy. You had to wait on a long line to get your tasting and had to choose fast because there are people in line behind you. It just wasn’t what we were looking for. But I must say, there were groups of attractive people here. So if you are in a group, coming on a weekend then this is a good vineyard, but if you wanna look into your lovers eyes and whisper drunk sweet nothings to each other, then skip it.
