18 inch combo pizza was $ 27 and it was so worth the price. Lasagna and Joe’s special(parmesan chicken with eggplant and spaghetti) were super good as well. The service was incredibly top notch. Will come back!

Just passing through and was craving Italian food… A quick search lead us to D’Amores. This was a great find. True authentic Italian, quality of food is superb, we tried multiple dishes and all were tasty and filling. The owner Joe welcomed us and gave us his full attention and assistance with the menu as it can be overwhelming. so many choices. Highly recommend D’Amores in Camarrilo.

The food was delicious and the service was excellent. Authentic Italian food. The staff all worked as a team and kept our drinks filled at all time. Will be coming back when we visit the Camarillo outlets(very close).

Just came from D’Amore the food was outstanding. Joe greeted us @ our table & was so personable, he made as feel welcomed. I will definitely be back. Keep up the great work. We had the spaghetti w/homemade meat sauce, Joe’s special, fettuccine with shrimp, & meat livers pizza. Outstanding antipasto salad also. Can’t wait until next time!!!

I have lived in Camarillo my whole life, yet I had never been to this restaurant. Last night was my birthday and my family took me here. OMG I have been missing out. We loved every dish! The Caesar salad, yum. The complementary bread and olive tapenade was to die for. My chicken picatta was perfection. We all fell in love and can’t wait to come back. Portions are big, service is great, and everyone is so friendly. We will be back ASAP!

For this type of Sicilian Italian… it’ the best in Camarillo. .it blows Ottavios outta the water… it’s our go to joint… for Tuscan Italian try Lucerne… Anyway back to D’amores… We personally like the olive tampanade. Occasionally we venture to try something new on the menu… and let’s face it… it could be a hit or a miss… but it’s like that in every single restaurant… The spaghetti is good… not my all time favorite. .but it’s good… the staff is generally pretty good… again…in every establishment there is a server who just doesn’t cut the mustard… D’amores is no exception… one young pretty girl just can’t seem to get things right… consistently…if you can’t remember what someone orders. .write it down… don’t try to memorize it and screw it up time and time again. That being said… they have a guy who works there who is Fantastic. .always a smile… good with kids. It’s a clean place… that’s one of the reasons we will continue to come back… it’s a neighborhood place with fairly consistent food… and we like it. So overall… keep up the good work and thanks Joe for staying open in Camarillo.

I waited over an hour for my delivery and then I got a text saying that the restaurant it closed and can no longer complete my order. They were open when I ordered my food and closed an hour after that.

Ok pizza. I prefer other pizza places. I did not get a wow factor that made me want to go back. Clean place and nice service.

I ordered the chicken parmigiana which is ok. However the service deserve 1 star the guy served the drink is so unpleasant, I think he is the owner, I just have water, not only he has no smile from the moment I walk in, he actually look angry. There are many good Italian restaurant locally. I can deal with minimal service but don’t want to spent money and look at that face. Will not go back.

Absolute best Italian around and organic ! Also good selection of gluten free items that no other restaurant has. My daughter ate her whole pizza and kids eat free with an adult meal purchase ! Owner very friendly and heart atmosphere ! We will be regulars here for sure !

Food is tasty and when you dine in it is a very delightful experience. Unfortunately, delivery isn’t the same. Delivery arrived and there was a missing item. The delivery man(I wish I knew his name because he was awesome) went back to get the item and brought it back with a dessert. Before he arrived for the second time I realized there was another error with the the order. I called hoping to catch him before he came back, but unfortunately I didn’t. When I spoke to the lady on the phone about the order, turns out the order was not even taken correctly. There was no attempt to resolve the order without charging me again for their error and a person going without their original order. Delivery guy, again you are awesome. Girl who takes orders, please work on getting the correct info.

Never been here before and I was invited by some friends. They said it was pretty good. It wasn’t bad but it wasn’t great or special either. I had the dinner special($ 9.95) with a choice of Caesar salad or house salad. I had the house and the salad itself wasn’t anything impressive but the Italian dressing was pretty good. The serve it in a cruet on the side. They have like 6 choices and I had the lasagne with meat sauce. The meat sauce was a classic red with plenty of meat but the serving was just a small square with some sauce on the side. The bread was some bland hard bread slices with an olive tapenade that wasn’t that great. I don’t know what I was expecting for the price but I like my lasagne baked in a dish with the crusty cheese. The waitress was all business not very friendly. We sat in a weird half booth half table and my table wobbled. We had a great time though but I think it was because of my friends not the atmosphere.

***THEYHAVEBEENCERTIFIEDASTHEBESTPIZZAINTHENATION*** Anyone who gives this place less than 5 stars is a damn fool. the service is fantastic, food out of this world, and the ambiance is comfortable. Highly recommended.

Came here for dinner with a few friends and had a mixed experience. Came again for lunch and had a much better experience. For dinner we had the lasagna, which some other reviewers said was the best they ever had, a house salad, and spinach ravioli in pink sauce. The house salad was pretty standard, with a nice Italian dressing on top. The spinach ravioli in pink sauce was enjoyable, and the pasta dough tasted like it was made fresh and was cooked al dente. However, the lasagna left a lot to be desired. Although the portion was large, the quality was poor. The beef in it was very dry and needed more seasoning, as did the entire dish. Even though there were many components and adequate amount of sauce, the lasagna was very bland. Service was also a mixed experience. For those in the group who ordered paid beverages, they had ample and quick refills. But those who only had water were not given any refills the entire meal, even despite asking for more water. While some of the group enjoyed their meal and want to come back here, I do not feel the same. However, it seems if you stick to certain items on the menu like ravioli and order paid drinks, you will have a great experience. Just don’t order the lasagna. This said, we did come back for lunch. Got the Penne Arrabiata this time, which is penne in a spicy garlic tomato sauce. The lunch special is a great deal for $ 10, you get salad, an entrée, and bread knots. However, the bread knots we got tasted like they were just leftovers from the night before as they were hard and strangely cold in the center. Despite that, the penne in the spicy sauce was delicious, especially with the addition of sausage for $ 1. I do recommend going for lunch and trying out the Penne Arrabiata. That being said, we still didn’t get our waters refilled. Maybe the trick is to order two waters at the beginning? I guess I’ll try that next time and see how it goes.

You’ve met her. We all have at one time or another. She takes you in with her smile, laughs at your dull jokes, leads you on with her playful touches. And when you finally make your gutsy move she informs you: She has a boyfriend. That’s D’Amore’s in Camarillo. The First Tease: A stones throw away from a good wine bar is this 80’s throwback Italian joint who’s signage promises pasta and steak. STEAK. Two things I love, together, in one place. Unfortunately for you and I both — there’s no steak on the menu. I was informed that they(might) have steak on occasion but it’s a day_to_day roll of the dice for meat-hungry patrons. Tease Number Two: The sauce was good. Tomatoey, herbaceous, clinging to the pasta. The chef clearly had a message for me: I could produce good food, if I cared. Instead I was served chicken that delivers a chewing challenge rivaling that of a child’s teething ring. If the food doesn’t convince you of apathy in the kitchen, I’m convinced front of house is up to the task. The floors were covered in old food, flies are everywhere, and at one point I saw a Manager /Waiter using a hand towel to brush off a dirty table — you guessed it — onto the floor.

My husband and I have been coming here for years. Tonight I thought it was over for good. We got a Christiana pizza to go. It took over 30 minutes for the pizza to come out of the kitchen. Then once we got home and opened the box(5 minutes later), the pizza was gross. Soggy, falling apart. The crust was burnt on the ends but somehow completely soggy to the point of being wet. Yes, wet oily pizza. We just threw it out. Then we called to tell them how bad it was and they sent out a new one. It was delivered quickly and it was high quality and delicious. 5-star material. So why the gross one first? Please tell me this isn’t hit and miss now. The tomatoes were very watery and seem to be the issue. I’m hopeful the first pizza was just a one-time thing.

Came here for lunch on a Saturday. This particle location is tucked away in a low key shopping center that doesn’t seem to get much traffic. Anyhow, the restaurant is clean and offers indoor and outdoor seating. There were only 2 tables being used, so there were plenty of tables to choose from. I ordered garlic knots as a starter and the kid ordered cheese pizza. Pizza was okay. But the garlic knots were very DRY(minus one star) My main dish was the lobster ravioli. NOTGOOD. It was dark yellow and pasty(minus another star). It went back with the waiter. The hubby ordered the ravioli funghi. Which was pretty much chicken Marsala ravioli. It was average. When I sent the ravioli back I ordered the gnocchi pesto with chicken. I was a much better choice. Not the best, but better than the ravioli. The upside… our waiter was extremely sweet.
