This is my lunch spot when I hit the outlets. Always get the lunch combo with house special chicken with brown rice and a small drink just under $ 10.00 I don’t understand some of the negative reviews. Every visit, the workers have been extremely nice and helpful. Different staffing on the weekends perhaps?

I generally love pick up stixs. My company orders large amounts of food every few weeks. We generally go through their online catering service which is AMAZING. To day we had less people in the office, we opted for individual lunch specials. What a bad idea! There was hardly any meat in the containers mainly just rice. I was okay with this, though, because it tasted good. That was until I bit down on a nice piece of bone. It was small, but boy did my teeth disagree with it.

My husband and I have eaten here several times and this time I had the Teriyaki Salmon for only $ 10.99 with fresh veggies and it was delicious. They try very hard to please the customer. They also serve other healthy options and the fish feels like its the same quality at the more expensive seafood houses in the area. Eggrolls are good too.

This was my first and last time here. We tried to order the bourbon chicken and were told it would take 20 minutes so we asked for the teriyaki chicken and were told again it would take 20 minutes. So, I ordered Kung Pao chicken and my husband ordered Mongolian beef. The Kung Pao chicken was extremely salty with a strange tangy finish that had very little chicken and too many water chestnuts and zucchini no spiciness. I only ate about half. My husband’s Mongolian beef wasn’t much better. The beef was overcooked and loaded with more onions than anything. We won’t be back.

My husband and I tried it once. The food was not to our liking. Service was good. Food a bit pricey.

Horrible. Utterly a waste of my time. When you can’t read what the order says… why do you work here? Stay away from here if you expect to receive what you ordered.

Myself and my wife have been here a few times since moving to Camarillo from Ventura. Our order has been made incorrectly everytime and/or purchased food missing from our to go orders. We try to drive to other locations when possible. It’s no wonder this location’s Unilocal rating is lower than its nearby peers. Hopefully, improvements are upcoming.

Waited 20 minutes for food… only to get home and realize they gave me brown rice instead of fried rice. I paid $ 2 extra for the fried rice(that I didn’t get).

The food is good here for sort of fast food«Chinese». I particularly enjoy the bourbon chicken, brown rice, and pot stickers. Their entrees seem to have rich enough flavor that you can eat without and additional seasonings or sauce.

This is the 2nd time I have had their Asian Chop Salad(with quinoa) and it is still fantastic! My first one was at another location and I was so happy to find it in Camarillo. The entire team is tops!

Had one of the«less than 400» calorie entrees as did my dining companion. Both were very good: a garlic chicken and a Thai curry dish. Surprised how good and fresh this was. Surprising amount of crisp vegetables, light but tasty chicken, and a spicy kick. Friendly, clean and casual. Would definitely eat here again if I am at the outlets.

When I got to the counter to order, I started ordering because it didn’t seem like the girl at cashier was busy– so when I started ordering she snapped at me and told me «NO, WAIT». As she put in my order and I payed, it just seemed like she didn’t want to be there like she was in a bad mood and didn’t care If she showed it. Well that put me in a bad mood aswell. Poor poor customer service. Food was okay. I ordered two chicken combos. Orange chicken and sweet & sour chicken. The orange chicken combo was my husbands and came with noodles, though very little of both compared to my dish which was more rice than the entrée. My dish was the sweet and sour chicken with white rice, and it was good but the veggies were RAW. The broccoli, onions, carrots. Which means there was a lot of food that I did not eat since more than half of my dish were veggies. Personally, I wouldn’t eat again at this establishment. It may be «better» than Panda Express but it is also way pricey for the amount of food that I got.

First time at Pick Up Stix. I dont know about the other reviewers, but I had a very pleasant experience. My pregnant wife and I were on our way back from Solvang and needed a pit stop before getting to OC. After witnessing the poorly managed food court in the outlets we decided to try out Stix. Stix was like an oasis as we entered its very clean and cool interior(it was a hot day). The price was a little bit of a surprise because it was a little more than I wanted. But since we were so hungry, we had the Chicken Thai Coconut Curry and the Firecracker Tofu. Both were fresh off the wok because they were piping hot. Our girl cashier brought the food to us with a smile and the food tasted amazing. I sometimes dont even taste that level of flavor from regular Thai/Chinese restaurants. The curry was creamy and was perfect to mix over our rice. Lots of chicken for her and me. And lots of sauce for mixing. The firecracker tofu was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. My jaw literally fell to the floor because they got the combo so perfect. I’m serious, I never had tofu that good ever. By the end of our meal a different server came by, this time a man, and asked if we needed anything with a smile. The service may not sound like much, but for a fast food«Asian» place you honestly dont expect too much. Stix went above and beyond my expectations in terms of food and service. Although it was a little more than I wanted to spend, the food made me want to find one near where I live. Hopefully they can live up to the experience I had at Camarillo.

The service is great! The food is a less greasy Panda Express. It is tasty, but not the highest quality. I like that there is an option to vegan-ize pretty much every entrée. I asked for extra spice, but wasn’t too spicy(I ended up adding some extra at the table). But anyway, Pick Up Stix is tasty, affordable food.

The place was nice and clean but it was pretty empty too. I ordered a grilled salmon salad for myself and chicken chow mein and Mongolian beef with brown rice for my son. They didn’t have the beef in a combo meal and it was $ 37 — that’s a pretty pricey lunch for two at a take out. Anyway, we place our order and sit on the patio and wait for them to bring our order. I noticed right away that the chow mein had no chicken in it. I showed the waitress and showed her the receipt and she said definitely there was chicken inside if we ordered it. So she went back inside. I took a fork and dug through the chow mein and their wasn’t one piece of chicken. So as I walk in, the waitress immediately says she just told the cooks to make another chow mein with chicken. Now, why she just didn’t take the chow mein when I told her kind of pissed me off because she was dishonest. Anyway, my son decided to keep the chow mein so I asked her to just refund me the difference without the chicken. She had no problem refunding me $ 2. The food was good, all of it so I would definitely go back to this location, hopefully it will be smooth sailing lol

CHINESECHICKENSALAD — tastes better than it looks and there are way too many mandarins in the salad. I think they should put a tad less mandarins and more greens for a better ratio. KUNGPAOSHRIMP — I ordered it extra spicy and it was still kinda medium spice for me. the flavor way pretty ok considering this is a fast dining place. CHOWMEIN — was way too sweet and saucy for what I know of traditional chow mein. It was more like a Japanese yaki soba noodle. CHOCOLATESPRINKLEFORTUNECOOKIE — a nice treat at the end. plenty of chocolate to accommodate each bite.

Firsts time here, food was excellent, very affordable we ate under 25 bucks for two people, had soup, chow main, chicken and two sodas, just need to work a little bit in keeping it clean.

I have been here twice, with mixed results — first time was a pleasant surprise — the wife picked it up on the way home and I wasn’t expecting much, the food was fresh and tasty, second time tasted like the food was sitting in the steel warmer for 40 minutes — so Im giving it 4-stars cause my overall impression was a positive one — :) I am putting the price range at moderate, because I felt it was a little more pricey than I expected This place feels like its in-between Panda Express and an actual Chinese restaurant -

Hole in the cup so my soda went all over me, the cashier wanted to argue with me over the fact that she never gave me a receipt, half empty but no clean tables, too loud to talk thanks to the slamming of dishes in the kitchen. Really not a pleasant experience.

I was expecting fresh, fast, and flavorful. Not so much. I got over priced, nasty«oriental» style food. I had the Bourbon Grilled Chicken and Chow mien, wonton soup(which was outstanding!!) and a regular drink… totally…wait for it…$ 18.00!!! The chicken was rubbery, tasted liked a «gas grill flame» and drenched in a sweet, off tasting sauce. Tasted more like burnt maple syrup then a bourbon base sauce. The chow mien was just plain noodles cooked in a similar sweet sauce. Completely over powering the noodles. Not sure how much sugar I had but, I almost became diabetic from eating what I did. Threw out the food. Awful… However, if you must go, I mean really must go because you’re dying and there’s no other food joints for thousands of miles in any direction, they try the Wonton Soup. It was hot, flavorful, chucked full of crips veggies, chicken, wontons, and shrimp! By far the most flavorful soup I’ve had outside a traditional oriental restaurant. I would have rated it one star if not for the soup.
