St John is a beautiful retailer with very chic clothing designed for the woman with impeccable taste.
The clothing is well made and beautiful but not for every gal. The price point is a bit on the high side but you get what you pay for. This is not the kind of clothing you wear and throw in the washing machine. It’s dry clean only type of clothing.
It’s not the kind of clothing you would wear to the grocery store. It’s more for the professional woman.
They had this amazing fox fur vest that was calling my name but I gave up wearing fur for ethical reasons but the vest was still speaking to me darn it.

if you love St John Santana knits this is the place to get them; the retail stores no longer carry a large line of Santana knits.. I’ve worked with Susan for years and she has been very helpful. Get on the ir mailing list. I order on line and rarely go out to the store.

If you like St John’s brand, you’ll like this store. I walked in and was greeted fairly promptly (after one of the store associates got done telling another associate about someone who had «junk in his trunk»). She greeted me and as wandered near their clearance racks, she let me know that they were an additional 40% off the marked price. She cheerfully said it was such a good deal it was almost like they were paying me to take the clothes home. I thought that this was an odd joke considering the fact that the additional discount didn’t bring anything down under $ 100, but she seemed to believe it and then followed it up with a sincerely friendly offer to help me put together an outfit if I wanted. She said this was her specialty and the thing she loved helping with most.
They had pretty blouses, jackets, pants, suits and dresses. Several things under $ 200 on the clearance racks, but the $$$$ Unilocal rating is otherwise definitely warranted. The starting price on this brand of fashion is quite high.
Overall I liked my visit here. The store is small, but clean and the staff was friendly and enthusiastic.

I get it. Most people who spend this type of money on apparel may never come to Unilocal for reviews but I’m writing this anyway.
The selection and pricing here is wonderful. The prices are much more affordable than paying regular price at Neiman’s.
My experience was an over the phone order gone bad. A friend who «appreciates» St. John pieces like I do told me she received an email that certain items were an additional markdown. She forwarded pictures, I called my order in for three suits and they were sent. I was charged shipping three times because the items were sent from other locations. But while the shipping charges suck, they are not the main reason for 2 stars.
Once I received the items, I decided to go with a different bottom for one item and return one suit which was too big, and the skirt for another. The receipts said all sales are final but I thought nothing of it because it was never disclosed when I called the order in… Too bad for me that I did not learn of the policy or see a receipt until after my card was charged. The store refused to issue a refund. I shipped them the items and they tried to ship them back. Talk about pushy.
The battle is not for the weary and I’m in it to win it. Now I know the policy and you do too! If it is marked down or on sale, you are stuck with it.

Was looking for a mother of the bride dress and this store couldn’t have been more helpful! Loved the service, the great advice! Wish I could wear this stuff all the time. Oh well! Love my dress!
